How Kakashi's mental health negatively effected his strength and why he was getting stronger and stronger throughout the story.

Have you ever wondered why Tsunade was surprised that Itachi defeated Kakashi and was so angry that she scolded him for losing?

That's because Tsunade personally knowing Kakashi's power level as a Shinobi and that he shouldn't have lost that fight ... Then what happened?!.

Aside from the things I explained in the second half of this post, Kakashi was actually rusty, after Hiruzen got him out of Anbu and before he gets team 7, Kakashi's mental health was at it's lowest, he lost the Anbu missions which despite not being good for him and was actually making his depression worse, it's was the only thing that was keeping him busy, so now he had too much free time, he was failing all of the students he got and apparently he wasn't being sent to S or A ranked missions and according to his own statements he stopped training too

And here in his fight with Zabuza he states that it has been so long since he had a fight like this

And here he once again confirms that he hasn't had a fight like this since he left Anbu

Now, remember when Kakashi was teaching team 7 to walk on trees and was explaining chakra control? Kakashi explained that the physical AND mental energies combine to form chakra.

And this is why having a bad mental health can effect the Shinobi's overall strength greatly.

Then Kakashi gets team 7 and slowly things starts to get better gradually especially in Shippuden when he tells Naruto this

And then he got to meet his father and forgive him and know that because of it his father too can now move on and can finally join his mother.

And then during the war he got the chance to properly say goodbye to Rin, Obito and Minato and then later they even get Sasuke back.

He finally gets to move on.. even the Sharingan that was a constant reminder of his pain and failures was gone. When he says "As of today Kakashi of The Sharingan is no more" it holds a much more deeper meaning than just losing the Sharingan. "Kakashi of the Sharingan" was the man who had the weight of the whole world on his shoulders, who was always burdened by his guilt, his failures and everything he lost, that sad broken man who used to be called "Kakashi of the Sharingan" is no more. The new Kakashi gets to have a new beginning with all of the friends and precious people he still has, who has filled the hole in his heart, in a new era of peace, the peace that they all fought so hard to get and now they finally have. And this is why Hokage Kakashi is much much more stronger than he ever was. The current Kakashi has a perfect mental energy combined with a perfect physical energy (especially after losing the chakra drain of the Sharingan and the great toll it used to put on his body) and he is even training and learning so many new powerful Jutsu and inventing new ones like it's stated in Kakashi Retsuden. The new Kakashi finally gets to use his full potentials without all the emotional baggage that used to hold him back 🥺❤️

I miss you guys too. A lot. I miss writing and feeling proud of putting work into the world for others to view.

I’m juggling two jobs and trying to improve my life. And yet my life keeps falling apart. Things will seem good and then they go to shit again. It’s funny really.

I will say I’ve been binge watching Naruto because I’m in a depressive episode so I want to write more naruto related things (among other anime things hehe)

Shisui commission pt 3

@albino-otaku commissioned me again for some lovely headcanons of shisui and his wife during the holidays.

Shisui loved the holidays, he loved the joy that everyone had and that spread around the entire village. He loved seeing people buy gifts for their loved ones, and watching them get wrapped in the stores. Shisui always made sure to spoil Y/N as much as he could, he knew the cost didn’t matter and it was the thought of the gifts, but he wanted to spoil his girl.

His favorite part of Christmas is decorating with Y/N, making their home really light up and feel even more homey. Shisui does all the light hanging and Y/N makes everything look pretty as she does with every other aspect of their life. He loves spending a few hours together with his wife, decorating and arranging the tree and just singing very off key to christmas music.

Y/N always makes sure to put a sprig of mistletoe up over the door so that everytime Shisui comes home, they have to kiss. She knows it’s a little silly, especially for guests, but it keeps their marriage fun and it’s a nice way to greet Shisui everyday. Shisui laughs whenever he sees Y/N putting it up. “Baby, you could just kiss me, you don’t need mistletoe for that.” “Yeah but this is fun.”

Shisui makes sure to make his famous hot chocolate and takes Y/N on a stroll around the village to look at the pretty lights. “This is my favorite part of the year, it’s always so pretty out.” “You’re prettier, always will be.” Y/N always gets home, completely blushing from head to toe. Shisui always compliments her and makes her feel so loved and cared for.

When they begin to try for a baby, Y/N wraps the positive pregnancy test and puts it under the tree. She’s been hiding her symptoms from him for a few weeks because she really wants it to be a big surprise for him. It’s a bit cheesy and cringe, but Y/N can’t wait to see his face when he opens it and sees the two little lines.

Shisui loves celebrating both the classic new year and the lunar new year. Both mean a lot to him celebration wise. One is the start fresh and make new plans for the new year with his wife, the other is his culture that he wants to continue to celebrate to pass down to his children. He believes in all of the classic superstitions, like do all your cleaning the day before and do none the day of or you’ll sweep away your bad luck, wear red for good luck and he definitely passes them down to their children.

Y/N spends a lot of time carefully picking out presents for Shisui, she wants to make sure that he’s going to love opening every single gift under the tree. Y/N wraps them with care and fastens them with ribbon and a bow, writing out cute cards “to my husband”. Y/N has to wrap their kids presents as well, Shisui doesn’t have time to wrap and he’s not great at it, he actually pays Itachi to wrap Y/N’s otherwise she’d end up wrapping her own gifts as well. Shisui does write his own tags as well, carefully scrawling out “to my beautiful wife” It makes Y/N’s swell.
