Yes and No in Tarot
This method works for me and my decks, and maybe it will work for you! I have heard from other tarotists that you can’t ask yes or no questions but i don’t think tarot has or should have those kind of rules.
The method goes as follows:
Even numbers - Yes
Odd numbers - No
Face Cards - Unsure
This method allows for your cards to give more insight into how they are answering.
For example, if you are looking for a yes to a question, but get the sun, an odd numbered card, it means no but you will be happier because of it.
Another example, if you are looking for a yes and get the tower, an even numbered card, which means yes and it will work out negatively (not necessarily bad, but not a pleasant experience).
*At the moment, I am still learning about the face cards and what exactly they mean. Personally, I have concluded that they mean it is both yes and no, or neither a yes or no.
Regarding reversed cards, I still see it as insight into the yess or no, and not a different answer. Consult your deck personally and ask what will work for the both of you.

Fog in Witchcraft
Fog is often a forgotten aspect of weather that seems to get passed over when it comes to witchcraft despite it having some powerful and noble uses as well as a history in the craft. Though not all areas get fog commonly, many do, almost every morning depending on the time of year. Allow this small post to perhaps be some help to those who have interest in harnessing fog into their craft.
Tumblr media
History and Fiction
As stated above, in many literary sources witches of both historical senses and fiction harness fog as a powerful towel. In popular lore, witches were said to summon fogs to roll across the lands to protect fleeing mothers and children during wars to hide from invading soldiers, though this lore is hard to pin point down, it is often said to come from Celtic and Gaelic origins.
In other tales witches would summon fog to protect traveling royalty or heroes who are on a quest to reach lands that may be unfriendly to their arrival. At some other times fog was related to almost like the “witching hour” it meant it was a time that the supernatural were out and witches were casting their spells.
Fog as a Liminal Space
What is a liminal space? To put it simply it means a “transforming space” or a place that the Veil or energies are thinner and overcross one another. Often they are associated with spirit work, energy work, astral work and over all witchcraft. Some call these places or areas “places where one area and time stop and another begins”.
In many cases, places that are covered by fog often are said to be liminal spaces during this time, due to the surrealism and energy fog brings with it. It turns something mundane looking to mysterious, confusing and even to some creepy. Its concealing nature brings the feeling of the unknown and the unseen.
Traditionally and theatrically fog is often used to represent the Veil between worlds and afterlife, often used in settings of literature and movies by covering graveyards before something supernatural happens or by filling the streets at night when magick is about to begin. Often when many people who don’t practice the craft think of supernatural energies and the Veil they imagine a foggy night or a wall of fog, this imagery is for a reason.
Often, fog is seen as an important tool for spirit work both fictionally and modernly due to its relations of being a liminal space and therefore seen as easier to contact spirits with the barriers weaker when it arrives.
Correpsondences and Uses of Fog
Generally Fog Corresponds with - The Veil, Spirits/Spirit Work, The Hidden, The Unseen, Invisibility, Protection, Obstruction, Curses/Hexes, Warding, Meditation, Astral Work, Fear, Patience, Calmness, Serenity, Peace and Travel
Often times, fog is useful to one when they wish to cast or enchant items for invisibility and protection during travel, often necklaces or items enchanted while out in the fog. Others will take the opportunity of using fog for spiritual communication, past life work and astral projection, taking advantage of the weakened barriers and Veil for these purposes.
Tumblr media
Associations
Crystals - Clear Quartz, Smokey Quartz, Thunder Egg
Herbs/Plants - Cotton, Broom, Saffron, Thistle/Thicket, Wheat, Pansy
Colors - Gray, Silver, Black, Blue
Other Tools - Steam, Incense/Smoke, Wands, Besoms, Branches, Storm Water/Rain Water, Ash, Dust, Mirrors and Gray Candles
Fog Summoning
There are many ways said to summon fog. A few of those ways will be listed below
Method 1: Using storm water boiling it until it has thick amounts of steam rising from it, carefully move it outside or to a window (if one is not already outside) and offer it to the sky. Many will chant or call to the weather or winds to bring them fog much like the steam of the pot.
