mfw we have one (1) person that isnt a manager working the front because everyone else quit two weeks before Christmas and yet the store STILL rejected my friend’s application for nonspecific reasons despite her being literally walking distance from said store and available most if not all of the hours we needed

Please be kind to retail workers. For the love of all things good in this world, be kind to retail workers. If you're in a position where it's safe for you to do so, step in if another customer is going off on a retail worker. People only behave badly when they think they can get away with it, and a bystander going, "Hey, is that really necessary?" can make a world of difference.

Retail workers, you DO NOT deserve the abuse thrown at you by the elitist, pompous, entitled customers who demand things of you that you aren't paid to do. I'm so sorry people are so cruel and it's wrong.

15 days till Christmas, friendly reminder to make sure you have enough medication to last through the holidays and if you don’t make sure you order it now. You may need refills or have to see your doctor. It’s extremely busy this time of year so give your pharmacy time to get it ready, send faxes, and order the stock in.

i hate this person SO much.

I truly hate to tell you all this, but the reason needle sizes are numbered that way (smaller numbers = bigger needles) is BECAUSE SOME ASSHOLE HAD A 1-INCH DIAMETER CYLINDER AND LABELED HIS NEEDLES' SIZES BY HOW MANY NEEDLES HE COULD SHOVE IN THERE.

Like, 24 24-gauge needles can fit in a 1-inch cylinder. 18 18-gauge needles can fit in a 1-inch cylinder. Wrong and horrible. The worst possible way to measure a needle. Good night.

Something I learned as a pharmacy technician in the short-hand for typing up Rx directions:

OS means “into the left eye” - O is for “ocular” and S is for “sinister”

Sinister means “left” in Latin and I’m in love with that fact
