Sympathy wasn't something she was used to. Not that she had the opportunity to be around many people anymore, and most of her human life was all but a haze at this point. But still, the kindness he attempted to express softened something dormant inside her. It didn't dampen the excitement she was feeling though. No, she was more than ready to explore more than what she'd been permitted to at this point. She'd gone from one cage to another with Eric's damn possession of her to honor his beloved maker. He was overly protective in her view point. Trying to keep her safe from a little too much. "Yeah." I grinned in spite of myself. "Please? I promise I'll behave, I just want... to see more. I won't get you into any trouble." Hopefully. It wasn't something she could exactly guarantee, because she wasn't fully aware of the way things worked anymore, but she would at least try. Jason seemed like someone nice to know. There wasn't really any worry in her head that he'd get her hurt or worse. "But we have to go quick before they get done with their meeting or whatever."
โ€œWait, youโ€™re telling me that you were made by Godric? You donโ€™t seem loyal to him like Ericโ€ฆโ€

"I've only obeyed because my nature forces my hand. Eric loves that monster, and once so did I, but he ruined that rather quickly when I set off his temper. What has you so curious about my loyalties?"

The way he described things like it was some sort of absent father making his return to his child's life had her expelling a soft laugh again. This one was a funny one, his nerves were like an infectious dose of joy that had been foreign to her for centuries now. Not that she could explain why for the life, or lack thereof, of her. Her fingers danced against the underside of the bar's edge as she thought of the best way to respond. Eric had been trying to feed her with actual knowledge, but her reception to the methods was low. "You should be..." Were the first words that left her lips. All to quickly, that smile dimmed with a weight of sadness. "I loved him once. When I was human. And he loved me. But I rejected him, this life... It made him- angry. It's a side of Godric that diminished as time passed, but I was ordered to seclusion. For my... protection. I'm a bit of a problematic child, their words. Not mine." Dispelling the thoughts, she shook her head causing raven locks to bounce against her shoulders before finding her gaze on the vacant throne. "If he's nice and trying. She's lucky. So's your sister." Peeking back over her shoulder to Jason, Willow slipped from the counter before glancing around for Pam. With the lack of her security present while Eric and the others dealt with their super secret meeting that excluded the pair of them, she grinned back at the man. "Enough about that though." Leaning in she lowered her voice enough that hopefully the chatter in Eric's office would mask her next words. "What do you say we get out of this club? I'm tired of my new cage. You can show me the modern world, and I can sneak us out the front."

"A... Fanger?" The word seemed foreign on her lips, but she wasn't about to question it too much. A lot of things were foreign to her in this new world Eric drug her into from her old home. But judging by the quickened pulse rate and the sheepish expression this man wore he wasn't much of a threat. Just nervous. "And this girl... You like her, I presume?" Shaking her head softly she offered him a light smile after expelling a feathery sigh. "In a sense... She's not wrong. We're compelled to follow their orders, I couldn't tell Godric no if I wanted, but our emotions, while linked to them, they're not set to love inherently. Eric had a different experience with Godric than me so love wins out where he's concerned... Is the one you speak of- Is her maker cruel or kind? The one dating your sister." Her fingers curled around the counter she sat upon in the empty Fangtasia bar as she leaned forward towards him.

Stuck with candles and the screaming memory of my past, I find no solace here. No release from the torment he instilled. Their memories dance through the darkened halls begging me to join in their ghostly antics, and though nothing would give me such pleasure. Iโ€™m bound to this place between life and death. Limbo of the mind, body, and soul. A monster walking this earth, and yet Iโ€™m too frightened by death now to sink into its welcoming arms. For what afterlife truly awaits a creature such as I?

"And why should I trust another prison warden?! You claim to be a sibling, and yet here you are willing to keep me in these crumbling walls same as he. You're no better than Godric, Mister Northman, I'd rather go back into my starved stupor!" -------------------------------------------------- Willoughby Kettwood, was a bright young Victorian girl with her entire future ahead of her. Her jubilant personality, looks, and hopeful outlook captured Godric's attention while he moved through her village. The stranger struck Willow as odd, due to his nocturnal lifestyle, but she fell nonetheless. Willow would gush about the joys of her newfound relationship to her sister and confidant, Delphi Kettwood, but alas, all good things must come to an end. Godric had reach the end of his ability to stay stagnant in the village without causing alarm or suspicion, and asked for Willoughby to run away with him. Apprehensive, the young lover told Godric that she had feelings for him, but not strong enough to warrant her abrupt departure from the life she knew. Godric, desperate to cling to this fountain of hope and human ray of light in his dark nights, began telling her of all the things he could offer her. Eternity together, a new family, and things she could only dream of. But the more wild the promises became the more determined she was not to go with the man at all. Telling him that his presence was now making her uncomfortable, and he should 'seek help', Willow made her way back to her home in the middle of the night. But by the time she got back, Godric had already beat her to the home, and had a horrific surprise waiting for her. Her mother, father, and sister were all captured and bloody, but still barely alive at the base of the steps to her home, with the man she'd turned down lurking nearby with the evidence of his part in the gruesome scene dripping from impossibly sharpened teeth and over his chin. It was a sight straight out of a nightmare, or some grotesque novel made to keep you awake at night, and Willow was begging for it all to end. Saying she was sorry, he could take her, just let them live, but Godric only toyed with the idea, saying he could easily do that, help them heal and recover, but the damage was already done, and he had a point to prove. With moves so fast her human eyes couldn't perceive them, Godric had knocked Willoughby to the ground and snapped the bone in her leg clean in two to prevent her from running. Incapacitated and weakened by the man's actions, she watched helplessly as one by one in slow, monstrous ways, Godric ripped her family away in front of her. 'If I can't have you, my pet, no one will. You did this. Remember that.' His words echoed in her mind, and she thought it was over, but what came next was the copper and metallic taste of a thick sanguine liquid pouring from his wrist forced to her lips. 'While you sit in this stone cage, alone, for eternity.' The rest of his thought purred against her ear, and just like that... Everything went black. The next night in the rose garden, Willow dug her way out of the ground to find herself completely alone, confused, and with no clue why she was feeling or experiencing the things she was. Only guess and ideas she was forced to form on her own. The smell of blood overwhelming her, once she had her bearings, had fangs thrusting out from her gums with a quick hiss that startled herself. Vampire... For the next decade or so, Willow figured out a way to survive, alone, in her isolation. Thriving off the people who came in search for her, her family, and the people she'd kept from returning ever again. Crying the blood she stole from caramel colored eyes practically every night in disgust from what she'd became. Around the time Godric began feeling his conscience, he came back to his hidden prodigy, and began helping her as much as he could allow himself from behind the sting of her actions towards the returning monster. Keeping her secluded to the crumbling home, that he'd offered to fix, but the gesture had been met with such
hostility he'd told her to live in the hole he dug since she was too prideful for his help. When Godric met his True Death, he told Eric Northman of Willow and her location, entrusting him to her care and safety in a world unfamiliar to her. Welcome to the adventures of a living dead girl, thrust into modern day Bon Temps, and her desperate search for a cure or true death. ---------------------------------------- ~ 21+ Content ~ Experienced Writer ~ Free to message to plot ~ Friendly writer