Method 2: In water on a burner add storm or sea salt and a sigil on paper for fog. Close the lid to it and wait until it is boiling. Remove the lid and allow the steam to rise. Here chant if desired for fog or let the water boil until it is nearly gone.
Method 3: With a besom go outside if it is a private space and much like wind summoning call to the fog to come to you, using your tool as an extension of yourself and your energy. Remember to ask it to come rather than demand for it.
Method 4: Using storm water or rain water, ash and a jar fill it with these ingredients and shake it thoroughly to summon fog. Be sure to center yourself and focus on your energy to put into this fog summoning jar. Leave it outside or in a window afterwards for further effects.
Tumblr media
Fog Water
Fog water is a tool that can be used for witchcraft when fog is not rightfully available or in place of rain water/storm water in fog summoning. To capture fog water is pretty easy though you must be able to accept small amounts.
First you will need either very fine fabric or mesh or screen similar to what can be found in windows or for fishing nets. Tight it taunt onto something to hold it up like rods or sticks. Make sure it is held up at least a couple feet above the ground and somewhere the fog will roll through it. Base it off of how high the fog in your area tends to be, if you have low rolling fogs it may work better lower to the ground. After or during a time of fog you should be able to see droplets of water forming on it, you may use a jar tied below a corner of it to capture these drops or you can collect it yourself during/after they have formed. You can build much larger versions of this for potable water gathering and tutorials on this can be found easily online if that may interest you.
Store your fog water in glass containers and in the fridge, be sure to date and label to ensure you are using fresh water. Do not drink this water unless you set up the proper potable filtration systems.
Tumblr media
Diffusing Fog
Often witches will find themselves tasked with fog being a hindrance rather than helpful. Its a dangerous weather condition especially for those on the road or at sea.
Historically, sea witches would be asked to disperse fog for the safe return and port of sea vessels and the men upon them. Though it is difficult to find exact spells from these times, often broom or heather is used by facing the sea with it in hand and waving at the fog, putting energy into it and telling the fog to disperse. Other times it is said using a broom/besom to summon winds to remove the fog was a preferred way.
Other options for witches is to sing a fog removal song and often dance accompanied with it and with either a besom or wand in hand, direct the fog to travel away from you and somewhere else. Other witches have found success in praying and working with weather deities to move the fog back to the sky or to lead it away.
Omens, Superstitions and Dreams
In omens it is said fog represents blindness. It blocks our ability to see clearly and makes normal directions seem impossible to follow. It can go hand in hand with confusion and the feelings of anxiety. When fog appears in visions it is to be seen often as a warning that things are about to get just that - foggy.
Though it is also related to shrouding oneself, it may be a sign that it is time for you to create a fog about yourself and to build up those wards.
Superstition wise it was believed fog would steal people, often due to people getting lost in it and vanishing, because of this fog is seen as a warning of loss to come. Some cultures even associate it directly with death.
In dreams fog holds many meanings. If the fog is throughout the whole dream then it is a warning of deception. Someone is deceiving you and deep down you know it to be true. If you dream of being wrapped in fog and it is too thick to see through or escape it is often related to feeling that someone has stolen something from you. Dreaming of wandering in a foggy environment is a warning of dangers to come, keep on your toes. If you escape fog it means you are avoiding danger or theft.
If one dreams of fog just being around their head, eyes or following above them like a halo/hat, then it is an indication that you are lying to yourself. You are refusing to let yourself see the truth. It can also be a play of the saying “its all in your head” meaning you are overthinking a problem.
If you dream of fog and snow together, it is often said to be a dream related to sickness soon to come. Others say its a sign that illness of the mind and emotions is going to creep its way in.
If one dreams of their home, bedroom or apartment being filled with fog it is often taken as a bad omen and sign that a large family drama is soon to come.
