When they first met, Crowley had to introduce himself by name to Aziraphale and Aziraphale didn't told Crowley his name but Crowley didn't seem to care. Over 6,000 thousand years, Crowley had never seen his Angel like this

Aziraphale is the kindest angel of Heaven (no, Crowley is not biased). But he has lived 6000 years with humans. He has experienced wars, plagues, famines, etc. Seeing what people have done, are doing and will do for their own benefit.

If sacrificing one person could save millions of others, maintaining an already fragile peace, he would do it.

Moments like these were rare, if not painfully rare, and Crowley dared to hope that Angel weren't belong to heaven, Crowley accepts all the dirty work hell made him do, let the Angel be here forever, with him.
