Here we have Cocomama's Freetime Sewing Machine Conversion that creates her Freetime Quilts.

This works the same as the loom I just posted.

After about a Sim hour, you will find a random quilt in your sim’s inventory.

I enabled LiveDrag for the quilts so that you can drag it straight from your Sim's Inventory to a wall.

While sewing you will get an Inspired Buff. At the end you will receive a Confident Buff for finishing your work, your Sim's new quilt (accompanied by a notification), as well as a small fabricator skill increase if you have the Eco Pack.

I am pretty sure that you will need Snowy Escape for this to work.

I think the biggest issue with this and the loom is that occasionally they will be interrupted by other sims and forget to finish the project. And because this doesn’t work with recipes/crafting, but rather vending machine tuning, it is not resumeable.  It doesn’t happen all the time for me, BUT just in case, I have a work space for my sims so others won’t bother her during a project.

I've recently started playing a Historical/Fantasy save and needed more stuff for my sims to do. I came across Snowtato's Loomputer which was soooo awesome and started to brainstorm about how to make this an actual loom.

This loom works off of the Loot Action from the Snowy Escape's Vending machine, which means that I'm pretty sure you'll need Snowy Escape to make it work (but I could be wrong).

Your sim will "Weave on the Loom" (Computer typing animation) for about a Sim-Hour, and then a random Rug or Tapestry will be placed in your Sim's inventory. You will get a custom inspired buff while weaving, a confident buff at the completion of the project, and a small Fabrication Skill increase.

The Rugs and Tapestries are all Medieval themed. There are 10 rugs and 10 tapestries included in the Zip folder.

The rugs and tapestries are sellable. They are also Live Drag Enabled so that you can drag them straight from your inventory onto your walls or floors.

I also made a second loom that will make Snowtato’s Ancient Wall and Floor Tapestries. You MUST download her tapestries for this to work. These tapestries and rugs will appear in your sim’s household inventory at the end of weaving.

I'm not a modder at all.. I kind of just stumbled into getting this to work. I hope all you historical Simmers get some use out of it!!

Just a little note...

This Head Wrap Is Everything by MM

I started off creating this sim (1st pic) wearing Dachs @sclub-privee‘s Hair N4 which I had already featured on another sim. So, @monstermadnessworld​‘s head wrap which is truly amazing was my next move. I really wanted to try it out badly. Imagine how happy I was to discover that it was a match with Chocolate City’s finest @ebonixsimblr​‘s Hanner Top. This Head Wrap really is everything.

The colours for both items are really beautiful. The orange dress was created by All About Style which seemed to match this color of MM’s Head Wrap quite nicely. The Ganga Hand was created by the brilliant @bebebrillits4cc (one of my fav realistic CCs). The Bounce Earrings and the Sunburst Earrings were both created by @leahlillith.

When I’m building things I always have these crazy ideas that pop into my head that are beyond my personal ability to turn into a reality custom content wise. For example; take these vintage arcade machine decorations that monstermadnessworld converted from TS2 to TS4.

Wouldn’t it be cool if some creative custom content creator turned these from just decorative into a computer that only has the “play games” option, and didn’t require you to sit down in order to play them them. 

I’ve seen people turn bushes into toilets, computers into typewriters, turn the gigantic microscope into a regular one you sit at a desk with, and the cooler into a vending machine, so it must be possible some how to do what I am thinking, 

Tell me if this were done you wouldn’t want it in your game? I know I would.

Another Nouk Conversion This time by way of Aikea Guinea!

I saw her conversion of the Nouk's Afro Knot Hair for Sims 3 and loved it! I used Aikea Guinea's headband, Nouk's Afro Knot and Maxis' girl braids that were converted to adult by Esmeralda.

I used Maxis' hair textures and colors.

I left the headbands simple, please feel free to recolor.

Oh.. And this hair is hat compatible.

Nouk’s FroHawk

Well guys, I tried as hard as I could to make the the original cornrows work, but they just didn’t look right. They kept floating above the scalp :P

The original depended heavily on alphas, and so I had to split this into a primary hair (no alpha) and a hat accessory (alpha layer). Although the hair looks good by itself, the accessory adds a little extra texture. Hopefully someone will retexture the head and add some pretty braids, but it’s kind of beyond my skill set at this point.

I made a pillbox type purse for my Operetta sim. I can’t believe how much work went into making a simple little purse, but it turned out pretty nice.

Frankenmeshed a dress and blazer for my Clawdia Wolf Sim and made some recolors.

note about the striped dress: The striped pattern dress works well on the CAS bodytypes, but if you get crazy with boobs the lines will no longer be straight.

UPDATE: I fixed some stuff that I missed the first time I uploaded this. Please re-download this dress and ditch the other one.