Seeing a figure in fog in dreams can have different meanings. If it is someone that you know it means they may be hiding things from you or that you are going to have a fight with them in the near future. It can also indicate if you are in the fog and you see them outside of the fog, that you are guilty about something you did to them. Seeing a stranger in the fog or a shadow you do not recognize is often due to anxiety or fear in one’s waking life. They represent the unknown and the future to come, which you are currently stressed over. Animals in the fog can represent both anxieties and fears looming about you but also can represent that you a repressing your own desires and natural wants.
If you see fog rolling in from the distance of a dream it means something is looming in your waking life. If fog starts descending down on you in a dream from the sky to the ground, many take this as a bad omen for travel especially by air or sea. Historically it is said a foggy sea in your dreams means a shipwreck in your future. Though fog over a lake or river means dream-like wonder and is said that young women who dream of this can expect a mysterious stranger in their future.
Tumblr media
Fog and Different Types of Witchcraft
Sea Witchcraft - Fog is often seen as more of a hindrance in ocean magick, especially historically when fog at sea or port could be rather hazardous and bring tragedy to many. Due to this, fog in sea magick is often used for more negative tasks like cursing.
Storm Magick - Fog is often seen more in the light of a less harsh type of weather compared to storms or rain but still one that can be used to harness energy. The energy of foggy weather is much more mysterious, calm and hazy than that of storm or wind. It can be used for such purposes.
Death Magick - Fog is often related to the barriers of the other-side as some may say, so many death witches will take advantage of fog to use it to communicate and commune with the dead. Many report that it can make using tools of communication like Ouija boards and pendulums easier.
Divination - Often fog can be seen as a hindrance for divination though it is often deeply routed with self discovery and past life work. Many will take the opportunity of foggy weather to explore their past lives and the history of themselves and others.

windvexer's spellcrafting and spellcasting checklist
These are the sorts of things I think about when I work the style of magic that I work. This stuff is based off of my beliefs which might include UPG and is therefore definitely not applicable to everyone. Take what you want and discard the rest.
I do not rigidly follow this checklist. These are just the kinds of things I think about and consider when planning and executing spells. For small, simple spells, I ignore almost all of these factors. For serious and large spells I may consider many more of them.
Spellcrafting
Intent
Do I know exactly what I want to occur?
Have I thought through a few obvious logical consequences of my intended goal?
Have I performed divination on the outcome of this intent?
Am I sure that what I'm asking for is the same thing as what I want? (e.g. do I really want more people talk to me or is my true desire make more friends?)
Do I need to crystalize my intent into one specific phrase, or is it okay for me to leave it casual or even improvise?
Expectations
How soon is it rationally possible for my spell to manifest?
Do I expect the spell to manifest very rapidly? If so, what components or spellcasting style am I going to use to encourage rapid manifestation?
Do I expect the spell to work "just okay," or to be very powerful? If I want it to be very powerful, what extra steps am I going to take to fill the spell with power?
If the spell does exactly as my intent dictates, what is the most likely outcome?
Responsibilities
Am I bound to any gods or spirits that would frown upon what I want to undertake with this spell?
Have I taken any vows or oaths that would conflict with my goals?
Does casting this spell intent conflict with personal goals I've set for myself?
If casting for others, is this truly a situation I want to involve myself in?
If casting for myself, is this spell in my own best interest?
Is there any chance I am casting this spell to side-step self care, responsibilities, or personal healing? (I don't mean don't cast a self-love spell if you actually need therapy! Cast that spell every gosh darn day if you please. I literally mean, are you using magic as an avoidance tactic, when the reality is you really really just need to eat a sandwich and do your homework?)
Design
Have I chosen a style of spellcasting which matches my intent? (e.g., if I want to banish, have I chosen a spellcasting style that includes sending away actions such as burning a paper or throwing away a rock?)
Can I be creative with what I have to avoid delaying this spell? (e.g. I usually use candles as a beacon to draw things in, but when I think about it, a candle burning down would also be a good sending away action for a banishment).
If I have already heavily cast in the past, do I have any ongoing spells (such as wards) which would interfere with the work I want to do now?
