phoenix is the one who helps you with all the paperwork and gives you much needed pep talks before all your trials!

phoenix, apollo and athena are always there for you during trials! during your first few trials, phoenix is the one by your side. but later on, apollo and athena join you as well and you switch around who your partner is for you current case

after every trial won, all five of you get invited to a bowl of ramen by phoenix, to celebrate your victory! and you never miss a victory celebration!

outside of work, you often get roped into trucy's magic show and need to help her out with her tricks! athena is relieved that as the newbie, you're now the one trucy asks for help, instead of her…

trucy also loves to gossip with you in secret, telling you about everything that happened before you joined the agency!

you get to know everything about the three prosecutors related to the other three lawyers at the wright anything agency! and you can't help but wonder if you'll have a prosecutor rival as well some day…

person whos been forced to consider her gender for the first time. not even in a gender-questiony way, she's just suddenly forced to consider the fact that people see her as a woman and that affects how they treat her

so when rei treats her like a man for the first time in her life, she sees how different it is and things just. kinda start to unspool in her mind. the treatment from everybody ever is ENTIRELY DIFFERENT from when they see her as a woman, and it's frustrating

like people respect ryutaro more. they listen to his opinions. but the only thing that's changed is his appearance. just. auchi hates taro but in an entirely different way than he hates susato. auchi looks down at taro because he's from the countryside and a bumpkin and whatever but still sees him as an equal opponent. someone on the same level as him. if he defeats this man then he's won glory in his eyes

auchi just doesn't even CARE about susato. he sees her and goes who the fuck even are you who let a little girl in here "never before in my life have I felt so frustrated at having been born into this body" indeed cuz i'd want to scream!!!

susatos thing is about having to change yourself i think. she’s so mad because she can’t be accepted as herself.

ryutaro changes his outfit and all of a sudden he can stand in court and be a lawyer and shout at the prosecutor he hates so much. and if you add susahao into it as well he can also only court haori openly as a man as well and that ALSO must be frustrating

theres probably more layers to it if susato isnt cis but also isnt a man. she can be susato or he can be ryutaro but she cant be both. but if he wants to have a career he has to be ryutaro ALWAYS and its miserable because she'd be squishing a part of herself down, but he doesnt want to NEVER be ryutaro because ryutaro is a part of him. both parts of him need room to breathe.

but as it is… she can be accepted as susato or he can be accepted as ryutaro and there is no room for them to coexist. and. that’s a horrible thing to put on a 16 year old. like susato is in. 10th grade?? 11th grade???? based on current standards like, this is when youre supposed to be figuring out Who You Are. but no she’s backed into this corner. and it's awful

she can be a polite demure judicial assistant or he can be a dashing loud lawyer. but just. pretending to fit into only one of those is suffocating.

I know a lot of people in AA fandom love Narumitsu/Wrightworth (an understatement). And I do too, but in a lot of ways it feels like Phoenix, in attempts to reach Miles for many years gaslighted himself into loving him

Phoenix (speaking about his trilogy characterization) is a messed up person. He's a kind person generally and has good intentions, but there's a lot of self-aggravation in regards of his responsibility towards other people. Given that and, well, the entirety of 2-4 it becomes obvious that he's really not honest with himself, with speaks in favor of the point I made

It doesn't mean that nrmt is a bad pairing/not canon/problematic, it's just that this implication may provide an interesting perspective in developing Phoenix's genuine feelings towards Miles, especially considering the other way around is more prevalent in fanon

Apollo had been extremely busy with work since he moved to Khura'in. He had so many clients, all of their faces blurred together. His hair grew long since he had no time to cut it anymore. It was as if he had aged 10 years in a single one. But today was his day off. And he would finally see his friends again. He would finally see Klavier again.

Apollo fell asleep during his flight to Japan. The movie he was watching got into his dream. In it he and Klavier were in an old style kitchen with bricks painted white. He sang that old soft song to him. Slow down he said.

Apollo knew he couldn't do that. At least he couldn't allow himself to. But when he returned to the country where he spent 20 years of his life he couldn't help but smile when seeing all the people he loved.

Time moved too fast for him sometimes. He couldn't fit all the things he had to do in a single day. All his responsabilities. But that day, time stopped just for him.

They hung out at the Wright Anything Agency of course. Trucy and Klavier braided his hair, Trucy with expertise and Klavier with a video tutorial on his phone.

Later Athena held a mirror up to Apollo's face. Blushing from shame, Apollo realized none of the braids were his style at all... He looked ridiculous!

But Klavier said he looked cute, still holding his phone. Apollo quickly snatched it from his hands before he could post the picture he took..
