Cast Reveal #2! 

Introducing Karli Olson (left) and Yeye Fajardo (right) as the two main characters of the show, Janny Bartley and Mary Perez. 

About Karli: Karli Olson spends her time daydreaming and philosophizing (when she’s not working, of course). She first started acting at age 14, and fell in love with the stage. She is involved in community theater and hopes to act for years to come, but journalism is her dream career and she plans on getting her master’s degree in a few years. Janny’s Diary is her first web series, and she has loved experiencing this new style of acting. 

About Yeye: Yeye Fajardo (pronounced Yay-yay) has acted in several improvisational skits for her homeschool group, and is interested in exploring other artistic opportunities. She is involved with her church’s children’s ministry, and loves spending time with her friends and family when she’s not in school or in church. She is very excited to be acting in this web series and cannot wait to see the finished product. 

About Janny: Janny Bartley lived with her foster family in Painted Post, Idaho, for her entire life, until her uncle showed up and offered her a home in Newton, Oregon. She is determined to become friends with her cousins and her aunt and uncle, and to become friends with her classmates, as well as get perfect grades while she’s at it. She makes private videos to her old foster family, and slowly integrates into making public vlogs. 

About Mary: Mary Perez is a foster child, living with her foster mom Karen and her foster brother Garrett in Newton, Oregon. She wants to be an actress or a nurse, and she has been making YouTube videos for a couple of years now, where she talks about her life and performs long monologues. She is upbeat and bubbly, and becomes friends with Janny almost instantly.

Cast Reveal #1 (and a sneaky #2)! 

Introducing Caleb Kelson (left) and Tate Foshay (right) as Charlie and Kevin Bartley, respectively. 

About Tate: Tate began acting at the age of 10 when he was cast as Linus in A Charlie Brown Christmas. Tate loves anything music or theater related. He has just completed 8 years of piano and is now enjoying private voice lessons at Generations Arts Academy.  Most recently, Tate played the role of Harvey Johnson in a production of Bye Bye Birdie (Generations Theatre Company). 

About Caleb: Caleb began acting as soon as he came out of the womb - he burst out with a flourish and a bow. He is the drum major for his high school marching band, was in Bye Bye Birdie with Tate, and loves making people laugh. In the words of Caleb, he is “literally fake - his whole life is a facade”.

About the Bartley brothers: Charlie and Kevin are the oldest Bartley children, and even though they are twins, they don’t necessarily get along. When their cousin Janny moves in with them, it forces them to reexamine their relationships with their sister, their parents, Janny, and each other.

The story follows them both, as Janny tries to fit in and figure out who she is, and Mary teaches Janny about friendship, injustice, and how to have the best fashion show ever (in her own living room, of course).

We have a fabulous cast and crew, with some familiar faces and some brand new ones, and are very excited to begin filming so we can share this story with you all!
