Oh boy, its been awhile

Hey, how’s everyone doing? It’s the OG mod here! It’s has been a while since i’ve done anything on this page and i’m sorry! I’m gonna get a bit personal real quick and explain why i have been gone! I think around the time i disappeared, school was starting again and with this, i was falling out of the MMD community already. A family member close to me passed and dropped social media in general for a month or two because of that. Then school was coming to end and i was to graduate, that was a lot of pressure and i had completely forgotten about MMD. I’m willing to pick the page back up though, it’ll be a nice hobby for me. I cant promise how well i will with this and i don’t know i the other mod is still around, but i hope you all understand

A small talk.

Hey everyone, how is everyone's day? Week? Got any plans for the weekend?

I just wanted to have a small chat with you guys on a serious topic.

Recently, February the seventh (02/07/20), to be exact, someone in my school had passed away. He was a couple grades below me, so I didn't know him very well. I did see him around though, and he seemed like a nice and fun person. His death was very shocking to the school, it had shaken a lot of people and tears were she'd throughout the day.

I just want to everyone to know that's it's okay to talk to people. It's okay to feel these ways sometimes but know that someone is, will, can be there for you. I always have open arms. My person account is @all-is-well-for-now . I don't want anyone to suffer alone, I know how it feels. Please talk to me or someone else anytime you think you need too.

This is, without a doubt, my all time favorite Model.She’s still very stylized but looks a little more grounded. The hair physics are more realistic but do great job of avoiding “MMD hair spazzi” The file comes with both the gloved and arm thing-y versions.The face is can also be manipulated at various points. Hello! Nice to meet you I’m Riceballer, You can call me Rice! I’ve been in the vocalodi/utau and MMD community since 2009 and recently took the plunge again after reinstalling mmd last year. I hope to have many more memorable years together.

An apology

Along with the last post being late, I want to apologize for my lack of posts.

School is extremely stressful and I try to put all my attention on it. Along with this, my sleep schedule is constantly changing because of school and I’m never with a consistent sleep schedule. This causes me to forget to pose on my blogs like these.

I know this happens a lot. I post got a couple of weeks and just...Dissappear! I know it’s kind to any of you and that’s why Im upset with myself for doing it.

I would to ask if anyone would like to help run this blog with me! I’m planning on posting more since I have received a nice break that took some school stress off. Please send a message if you’re willing too and I’ll explain some rules and such to a good candidate (I’ll ask questions and such as well)!

I really appreciate your response! I did check to make sure everything was up to date and it all is T.T I'm not getting any error codes, it just crashes as soon as I double click the icon. If u would like to see a video example, I did upload a quick vid showing the issue on my youtube, rice-baller (not plugging my youtube, just desperate to get this fixed) I can't find anything online about mmd just randomly stopping like this before, I've tried everything I know to trouble shoot :/

I never heard MMD just...not working because of MME so I can’t help you. The only thing I can suggest is removing everything (MMD, MME, things that come with both, and stuff related to MMD) and just restarting your computer? I’m not good when it comes to problems of starting MMF and such, so I’m sorry I’m zero help for this!

Maybe someone who follows or see this can suggest or send me something so the user can see. Or you can try searching it up. It seems uncommon but maybe there’s something out there?

MMD stopped working for me a few weeks ago while I was working on some new videos. I tried reinstalling and the fresh install works just fine but when I tried to add MME however, I encountered the same issue. MMD by itself will open, but If I add the MME files it will crash immediately. I would really appreciate some insight because there is no way I will use MMD without effects lol

Hey, sorry for the late reply, I’ve been a bit sick! I’m glad to help and I know the feeling of needing to use MME lmao

Usually when people have problems with adding MME, it’s because either something is missing or something got replaced when it shouldn’t have. I know LearnMMD (a website that has tutorials on bunch of things for MMD. check them out if you’re confused, having problems, want to know how to do something!) have articles with MME.

The 2 that I know about and experience often is the “side-by-side configuration error” and the “missing DLL error”. These two are the most common problems people get. You know you have them when their messages pop up. Here! is an article that helps you fix MME problems.

If none of these are working, please tell me so! I don’t think I’ve heard of the problem where MMD just...crashes! Unless you are getting messages. Make sure you have the MME that fits your computer (specifically the 64bit and 32bit choices) and your MMD. Also make sure you have everything and where they are suppose to be!
