THIS!
Could just be looking too hard through my shipper goggles but one scene in Here’s Negan stood out to me as a possible parallel to Caryl / the spin off
It was when Negan was talking to Lucille about her treatment and said something along the lines of “once we have you better I will get us on my bike and take you anywhere you want to go.”
I feel like Negan using his motorbike as a promise of a better life for him and his wife is a nod to Daryl and Carol talking about taking his bike and running away together. Basically the whole concept of Negan having a motorbike and promising the love of his life that they would use it to escape all their problems SCREAMMMMEEDD Caryl to me lol.
They may also revisit it before the end of s11. Negan may finally call Daryl out on his feelings towards Carol and day something like “I could’ve taken my wife on my bike and moved on. I didn’t and now she’s dead and I miss her every day. You can still do that. Don’t make the same mistake as me.”

Can we just talk about the Caryl moment when Daryl was reaching for the pocket knife that he gave to Carol and we got that flashback of his perspective - looking through his eyes at her. The pause and slow of the tone in the music. That was a beautiful moment for me. I rewound that several times. I know it’s the impression for the audience to see that he’s remembering giving the knife to Carol, but it’s that slow motion movie moment of them slowing down the existence of a moment, a memory. The attention to detail in her eyes and his awkward gesture to help her.
TWD said “in case you didn’t see the way Daryl was looking/watching Carol during that walk after an emotional fight - here is a slow motion recap through his eyes. Ya welcome.”
Also take note of Carol’s expressions throughout the episode of things that remind Carol of Daryl and how she points them out. She used the pocket knife he gave her for everything. Even though they weren’t together, it’s like he was there with her for it all, just by the connection of him and that pocket knife. For Daryl, it’s of not having that pocket knife on him “Carol” when he needs it. He couldn’t get back home without it. I’ll repeat that. He couldn’t get back home without it and she couldn’t make a home without it. They need each other and can’t function well in life without each other. “.”

I love seeing the positivity back in the Caryl tag!
Diverged (and the last two episodes, as well) was such a good, quiet, introspective episode. Shows are so scared to slow the stories down and just let us sit with the characters and their inner conflict for a bit (and I can see why when all the whiny fans on Twitter are saying “it’s the woooooorst episode” *pout*). I commend the writers: they had a big obstacle in their plans for the show because of the pandemic and in a very short time, they made the most of it by digging in to these complex characters.
I hope people are starting to see the bigger picture with the Leah episode and how it was necessary for Carol and Daryl’s growing relationship and framing the shift for the audience. After 84 years of small Caryl moments here and there, these two characters and their incredible relationship are finally getting the time and attention they have always deserved.

Some thoughts on Diverged
I don’t know what those reviewers were talking about. This was a great episode. Am I biased because I love Carol? Maybe. Probably. But when I checked the time half way through I was happy there was still 20 minutes left. I didn’t want it to end.
Some of the good stuffs in no particular order below the cut because spoilers:

⚠️ Tad bit SPOILERS. ⚠️ I watched some clips on YouTube and I’ve gotta say this was the episode I was most excited for in the bonus episodes. I was hoping we’d get a big fight (“Find Me”) and then I was hoping we’d get to see them process the fight, their feelings for each other, and what their friendship means to each other. From what few scenes I saw, I can definitely deeply feel Carol’s emotions. Feeling angry and sad that she might have lost her best friend for good and thinking without him there isn’t anything for her to come back to; to come back “home” for. It’s interesting they both say the same line. Comically, I wanted to interpret it as a statement they’re saying to each other. “See you later, asshole.” Like hold up, we ain’t finished yet. That’s just an overstretched thought though. Can I say I really love hearing Carol curse more?! And who curses like that? Daryl. The writers have a gift of giving us loyal Carylers just enough crumbs to hold us over for bigger moments. We got some little moments in this episode. I haven’t seen the whole episode, but from what I can interpret; I think it’s beautiful how much space they took up in each other’s thoughts while being away from each other. Daryl was definitely surprised to see her. Thinking he might have ran her off for good, but nope. She knows what she wants, at least she’s starting to find more clarity I think. I really want more, but maybe Angela has a plan? I hope so. I’ll never give that up (hope) until I’m proven otherwise. Side comments: The way Carol didn’t really acknowledge Ezekiel more in the convo with Jeri because her mind and heart was on her friendship with Daryl. The fact Jeri knows how much Daryl means to her. I just want that special long hug for Caryl. I want their friendship to heal because romance or not they are soulmates.

If Daryl does return to AZ. Wouldn’t it be beautiful if he looked all over for Carol and then finds Dog who leads him to Daryl’s room where Carol is sleeping on his couch cuddled in his blanket or poncho with her nose partially covered (hinting she fell asleep smelling his scent on his blanket to help her fall asleep). Bonus if she’s holding the double capper. Dammit, TWD - give me Fan-fiction feels!
Extra dabble: He takes a moment careful not to wake her and processes the moment. He goes to cover her up (or) moving a strand of hair away from Carol’s face and she stirs awake. Or Dog watches his dad stare at Carol and he goes and wakes her up. Her eyes slowly flutter open and she realizes the man who she was concerned no longer wanted anything to do with her is now standing in front of her cracking a slow smile. She smiles in response to her observation. “I didn’t know if you were coming back.” Of course they’d give us a joke. “I came back for Dog.”

TWD 10x18 “Find Me” Review
I watched. Not only did I watch, I watched it twice in a row starting at the ungodly hour of 5AM, and immediately after that sat down to organize my thoughts. How do I feel, you might be wondering? Pretty fucking tired, but that’s from getting up much earlier than I’m used to in order to be as efficient as possible for you guys (which apparently did not work because here I am publishing this 9 hours later). Concerning the episode, I feel just as confident about Caryl as I’ve always been, however that is not without having to come to terms with a couple of things. First of all, even though we know how Daryl’s and Carol’s story ends, the road to get there is not going to be smooth or comfortable. It may even feel hopeless at times, which is exactly what we are meant to feel now. Second, Daryl is not (necessarily) the character we’ve painted him to be all these years.  There are other layers to him that we can like or dislike, but ultimately they will lead us to what we want eventually. Parts of this episode were pretty jarring (you know which ones I’m talking about). Parts of it were god damn beautiful and very telling if you pay close attention.

I honestly don’t care what I hear. I will never not believe in Caryl. That’s my ship and I’ll always be loyal. Daryl and Carol are both incredibly stubborn. Negan got to Daryl with “your girlfriend” like announcing that observation. If Negan and Carol go on a trip together, what better person to shed light on the perspective of her feelings for Daryl. She’s lost people she cared for, she married a fantasy to cope with reality. Makes sense to me that she runs from him because she would not survive losing him in life. With no one else really there to keep her planted but Daryl, if something happens to her rock, what raw emotional turmoil would she sink into? Not saying she couldn’t survive without him, she could. I’m just pitching a few opinions.
These new caryl episodes are gonna be so good
We’re going to cry but we’re going to be happy about it

It really does suck but when you think about it: soldiers have to do some crazy stuff that they usually mentally process (or never process) on their own. They never talk about their wars with anyone. I think this shows us how much stuff she keeps in because she either can’t talk about it or she doesn’t want to bring anything up and in the open. I wanted to see it but this is my reasoning for why we didn’t see it. Who knows. Maybe when we finally give up on it they’ll give it to us out of the blue.
Just another day where the hard truth is that Carol still hasn’t told anyone what happened at the grove and now there’s a 99.99999999% chance she never will and that’s some bullshit.
