Once again I sighed, frustration taking over my head as I runned my fingers through my hair. I had been working on a new song for weeks, no sleeping, eating like shit and relaying only on cigarettes and whisky to survive the work process, but everything seemed useless, everything that I came out with sounded mediocre. I needed more, nothing was enough and that hideous melody kept replaying on my mind over and over. It was a broken song, a simple combination of notes that had taken over everything I did. I just didn't seem to be able to get over it and the repetition of this process got me totally exhausted.

I heard a knock on the door and, after a quick answer, Leellamarz came in quietly, almost as if any sound he made would break my inexistent emocional stability and I would suddenly go mad. I took a long breath and turned around to face him.

- "Damn, bro, you really look like shit" - he tried to keep a neutral expression but he was pretty surprised looking at my state. I couldn't blame him, I had been on that room for a couple of days now, and even when I was away I was still working at home, at some point that shitty routine started to show on my whole self - "Why don't you take a break? I can continue from here. Get some sleep, eat, go out a lil' or somethin' but clear your head a bit or you'll go insane in here" -

I opened my mouth trying to argue with him, but there were no excuses, he was right, I needed to get away at least for a day, I wasn't making any progress like this.

- "Fine" - I sighed once again and got up, leaving the studio. My body was begging me to get some sleep, but hunger came first, I stopped on a caffe near the studio and got in hoping to get a quick iced tea and something sweet. I was about to place my order but then... it was then when I saw her. My chest felt full as never before, she was by far the most beautiful woman in the place. The way her messy hair fell on her shoulders, her warming eyes, that half smile decorating her face making her seem so lively, she was like a light in the middle of a dark room. I couldn't take my eyes off her, she faced me, our eyes met and suddenly the monotonous melody taht kept replaying in the back of my head became an overwhelming symphony. It was a new song, a new feeling, a thousand instruments playing as my heart skipped a beat and an electric feeling traveled across my whole body. She seemed as besotted as me and for a short second it was just the two of us in the world and the melody on the back was our song. Her cheeks turned bright red as she looked away trying to compose herself with a quiet cough and I just couldn't imagine how she could be even cuter than this.

- "Welcome! what can I get for you?" - her soft voice felt like the lacking instrument that the song needed. Just then everything fitted perfectly, it sounded heavenly. Still inside this dreamlike trance I tried to say something, but the only thing that got out of my mouth was a whisper.

- "It's a symphony... it's you, you are my song" -
