Me immediately after finishing Fellow Travelers: damn, Hawk kinda did this to himself
Me after reflecting on Fellow Travelers for several days: Hawk is actually the greatest victim of all because he's had shame so deeply ingrained in him that he's essentially unable to overcome it. The show demonstrates just how sinister internalized homophobia can be because it can ultimately lead you to ruin your own life and opportunity for happiness because you're so scared to display your true self. The beautiful nuance of the show is that it is true that Hawk is responsible for his own fate, but he is also blameless compared to the system that led him to believe that it's better to be miserable and selfish than to love another man openly.
I’m only on episode 3 but I’m a tumblr girlie so of course I know all the spoilers ANYWAY I LOVE THEM SO MUCH I don’t know how I’m going to survive this show pray for meee
i have to get over you / i have loved you my entire life you were my great consuming love
Does anyone have a boot of Jason Mraz/Sara Bareilles in Waitress? TIL there’s like 4-5 that exist and I thought I had at least one but I only have either of them separately 😭
You really should turn on replies on your posts if you want pepper to answer your questions. Regarding the Venji picture, it looks like the promotional images they took and s not out for the second season. I think we saw that image with text promoting the show even if we didn’t actually get a scene on the bleachers/benches like that. It’s been a while since I’ve watched the show so I don’t exactly remember if they had one or not.
I don’t have a copy of the picture saved to share with you, sorry. It shouldn’t be too hard to search for on here especially if you look through the images and gifs that @whattarush made.
Thanks for answering! Sorry, didn’t realise my replies were off 🤔
Hmm, I might dig deep into the LV socials and see if it can find it there. They’re so adorable & I miss them!
Reading an old interview with Taylor Zakhar Perez and oh my gosh we are the same. I love him so much. Hope he gets to do a musical movie at some point.
no but seriously, as a reader, one thing i love about the availability of the rwrb book and the movie is you get to read and watch it alternately with the same smile from ear to ear. oh you want a slowburn version? let's read the book! oh you want the fanfic-paced version? let's watch the movie! the same exact feeling of excitement, giddiness, and cheesiness can still be felt whenever you reread or rewatch it. alex and henry of the book and movie are perfect enough, what more can you ask for? plus if you'd really think it over, it doesn't matter how you want to consume the material, because it all depends on how you want to relive the moment. let people enjoy their silly little pink book together with its silly little gay movie!!!
