Okay so most of my gifs that I was saving for Lee Imagines got deleted! So fucking pissed, but i'm trying to get them back. So with that being said, that's one of the reasons I haven't been uploading. Like I've said before, I've also been busy with school and my new job. I miss being on here all of the time before school. Picking Up The Pieces

I turned the Imagine where Ned’s girlfriend breaks up with him into a fanfic. Hope you enjoy!

Chapter 1

It was almost 9:00 pm which meant the Pie Hole was closing soon. She stood there lying down on her couch staring up at the white ceiling practically counting the seconds until Ned would get home to his apartment next door. They were best friends, but she secretly had a crush on him. He was tall, adorable, but also very sexy, and the most sweetest kindest person she had ever met. Even though they never dated before, she was just glad they had some kind of relationship.

Five minutes to 10:00 pm and still no Ned. She started to worry. Rising from the couch, she threw on her jacket and ran out the door. When exiting her room, she looked over to Ned’s, but saw no lights on. He usually visted her before he got home, just to talk about their day and sometimes he’d even bring left over Pie and Coffee just to hang out for a bit, but tonight something was wrong. She ran down stairs, her hair in a messy bun, and no make-up. It was okay though, Ned had seen her like that before. They were just that comfortable with each other. One time, he even awkwardly told her, “You don’t need to wear makeup, you’re already naturally pretty.”

The lights were still on inside the Pie Hole. She tried the doors, but both were locked.

Y: *knocks on window* Ned???

Appearing from behind the counter. Ned got up off the floor and stood up tall, walking over to the double doors and opening them for her.

Ned: Y/N? What are you doing? It’s freezing outside.

Y: *hugs* I’m so glad you’re okay, i started worrying, because…well, not to sound stalker-ish, but I just know that you usually get home a little after 9 and…you weren’t this time, so i thought something bad happ—

She noticed his face was flushed, his cheeks were wet, and his eyes were little swollen and glassy. Before he went to open the door for her, she did notice he was sitting down behind the counter on the floor, “but why?” She though.

Y: Ned…what’s wrong?

Trying to act like nothing was wrong he, wiped his tears and replied,

Ned: What do you mean?

Y: …..Don’t do that…..

Ned: Don’t do what?

Y: You’re trying to act like nothing is wrong, but i can tell you’ve been crying. What happened? You can tell me.

He started walking towards the back of the counter again. Following behind him, she smelled freshly baked pies and peeked over to the kitchen and saw 3 pies on the counter. Now, she definitely knew something was wrong. Ned only baked pies after work hours when he was stressed or something was bothering him. It was his way of keeping himself busy. Kind of an escape so he wouldn’t have to think so much about whatever it was that was bothering him.

Y: * sits down at the counter and takes his hand* Tell me, I want to help.

Ned looked down at both of their hands and started to tear up. His bottom lip quivered a bit trying to hold back.

Y: *rubs his hands* It’s okay, you can tell me.

Ned: *nods and struggles to speak* She-*swallows* She broke up with me.

Y: oh….oh, honey, i’m so sorry. Why?

Tears still streamed down his face, but he was able to speak a little better.

Ned: All she said was….“We need take a break. See where our hearts are.” I know where my heart is. It’s with her! So, I get the feeling she….she met someone else.

Ned burried his face in their hands that were still entangled together. She could hear him inhaling and exhaling, trying to cry quietly. Sitting there in silence she thought about how Ned would speak of his girlfriend Zoe at times. The things he would say about her. “Zoe was so amazing, Zoe was so sweet,” Zoe was this and that. He treated her like a princess and she repays him like that? She never deserved him, she took him for granted and frankly. And frankly she never really liked Zoe. She was only friendly with her because it meant a lot to Ned that his girlfriend and best friend liked each other. Now she was pissed.

Y: Dammit Ned. You deserve sooooo much better than her. You are the most sweetest man i’ve ever met, and most handsomest man i’ve ever laid my eyes on. *squeezing his hands* You are the guy every girl dreams about marrying, You are the guy that’s always going to be there, YOU— *pauses looking Ned in the eyes* YOU are perfect in every way…….and she fucked up…..she fucked up bad. And whens he realizes that…..hopefully you won’t take her back….i love you Ned.

She had told him before, “I love you” but for litte things. Like when he would bring her a slice of Pie on the house during his lunch time. He always took it as a friend thing, but now, in that moment…..he knew she really meant it.

I’m currently working on Chapter 2, So that’ll be up in a few days. I’ll be sure to tag you ^-^
