Okay I haven’t had a chance to watch the new Fallout show yet but I see a bunch of people talking about how it messes with the canon of the games (and specifically new vegas) and I’m just genuinely curious because I don’t know: is the show officially set in the continuity of the games? I assumed that being an adaptation it had its own continuity and was in its own version of the world of Fallout and therefore its take on canon and the games canon wouldn’t be one and the same

#fallout #I’m not sure I'm too bothered by the idea of a retcon either way #since nonlinear/multichoice games have fairly “fluid” canons anyway #but i guess id have to fully watch the show to finalize that opinion #and I’m just genuinely curious as to what the shows actual continuity status is

i know 5 seasons is like a respectable run but even so!! im gonna miss it a lot. plus i just want to have a trek show around thats set in the more recent trek era and where a good chunk of the main cast arent characters from older shows. i love SNW but i want more new people and i want to see more of whats going on post the canon of the older shows
