when someone says "why would you want a physical copy of that? you can just stream it" i physically recoil. a feeling of dread comes over me like an evil spirit just passed through my body
it's so befuddling to me when people use "freak" as an insult, like. to me it;s a term of endearment almost. most of my favorite ppl are freaks and weirdos <3

Happy 90th birthday to actress, dancer, author, and Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe winner Shirley MacLaine, born on April 24th, 1934 in Richmond, Virginia. ❤
Photos of Shirley from 1955 when she was making her screen debut at the age of 21 in the Paramount Pictures/Alfred Hitchcock mystery comedy The Trouble with Harry. In a 2020 interview with Variety, Shirley spoke about working with Hitchcock in her first film: "He wouldn’t eat a meal without me. I gained 25 pounds on that movie. I enjoyed it as much as he did. He would do pictures according to wherever the location was in the world, according to the restaurants in that location. And there were some very good restaurants in Vermont, because it was a destination place for the beautiful trees. We would talk, and he would tell me stories, and he would get very sophisticatedly cynical. And I would think it was funny, and he would be glad that I got it. It was a very strange comedy, and I was just being myself."
Happy Shakespeare Day, folks! Here's a little something I recorded recently — 'Under the Greenwood Tree' from As You Like It, set to a new tune what I done wrote. I hope you do like it...