Do I want to include a physical indicator that the spell manifested or stopped working? (Such as tying a thread around your wrist that breaks when the spell stops working)
Physical Components
What physical object will be used to anchor this spell? I believe that manifesting in physical reality is much easier if you tie magic to a physical object.
Do I know how the physical objects I'm using are linked to the design of the spell? (e.g., I want to banish, so I choose to use a candle for a dwindling away effect.)
Do I have a safe and practical plan for storing or disposing leftover physical objects from the spellcasting?
How can I make storage or disposal of leftover objects a part of the spell? (e.g. I take the leftover melted wax from the banishment candle and walk to the dumpster down the street, completing the spell as I throw away the last bits of their presence in my life in the garbage).
Am I intending to invoke gods, spirits, or entities in this spell? If so, do I need physical components to represent them within the casting space, or within the spell itself?
If I am intending to invoke gods, spirits, or entities in this spell, and I need physical components to represent them, is it a good idea to save and re-use these components? Do I need to make disposable representations, or can I use permanent devotional objects?
What physical components have I gathered which are unnecessary?
Does each component that I've chosen have a specific job in this spell?
Does each component and their jobs fully align with my chosen intent and spell style?
If not every component and their jobs align with my intent or method of casting, do I need to re-examine my intent and rework the foundations of this spell?
Do I need to modify or prepare any physical components? If so, do I need to do any of this ahead of time?
Energy and Power
How much power do I believe it will take to successfully perform this spell? If the energy requirement is large, do I need to break this operation up into smaller parts and cast multiple small spells?
Will it be necessary for me to craft a physical spell vessel ahead of time so I can slowly charge it until it has enough power?
How do I intend to power this spell? (for me, I power it with my own energy, or call on external forces)
If I will use my own energy, do I have enough personal power reserves to successfully cast this spell? Or, will it burn me out, even on a day when I'm well-rested?
If I will use an external energy, how do I plan to raise or call this energy into my casting space?
How do I plan to combine power with my spell components? (sometimes this is inherent in spell style; if doing knot magic, the power is held within the knots. At other times, it must be thought through - if I draw a symbol on a rock, maybe my power will be consumed by the spell at the singular point where I draw the symbol on the rock. Or, maybe I'd like to charge the symbol ahead of time.)
If I'm using many physical components, do I need to individually charge each one?
Do my chosen energy sources align with my spell needs? (e.g. if I require very rapid manifestation, have I ensured that I am using airy, fiery, mercurial, swift, or rapid energies? Or, have I accidentally used lots of heavy, slow, earthen, saturnine, creeping energies?)
Spirits, Gods, and Entities
If asking spirits, gods, or entities for help, how is my relationship with that power? Do I need to visit them ahead of time and make sure we're on good terms before I call on them?
If asking spirits, gods, or entities for help, do I need to plan a formal invitation or petition?
If asking spirits, gods, or entities for help, do I need to repay them? If so, what do I need to collect or prepare for this purpose?
Aftermath and Upkeep
Is this a one-shot or continuous spell? Will I be maintaining and watching over the spell after it is cast, or will I let it go do its thing?
If it's an ongoing spell that will require upkeep, have I chosen a physical vessel that's practical to be worked with over a long period of time?
Will I need to make notes about this spell so I can remember what the vessel is in a few weeks or months?
How often will I need to recharge or maintain this spell?
If something went wrong, how would I undo this spell?
Spellcasting
Preparation
Have I gathered everything I need into one place?
If I forget something, is it okay for me to walk away from the spell to go get it, or is it really important I don't leave casting space until the spell is complete?
Is there anything special I need to do to prepare my casting space?
Do I need to take notes or write anything down so I don't forget it once the spell starts?
If I'm going to do a fancy ritual, do I need to write or print the ritual steps ahead of time?
If I've chosen to perform my spell at a special time, how much earlier do I need to prepare my casting space so that I can begin working within the correct time?
Pre-Casting Self Check
Do I feel safe and comfortable casting this spell?
Do I have enough personal energy to cast a spell right now? (even when conjuring external energies, you always use some of your own energy to cast spells)
If there is a risk that I will be drained, do I have anything important to do today or tomorrow that would be bad to miss or under-perform on?
