alyssa's aegon lives au?! oh my god i need to know everything about him and his little fambly please <33333333333

Of course!!! So in my fic Aegon survives but Alyssa still dies, which leaves Daemon and Aegon in the care of good queen Alysanne (same as Visenya when she is born a few years later) and they all grow up together, until Daemon marries Rhea in 97 AC and Visenya joins her father at court in 101 AC. Aegon was always sort of the most reasonable of the trio and while he absolutely loves and adores his brother and honorary little sister he really is a big introvert who had rather not get caught up in the intrigues of court and politics, so he stayed away even when he had wanted to marry Visenya and missed Daemon in the years they where apart. Aegon just sorta stayed on Dragonstone after his grandmothers passing in 100 AC and spend his free time traveling across the narrow sea on dragonback. He was only 3 and 10 when he and Daemon parted ways after the older wedding and by the time the brothers reunited Aegon had grown nearly a head and a half taller than the rogue prince and had come to be a man of hulking build in the way Targaryen men rarely were. Aegon had cut his hair short and worn unadorned clothes for the longest time as a young man, as he hoped it had made him look less Targaryen as he always felt he lacked the connection Daemon, Visenya and even Viserys had with their heritage, but by the time he returned from a longer stay in Braavos in 114 AC it had grown long enough to be worn in a pony tail again and Aegon refrained from cutting it again as his new found lover the son of the Sealord of Braavos, Galeo Materys, was quite found of it. In 114 AC Aegon came back to Westeros for the wedding of his younger niece, Rhaenyra, and ended up agreeing to his brother the kings offer to become a member of the small council, a position he would soon resign from after the death of his lover in Braavos at the hands of his own brother Daemon in the following year, an incident that would leave a deep slight on the brothers relationship for the years to come. Aegon left kings landing as well as Dragonstone and would never return. Visenyas sworn shield Ser Lyle Bracken had offered Aegon to make himself at home in his ancestral home, with the tall knights sister lady Barissa Bracken for company and though Aegon did not stay within the hospitality of the odd woman that was the lady of stone hedge for long his time in the Riverlands served to heal his broken heart as he found a friend and companion to many a feast or tourney in lady Myriame Blackwood, who was a maiden of 26 years, with raven black hair, a never wavering smile and eyes that seemed to dance with laughter at all times of the day. It was no surprise when the two announced their betrothal and married under the heart tree of raven tree hall where they would raise their daughters Alyssa and Rhae. If rumor is to be believed Alyssa would be taught in the dark arts of the north by her mothers grandmother old lady Ronna, while Rhae, drawn in by the secrets of her valyrian heritage would seek to master magic of fire and blood.

who’s your latest oc’s Alyssa Targaryen?

I don’t really know a lot about her yet just that she is the only child of prince Aegon (son of Baelon) and his wife lady Myriame Blackwood. I was thinking of who their children should be and what role they should play in the story and I sort of liked the thought that Aegon, since he was so young when princess Alyssa died, only ever got to look into his mothers eyes for the first time at the birth of his own daughter, so that’s how she got her looks… she’ll be a lady in waiting to Visenya during the years before the dance (around 120-129 I think) and she is involved in some witchy shit that’s for sure.

Of course! You know I’m always ready for some infodumping !!

So in the aftermath of the war of succession following the death of king Aegon XX, many lords perished and left the realm in the hands of widows and regents as many lords were to young to rule in their own right. Among the dead where the old lord Gunthor and his heir Raymund Tully as well as lord Stark and his lady wife, leaving young Ronnel Tully and Rickard Stark to inherit the rule over the Riverlands and the North. The rule of Rickard was never in danger as the brother of his late mother, Harlon Mormont, the lord of bear island better known as the Breakskull, lord Tyton Glover, the sullen best friend of the late lord Stark and lord Umber, the Terror of the last hearth, became his regents, and his uncles Torrhen Mormont and Brandon Stark held the wall.

Ronnel, better known as Red Ron for his easily inflamed cheeks, was less fortunate, his grandfather had angered the lords of the houses located in the east of the Riverlands, when he had failed to send support their way, instead prioritizing the conflict with the men of the Westerlands, and as a result the old man, once beloved and praised for his fairness, returned to his seat only to be woken in the same night to hear that his son had been killed by the new lord of stone hedge, Virren Bracken, when an heated argument turned into a duel. At the news it is said that lord Tully fell to his knees and died of a stroke before the tear that escaped his eye even touched the ground.

Ronnels mother lady Lucinda Piper, frozen with grief, did not know how to react when news reached her shortly after that Lord Brackens war host was making way towards Riverrun, collecting enraged lords and smallfolk along the way, his forces growing with each passing day, and as it became apparent to the household and staff of the keep that the young lords Lady mother could not hope to stand a chance against Virren, who was already being praised as the warrior reborn, they instead slit the womans throat, threw her into the surrounding river and left the castle gates wide open, free for lord Bracken to take.

It was only by chance that lord Bennifer Blackwood, unaware of the events that had taken place as he had spend day and night after returning from war at his lady wife’s sickbed, was asked to meet with the lords of the northern most Riverlands, most of whom had not joined Virrens host jet, his own cousin young lord Lyman Charlton, bright with excitement, asking where they shall best meet to ride for Riverrun together. Bennifer who had been lord Gunthors squire and friend, was horrified at his fellow lords actions and promptly left their meeting place to ride all throughout the night and reach Riverrun in the early hours of dawn, where he would sneak into the castle by the secret water passage lord Gunthor had revealed to him in their shared youth, meeting with the old Maester Bennifer the elder, his own uncle for whom he had been named. History claims the men of house Blackwood must have used dark means to communicate with one another for there was no time for ravens to be send, but Maesters agree that it may have been nothing but luck that in the same night Lady Lucinda left her live, Lord Bennifer came to Riverrun and the Maester woke young Ronnel just before the men of the castle could agree what to do with the boy and send him away with his nephew.

Red Ron would spend one and a half year on the run with first Lord Bennifer, his son Ser Alaric and his trusted friend Ser Craigen Ryyger and after the passing of the two elder men only Alaric, a young man himself who felt the death of his father and mentor would have been in vain should Ronnel not become lord of the Riverlands one day, before Red Ron regained his seat and managed to end the everlasting struggles for power among the petty Riverlords, with the help of the Pup of the North as well as Lord Jonrik Royce the regent of the Vale, and the common maid Nesta, who had become the traveling companion of the brooding Ravenlord and his young charge.

how does your long and lovely line of ocs fit into the canon targ dynasty? IM SO CURIOUS!

Okay yes, so, my first targ oc in the this story, that sort of started this whole ass massive family tree and 500 years of drama, Visenya II (born in 86 AC) is the oldest daughter of Viserys I and his first wife, Aella (another oc), the eldest daughter of Aemon and Jocelyn Baratheon, who died giving birth to Visenya and her twin brother Baelon, who died during the birth as well.

Sooo yeah, the line of house Targaryen is sort of split after that into the descendants of Visenya and Otto and the descendants of Rhaenyra and Daemon, thou of course there are some changes to the canon line of targs and there’s also some intermarrying between the two sides.
