Hi everyone, I am Palestinian born and raised in Gaza city, I moved to London Ontario 4 years ago with my husband. I am raising this fund to help my family flee the war and come safely to Canada and reunite with me and my kids again.

I'm writing to you at a really critical and urgent moment. Presently, my family is in Gaza and is dealing with unspeakable conditions. My family and I are fervently requesting your assistance so that we can help them flee to safety and reunite with me in Canada. I live in Canada with my 2 kids , yet I feel like I'm thousands of miles away from my family and are helpless to stop the suffering caused by ongoing aggression in Gaza. The situation is getting worse every day, and I worry about their safety.

I've been putting my family before myself since the beginning of the war. My heart shatters into even more pieces and hurts more each time I say this but they have already made evacuations inside Gaza with no safe place to go to. They didn’t manage to take any of their belongings except some clothes and important documents as the Israeli occupation forced them to evacuate immediately. Even by evacuating to the safe area as the Israeli claims they have witnessed so many bombs and death everywhere but they have miraculously survived each time.

Recently, Canada announced a program stating that immediate families of Palestinians with Canadian citizenship or permanent residency will be eligible to remain in Canada for three years in a move designed to bring them to safety while war rages in Gaza between Hamas and Israel.

I was overjoyed to hear this news because it gave me hope that, after this extremely difficult period, I would be reunited with my family. However, my joy was tinged with bitterness since I knew that they would not be able to pay for the rent or even the exorbitant living expenses in Canada

My brother is expecting his first child in May 2024 , after 1 year of marriage. he is very worried about this baby after having one miscarriage before and wish to take his wife and baby to safety but he won't be able to afford the costs of the delivery in Canada or even provide for his baby's needs at least for a while until he settles down and finds a job.

My sister is a 4th year medical student, she is studying in the Islamic university of Gaza. She's passionate about her major and dreaming of becoming a doctor but the Israeli occupation has shattered her dream into pieces when they bombed the university and turned it into aches. Now, she has a new opportunity to fulfill her dream again here in Canada, but studying in Canada is expensive and she will never make it without your help and support.

It is extremely difficult and demanding to start over in a new country without any savings, especially for people who are already fleeing the war and have nothing left for them. However, you may assist them by helping them with the initial steps of their new journey.

Your support, no matter how small the contribution, means more than mere financial aid. It's an expression of your solidarity, compassion, and humanity, granting her a chance at a new, secure life .Together, we can make a difference, rebuilding a life and dreams from scratch. Back then, before the war started, I used to have a very normal life, where I went to college to study graphic design, went to the gym, and hung out with family and friends. We used to have a life worth living, and everything we needed was there. Life was simple, easy, and happily lived, but now it's full of death, pain, and tons of hardships.

During this genocide, I lost many special things and people in my heart. I lost my beloved grandma without even getting the chance to say goodbye. I witnessed my mom getting injured, with nothing in my hands to do but pray for her. I lost my room, my house is partially damaged, and it can't be used for living.

I want nasty uncontrollable horrible women this season. I want Nyra to go batshit crazy and be hell bent on getting her throne back, I want her to show just how deep a mother’s rage can really go. I want Alicent to really commit to supporting Aegon, I want to see her be selfish for once and take and keep taking. I want Baela to be the badass dragon rider she is, I want her to be a character we know and feel for and I want her fight with Aegon to be the coolest thing in the entire show. I want Rhaena to show just how political savvy she can get. I want Helaena to be more than just the mad woman stereotype. I want Mysaria to really be the one that’s team smallfolk and actually look out for them and their best interests, especially commoner children. I want Nettles to BE THERE and I want her to wow everybody and put targ stans into an early grave; I want to see her claim sheepstealer, I want to see her interact with the blacks, I want to see her ride her dragon, and be the coolest hottest person there. And I want to SEE Alys and all her freaky witch stuff, while making self insert girlies angry. And by god I want Rhaenys to have the best ending scene a character could ask for.

Now that Lucerys is dead, doesn’t Rhaena lose her claim to Driftmark? Joffrey is next in line after Lucerys.

That’s why betrothing the girls to Rhaenyra’s sons isn’t foolproof.

You got me there. I wouldn’t say it was a full proof plan because anything could happen to either of them, and evidently it did. But Joffrey isn’t even in the position to where either Rhaenyra or Corlys have to think about how to insure that Velaryon blood remains ruling Driftmark for too long on the account that he’s named Prince of Dragonstone not to long after. Since Jacaerys unfortunately dies in the Battle of the Gullet and then Corlys petitions for Laenor’s bastards (rumored to be Corlys own) to be made legitimate so he can name Addam of Hull his heir. And then Aly of Hull becomes Lord of Driftmark and married Baela.