Do I have enough free time today to have extra rest after spellcasting?
Do I have enough extra food to help restore me after spellcasting? (especially carbs, by the way)
Are there any tasks or activities I should do before I cast this spell, in case it is more draining than I expected?
Will I have enough energy to clean up my spellcasting space once I'm done? This includes properly disposing of or storing any spellcasting remnants or vessels.
Do I want to pray and ask for aid before I begin the spellcasting process?
Do I have any last-minute gut feelings about casting this spell? Is there a negative or worrying emotion that has been with me through this entire process that I've tried to ignore?
Do I want to exert my will upon the world?
After Care
How do I feel? (Including the physical, emotional, and mental)
Did I properly pay any spirits, gods, or entities involved in my spellwork?
Did I properly close down the spellcasting space (if applicable)?
If the working took place in my resting area, does my resting area feel comfortable? Is there anything I need to do, such as opening the window or playing music, to help my space return to normal?
Do I need a snack?
Do I need to perform a restful, low-energy activity for a little while?
Would it feel nice if I went and talked to people, or would I prefer to be alone?
Did I have any special insights during spellcasting that I want to write down before I forget?
Reflection
Did the spell go how I imagined it would?
Was I able to feel power being raised?
Did I end up feeling drained or buzzed after spellcasting? (note that you're not always bound to feel either, but it's worth noting as they're decent indicators that "something happened")
Did I ever feel a moment where I was still working over my physical components, but realized that they felt complete and the magic was ready?
If I called on spirits, gods, or entities, did I feel their presence? Did it seem like they had thoughts or feelings about the spell?
If I cast a spell like this again, what would I change? What would I keep the same?
Did I feel good about my disposal or storage methods for physical components?
Do I want to perform divination on how the spellcasting went?
Did I over or under-estimate how much energy the spell would require?
Did I like the style of spellcasting? Do I want to explore more spells of this style, or try a different type?

Spiritual Protection Types, and Why We Need It So Much
Unless you are new, you have probably endured many witches and practitioners emphasize the importance of mastering protection. It is a lot like carrying a self-defense tool, you are preventing something from happening before it happens to you in your most vulnerable state.
DISCLAIMER: This is based mostly on my personal experiences and own research as a practicing witch. Everyone has their own methods, you do not need to agree with me.
If you would like to support my endeavors, check out my profile! I had to retype this 3 times because I didn't save and would appreciate support
Tumblr media
What is Spiritual Protection?
Spiritual protection takes several forms. It can be a crystal in your pocket, a jar, a sigil, a sign from a tarot card, a talisman, a ward, a bind, etc.
Basically, spiritual protection is ANYTHING meant to protect you, your loved ones, your sacred spaces, or living spaces.
First and foremost, we must discuss different categories of protection.
Prevention
Not giving room for the energy to enter to begin with. Some of us know the shock of interacting with a negative energy all too well, and in my experience, any negative energy makes it stronger. This makes an influx of positive energy so much more important and valuable
I see us and spaces all as having a limited capacity for energy, just like we have a limited capacity for anything. If there is too much positive energy, there will be no room for the negative energy to enter, let alone negative energy for them to fuel themselves.
Tumblr media
Purification
Getting rid of the bad/boring/used energy that no longer serves us is purification. Some of us will practice purification by smoke cleansing, which is my personal favorite. Others will use baths, or protective oils to purify their energy. Energy that has stuck around too long feels like monotony to me, and when I feel monotony, I always cleanse.
Tumblr media
Defense
There are a couple of different ways you are able to defensively protect yourself from negative energy. Warding is my preferred method, so we will discuss that first.
A ward can be a metaphorical wall, or an energy sponge, regardless of how you use it, it keeps everything you don't want out. Wards have to be scripted or programmed beforehand, in my experience. The more detail/work you put into them, the stronger they get. You can make them like Jell-O, or like concrete. They can allow any energy, no energy, or only certain energies to enter. The bounds to wards are endless, the only downside is trying to figure out when to charge them. (I recommend using the sun or moon to charge them, using yourself later on, charging them once a week). A more in depth post on wards is coming later.
