Box Office: Chinese Film Detective Chinatown 3 Creates Havoc, Breaks The Weekend Record Of Avengers: Endgame

The weekend box office reports coming up from China suggest that the new releases collectively have recorded the highest weekend of all time with gigantic numbers.

The COVID-19 pandemic is officially over for Chinese box office. Two major films Detective Chinatown 3 and Hi Mum have stormed the cinema halls. The business has been benefited from Lunar New Year but another big reason is that people have been dying to watch films in cinemas after a long lockdown.

The weekend box office reports coming up from China suggest that the new releases collectively have recorded the highest weekend of all time with gigantic numbers.

As per boxofficeindia.com, the box office of China has fetched a total of $700 million which is historic and is something never seen before. Detective Chinatown 3 was the biggest contributor as it collected $398.2 million thus crossing the weekend numbers of Avengers: Endgame i.e. $350 million by a huge margin. However, now that record has been surpassed by the 3rd part of much loved Chinese comedy mystery buddy film.

Another release, Hi Mum also got a very good start but stood far lower compared to DC3. The word of mouth and advance for weekdays, however, seems stronger compared to the latter which means it will overcome it in coming days.

Bigg Boss 13 WINNER Sidharth Shukla Has A VERY SPECIAL Message For His Fans

Sidharth won the "Bigg Boss 13 Winner" trophy and a cash prize of Rs 40 lakh.

After spending almost five months in the “Bigg Boss 13 Winner” house, actor Sidharth Shukla has been declared winner of the show. He has defeated co-contestant and model Asim Riaz.

Sidharth won the “Bigg Boss 13 Winner” trophy and a cash prize of Rs 40 lakh.

After announcing Sidharth as the winner, host Salman Khan congratulated him, and also clicked a selfie with him, and first runner up, Asim.

Other contestants who reached the finale were Asim, Shehnaz Gill, Rashami Desai, Arti Singh and Paras Chhabra. Paras quit the show by taking away the cash prize of Rs 10 lakh.

Also, apart from Sidharth and Paras, other finalists won a trip to Abu Dhabi with their loved ones.

In the finale episode, audience got a chance to witness some stellar performances by the top six contestants. Sidharth too performed. His sensuous dance with Rashami on “Ang laga de” song left netizens in awe of them. Not only this, he also gave a sweet ‘nok-jhok’ performance with Shehnaz.

Salman Khan also danced, and that too on the tunes of his song “Munna Badnaam Hua”.

Former contestants, including Shefali Bagga, Vishal Aditya Singh, Madhurima Tuli and Himanshi Khurana, were also present in the finale episode to cheer up the mood of the finalists.

To take him down, Steve Rogers will be roped in from one of Avengers: Endgame’s many timelines to aid them in the fight. When using the Quantum Realm, technically, it would not affect the emotional impact of his last appearance in the Avengers series. The story could also move forward with why Captain America isn’t an old man when he appears next in the MCU films.

While the fan theory seems too intriguing, it remains to be seen whether the studio is bringing Chris Evans for the upcoming film.

While her Aquaman 2 character Mera has been a constant topic of debate, and fans want the studio to fire her, the studio decided to cast a parallel female lead alongside her.
