A Clandestine Return

Ok, so straight up I had planned on abandoning ‘Clandestined Occurrences’. The weirdest thing about it is that I didn’t start hating this story or anything. When I was originally writing this fanfic all of my notes were on paper, I was creating flow charts & maps. I was very invested into this plot. It’s been so long that I genuinely cannot remember the exact reason why I just threw all those notes away, but I did.

Last year I reread all my old stories. With every story I read I would remember how much I had loved it. I had ignored my writing for so long that rediscovering all these plot points & drama I had written was refreshing in a way.

I don’t have my original notes so I’m kinda starting from scratch. Since I don’t have access to what my original thoughts were I have to analyze the completed chapters and repiece the story.

I have though about ‘CO’ alot these past few years, but the task had felt too daunting at the time so I kept putting it off. But last year I was dealing w/ alot of stress and used writing as an outlet. It just felt so good to write again.

Like, I don’t want to promise anything. I’ve promised a lot of things in my life and a lot of it I ended up shying away from it or fumbling the bag. I feel nervous getting my or anyone else’s hopes up. But what I will say is that once I got back to typing, ideas for this story flowed and knowing that I still can craft a story has been such a big comfort for me.

I had edited all the chapters in one big bunch back-to-back just so that if I did back out on writing another chapter, at least I could be content with the fact that I polished the few chapters I had published.

As I stated on the notes for CH 12, I have edited all the prior chapters. I dunno how many readers will return to the story, but for the few that do I really hope the changes made have improved the reading experience.

Welp. I think that’s it for now.
