⚔️~CARD OF THE DAY - 3/13/24~⚔️

At its core, the Five of Swords is a card about victory. The crow in the foreground stands while others lay lifeless or flee. He's fought the battle and has come out on top.

While in the past this card would bring me a sense of, "What was the cost?" I feel differently now. Today, I feel as though it is an acknowledgment that you finally got the lesson.

Life is all about lessons. It's all about overcoming uphill battles and I think that's what this is calling attention to. You are victorious and that should be celebrated.

You should celebrate.

Take the time today to focus on your accomplishments and how difficult it was to get to where you are now. Others ran away or laid their swords down, but you didn't. You're still here fighting the good fight. And that's something worth admiring. Give yourself the credit you deserve.

🐦‍⬛~CARD OF THE DAY - 3/12/24~🐦‍⬛

When I look at the Five of Wands today, I get a different interpretation than would normally come to mind. Upright it shows the crows moving around each other, seemingly engaged in combat or at the very least in each other's spaces as they carry their wands.

When it is Reversed, I feel the opposite. Instead of carefully moving through each other's spaces, there's almost a feeling of avoidance. Even though they are the same bird, they all carry their own wands, their own fire and magic.

Moving through today, be sure to engage rather than avoid. You're allowed to have differing opinions from someone and you're allowed to have different sparks of creativity and spirituality. Embrace those differences and share them rather than tuck them away.

Because when it comes right down to it, no matter our differences, we're all human in the end. So that means we all have at least one thing in common.

🕊️~CARD OF THE DAY - 3/11/24~🕊️

The Ten of Wands shows a crow flying through the air as he carries the bundle of wands with him. The thing that I'm struck with most when looking at this card is how strong the crow has to be in order to make this happen.

It would be a struggle for sure and you can see that some of the wands are in danger of slipping free of their ties. But he persists and there is strength in that. It is that strength you need to channel moving into this week.

Everyone has their own bundle that they are trying to carry. Ask yourself if there are some wands you can leave behind. Yes, you can shoulder the burden, but you may not have to.

Take the time today to reflect on which wands are worth carrying.

✨CARD OF THE DAY - 1/30/24✨

I know this month I haven't been posting every day. Part of the reason was because I'm recovering from burn out and feeling like I needed a bit of a tarot break.

Of course I've been feeling guilty about it since I kept up with daily draws for so long. Then, just now, I had the Golden Art Nouveau Tarot deck beside me and decided to draw a card.

Which was The High Priestess, the card about intuition and listening to your inner voice. Do not feel guilty about listening to what your body and mind are telling you. If you need rest, take it.

Listen to yourself! If your intuition is telling you something, odds are it's right. What a beautiful and poignant message that I needed to hear today.

I find it interesting that yesterday's card was the Seven of Wands Reversed, but today's card is the Six of Wands Upright.

The crow who is bathed in light and the laurels represents you and your victories. If we are connecting this with the card we drew yesterday, then see this as a reminder that your hard work is being acknowledged.

Your confidence will be found not only in your past accomplishments, but in the knowledge that you have gotten where you are through your own grit and hard work. It may not seem like anyone notices but trust me they have.

You don't need others to measure your self-worth. As long as you stay true to who you are and wield your own power, you'll rise above the rest.

The Seven of Wands Reversed speaks of self-doubt or lack of confidence. When it's upright, the crow is standing triumphant atop the mountain as the others attempt to reach his level.

Reversed, he's watching the opposite happen. He stuck at the bottom as all the others move upward.

Today try to do something to boost your confidence. Try to keep in mind that you have every bit of talent as the others and though you might not be where they are in the process, that doesn't make you lesser than.

That just means you're taking your time and moving at your own pace. Wands are fire and creativity, both of which lie within you. Just because others may be further along, shouldn't discourage you. You'll get there on your own time.

Our worst critic is that inner voice inside our heads. Today release yourself from the bondage of fear and insecurity. In essence, see yourself in a brighter light and give yourself the credit you deserve.

It's easy to say this is the way that I am or accept the harsh words we tell ourselves, but we don't have to do either. Give yourself the same hype and support you would give your best friend.

Also, listen to your intuition today as you may be more open to receiving the messages it's trying to tell.

The Four of Swords is about laying your mind and body to rest. It is about knowing that there are many tasks ahead, but you cannot undertake them if you do not rest first.

When it is Reversed, the need to have a wellness break is even greater. You need to listen to your mind and your body. You need to take care of yourself before your body forces you to take care of it.

Are you really busy or are you finding tasks just so you won't stop for a second and really be in your own silence? Use this morning as a way to ease into the week rather than diving in right away.

Yes, there are tasks to do. Yes, you have responsibilities. But if you don't take a second to listen to yourself, and listen to what your body and mind need, then you're not going to get anything done because you'll be too exhausted.

Don't forget to take care of yourself first.