Setting boundaries is another way to defend yourself, they allow us control in our relationships and interactions. They are exactly the type of boundaries you are thinking of, physical and mental (or psychic) boundaries. Developing strong boundaries is crucial to most relationships, not allowing toxicity to interfere with the beautiful relationship you have. Physical boundaries may be a salt line or circle, while mental may be shielding or cleansing.
Tumblr media
Offense
I don't recommend beginners to start by working with offensive protection, unless absolutely necessary. I do not use offensive protection unless I genuinely feel that I am in harm's way.
This is a type of protection that will hunt the perpetrator down, regardless of whether or not it is a known energy or being. Sometimes simply casting chaos into the world is enough for the energy to leave you alone for a while, but other times, it is to keep the energy at bay. Hexes are considered offensive protection by some (me included).
Tumblr media
Deflection
This is simply reflecting the energy sent onto you back onto the source, the most simple "no you don't" in witch history. Most commonly, deflection is done through Return To Sender workings, and when the energy or being is returned it is stuck to them.
Some witches can sense when negative energy is on their way to them, others find out through readings. Mirror Boxes are great for deflecting, along with sigils or witch balls.
Tumblr media
Divine or Spiritual Protection
Calling upon protective deities, guardians, familiars, etc. to protect a person or space can be done through regular offerings to them. The offerings signify you still need their assistance, but this can very from being to being. All different beings can be pinned against each other in the name of protection, just ensure that they are stronger than whatever energy is trying to harm you. Many will set up altars or spirit houses as a way to visualize the agreement to work with the beings, making it special to the energy.
Tumblr media
Thank you for reading my post until the end, and I hope it helps someone who needs it.
I used my own experiences and this link to learn about all of the different types.

If your relationship is over but the other person won't stop calling, texting, or driving by your house, do this working to push them out of your life.
Place the photos in front of you, and speak to them firmly. Say:
You are not welcome, you are not wanted. Our time together has ended, and you need to move on without me.
Paint a big X over the first photo, saying (Name), you are gone from my life.
Paint an X over the second photo, and say: (Name), you are gone from my heart.
Finally, put an X on the last photo, and tell it: (Name), you are gone from my mind.

Tongue Control Spell (3)
The following spell counters gossip, slander, and testimony against you. It is most powerful if performed standing at the center of a crossroad, however it may also be accomplished standing at a window. A sudden gust of wind is an extremely auspicious omen.
Blend a pinch of white sugar, a pinch of flour, and a pinch of fine ground salt.
Hold the powder in the palm of your hand while visualizing your desired outcome. Direct your petition to the deity of your choice, if necessary. (If you’d like spiritual assistance but are unsure who to beseech, the archangel Michael and the orisha Ogun, warriors who despise lies, are recommended, as is Ma’at, Egyptian dispenser of ultimate justice.)
Chant: I am innocent of the accusations! [Deity’s name] protect me!
Allow the powders to fly out of your hand.

Creative Writing Tarot Spread
Writers block bogging you down? Use this 7-card spread to help jumpstart your creativity! This prompt can help you generate a very basic storyline.
First, pull a character card! Decide for yourself what this means: will your character carry the traits of the positive meanings of this card? Will your character’s conflicts be brought about by the card’s negative meanings? Will your character look like the figure depicted on the card? Will they wield the item depicted on the card? (Note: if your story has multiple main characters, you may wish to pull a card for each)
Next, pull the plot cards! Pull a card for the beginning of your story, a card for the middle, and a card for the end. Again, let yourself decide what this means. Do these cards describe your character’s emotional state(s) as the story progresses? Do these cards describe internal or external conflicts? Do these cards represent other characters your MC will meet along the way?
Finally, pull your meat cards! These cards are the “meat” of your story. Pull one card for the main or most important setting of your story, one card for the main conflict, and one card for the resolution of that conflict.
