I'm very impressed with Camagno's draftsmanship here-- I think there is a fluidity and clear imagining of the dynamic, magical elements at play that Tametta's work sometimes lacks. I'm particularly charmed by Wanda's magic hair, which is an effect that very few artists have managed to nail, so far.

my thoughts on Quentin and queerness: I think there's two separate things going on here. First off in my head he is both bisexual and a trans man, but the way he interacts w those two identities are completely different.

I think that as far as being bi/liking men Quentin doesn't necessarily ever Come out to anyone and his queerness in this sense is something that he only makes obvious as a way of rebelling, to piss the right people off for example, he makes it a part of his punkness, and has no discomfort with showing it in That sense. But if he were to actually get a boyfriend i thjnk hed be super uncomfortable actually showing affection and being vulnerable and sensitive because it takes away from his persona and makes him seem Soft. I think it would take him some time to be able to do this and i think that also he would struggle in relationships because of it.

Vs his transness,,, I don't think he would want to be open about being trans at all. This is just my personal headcanon and it may just be me projecting lol but i feel like the idea of people knowing he's trans is Scary because they have something to use against him. I think that his transness should be very tied to his childhood and his relatjinship w his adoptive parents, because I'm imagining them as being super transphobic.

I guess the common theme here is that he fears beung vulnerable, exposing parts of himself that can be used against him.

if marvel really wants to make Billy and Teddy like the big marvel queer characters then maybe they should yknow actually put them in books so instead of them only showing up in pride specials routinely each year the pride specials can be reserved for people like Rictor and Shatterstar who haven't gotten a chance to shine in a while (and still haven't had a pride story for some reason despite being the first most publicized gay kiss in marvel comics) and idk like they deserve to be in books to but theyre also pretty obscure characters and not everyone's gonna get to have appearances all the time.

you know the first marvel pride book wasnt all great but i feel like it was the only book that really... understood the assignment if that makes sense
