I've been reading the Mon Chéri CoCo manga, and a lot of the cute outfits and CoCo's hairstyle remind me of Diva Starz, especially with how CoCo's hair is in two puffy blonde pigtails.
It's funny when you think about it. I found out about Mon Chéri Coco when I was watching a video about lost anime, and the thing it reminds me of, Diva Starz, is similar to lost media itself. The Diva Starz site itself no longer exists, and only some webisodes and a few flash games remain of it online on a few random websites. It makes me wonder if the people who preserved these Diva Starz games anticipated the official site disappearing one day.
If only the Mon Chéri CoCo anime was preserved this way and posted online.

I think it's crazy that an anime can just disappear and be completely inaccessible. This anime I'm interested in, "Mon Chéri CoCo," has just disappeared into thin air. So many things from it can be found online, like it's opening, old newspaper TV adds, merch, etc, but the actual show is just gone. It makes me wonder if the shows from my own childhood will actually be lost as well.

Mon Chéri CoCo is an anime from the 1970s about a half French, half Japanese girl named Coco who tries to become a fashion designer. The anime is not available online and is now considered to be lost media, as nobody seems to have copies of it.
The opening song and one insert song is the only footage of it available online (that we know of).
I'm trying to draw awareness to the show in hopes that someday someone with copies of it will come forward and share it. Someone out there probably recorded it on tape back when it aired on TV.