So does Rhaena lose her chance to be the Lady of Driftmark? Yes. But does it all grimly work out in the end? Also yes. Was it a good plan? No, but it was the best they had at the time.

So you are right it’s not a full proof plan to insure everyone’s happy but then again nobody was counting on the fact that a civil war would break out, wiping out all possible marriages. So what I guess I meant was that Rhaenyra came up with a good solution in her circumstances, and that had everything gone as planned she would’ve been Queen, Jacaerys would’ve been King with Baela as his wife, and then Lucerys would be Lord of Driftmark which would be more legitimate since he married Rhaena, whose mothers father had been the previous lord.

God forbid Alicent after being married to Viserys over half of her life, get to decorate her own home- which is kinda traditionally the job of the Lady of the castle, to manage the home. Viserys was a shit King so Alicent had to pull his duties too, doesn’t mean she wasn’t doing her traditional role as well. She probably managed/directed the hanging of those awful tapestries in the first place.

After marrying Car, Ned brought a Septon and Septa to Winterfell and had a Sept built for her despite Starks worshipping the Old Gods for thousands of years. These are the things loving husbands do for their wives to make them feel at home.

Too bad Viserys had to be almost dead for anything reflecting Alicent’s heritage to be brought into a the Castle where she’s lived most of her life.

Alicent can’t hang a few symbols in the Castle but Rhaenyra can try to put whole Strongs on the Driftwood throne. Strongs don’t belong there either.

Also the Seven is one of the most prominent faiths in Westros so it’s not entirely wrong for the symbols of that faith to be displayed in Kings residence. And if Alicent like you said can take care of not only the Queens duties but also a good chunk of the Kings she has all right to decorate HER keep the way she wants. She’s been in that castle for more than 20 years. Viserys is all but dead so his opinions on anything are even more irrelevant than they were before.

And if those nasty tapestries with dragon orgies was them showing their symbolism I’m glade it’s gone.

One thing I will say is that no matter what though is that Nyra’s boys do have a right to the Iron Throne no matter their illegitimacy, but Luke being heir to Driftmark is kind of questionable. In other notes unrelated, it’s not like Baela and Rhaena were being snubbed of their birthrights considering one would’ve been Queen and the other would’ve been the Lady of Driftmark. Which speaking of that the theory that had Rhaenyra won the Dance and all her sons survived that Daemon would’ve had Jace, Luke, and Joffrey killed is stupid 💀. I mean I don’t like Daemon at all but he’s not stupid enough to do that, his daughter would be Queen and then her child would be heir.

What confront did you do in this post? The bad things about alicent decorating the reed keep ia that she did it in a moment where her husband was not able to give his consent, 'no one would say anything if rhaenyra did it with the valiryan god' ofc not because SHE IS A TARGARYEN, the dinasty who rule is targaryen and their symbol need to be show. She is a queen consort, nothing more and yet she act if the reed keep where old town

But Alicent is literally the QUEEN it doesn’t matter if you like her or not but she is the Queen Consort whose husband is ailing like you said. She’s running the fucking small council, she can decorate her home as she likes her house is known for being close with the Faith of the Seven of course she’s gonna show it. Most Targaryens were even devout followers of the faith who probably would’ve been happy to see the religious symbols in their keep. Besides it’s not like Viserys asked Alicent for her consent when he martially r*ped her.

I swear by everything holy that I will stop watching the show completely if they decide to scrap her entirely.

THE POSSIBILITY OF NETTLES NOT BEING IN HOTD.

I'm still not buying it. I don't think they'll go out of their way to cast Silver Denys who's most notable feat is dying because of Sheepstealer and the Cannibal, Alyn of Hull, who's purpose in the narrative at this point is to be burned by Sheepstealer and not include Nettles.

I know a lot of people are trying to say that maybe Baela has taken her place, but I don't think so. They are sending Rhaena away to the Vale for her storyline. Baela has a bigger part in the fighting, but I don't think that after House Velayron loses Rhaenys, Corlys will allow Baela to fight. I think she'll be placed on Driftmark to pacify Corlys and allow for some sort of representation of his loyalty to Rhaenyra to be at her side. At that point, they would have three new dragon riders so she could sit it out. I think that Baela would be a better person to introduce the idea of Addam (and Alyn) as Heirs to house Velayron because she's more politically savvy in this adaptation.

This is also the season where they set up the Battle Nettles participates in, and she was always the last Dragonseed to claim her dragon, and her process seemed to take the longest.

Basically I'm not worried until we know that Jace is gonna die.

Also, if they choose to bring her in season 3, I genuinely believe it's because they are not going to let her be a Dragonseed in the actual sense. She will not be of Valyrian descent because thematically, she'd be removed from the sowing.

Don't get sad if you're anticipating her, and don't get happy if you want her to be removed. It seems very deliberate that she hasn't been announced, but the feat she achieves is being set up.