Have fun with it! Remember that these cards are just tools, and this spread is simply to kickstart your brain. If you get halfway through the spread and come up with something on your own, or if you start writing and realize your plot is deviating from what the cards gave you, don’t stress about it! You write for yourself, not for the cards. Thank them for their help and continue on with your own imagination.

Magical numbers
1 - ONE
One, e pluribus unum, all life united, the universe and everything in it, the unique individual. Absolute distinction, favourite, one among many, the rebel, the saint, the spark of change. Self, first, best. One can be singular or all encompassing. One is the first whole number, the one from which others spring, the most important thing. Is treated as a symbol of unity, God, if one is added to an even number (female) it becomes odd (male) and vice versa.
In Witchcraft, one is the intention, is casting a single circle surrounding your for protection, it represents potential in the Tarot Cards.Use the number one in magic to emphasize the importance of your intention, or during magic focused on the self or on one group, one symbol for each member. Perform spells on Monday, during the New Moon, on the first day of the month.  The possibilities are endless!
One: Creation, the beginning, the power of will, courage, rebel with a cause, self-awareness, independence, pioneering.
2 - TWO
Lovers, friendship, a bond. Opposites, but also balance. It symbolizes many of the basic dualities: me/you, male/female, yes/no, alive/dead, left/right, yin/yang, night/day, sun/moon, light/dark. Is often associated with the opposite the ‘one’ deity, the evil mirror image. The reflection is the second “you”, a false image, or a more true one, the side you hide. It’s a partnership or a conflict of 2 opposite forces coming together.
Invoke number two when you need to bond two things together, mental or physical. Perform on Tuesday, when the moon is in its second cycle. If you centre the spell on yourself and bring peace within during a tumultuous time, use a mirror so every action is doubled by your own reflection. Find a representation of what you’d like to bond, burn a candle for 2 hours and pour the wax over 2 separate pieces, covering them under a unifying layer of wax. You can bond people, emotions, calm conflicting thoughts. Devote the spell to harmony, do all things twice.
Two: Knowledge, harmony, diplomacy, nurturing energy, loving, enduring, kind. Balance, partnership, contrast, polarity.
3 - THREE
Three different aspects of a deity makes the whole, the trinity. In ancient Babylon, the 3 primary gods were Anu, Bel, Ea, representing Heaven, Earth and the Abyss. The 3 aspects of the Egyptian Sun god Thepri (rising), Ra (midday) and Athum, the Trinity in Christianity, Father, Son, Spirit, these correspondences can be found in the Triple Goddess, (Maiden, Mother, Crone) and so on. Three is the triangle, the simplest spacial shape, is the past, present, future, beginning, middle and end. You get offered 3 wishes, spells can be recited 3 times, there are 3 primary colours. Veni, vidi, vici.
In magic, it symbolizes the cycle of the spell. If you have a goal and are a little confused on how to get to the end, use the number three. Work backwards from the end to figure out how to get through the middle and imagine the goal as a story. Find spots that might give you problems, divide them into 3.
Three: youth, the inner child, imagination, happiness, communication, upbeat energy, humour, dynamic movement, self-expression, destiny, fate.
4 - FOUR
The cardinal points, the seasons, the elements. Is the number of order, the 4 phases of the moon, the 4 noble truths in Buddhism, the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the Cross. Four 'humours' in the Medieval times (phlegm, blood, choler, black-bile - phlegmatic, sanguine, choleric, melancholic). Is a practical, material number, in Tarot The Emperor represents control over your life, all 4 corners of it.
Four is the number to incorporate when using the elements or the seasons. Find recipes for 'Four thieves vinegar', sprinkle the protective concoction 4 times in front of your doors, at the start of each week or each quarter of the month, it doubles as disinfectant!
Four: reliability, the dependable friend, earthy, grounded, meticulous, honest, careful. Material reality, problem solving, travel, healing, protection.
5 - FIVE
Heavily associated with marriage, also a symbol of humanity. We have five main appendages, when spread they resemble a star, five fingers and toes, we give 'high fives', five senses, five continents, five petals in the traditional rose. Is the sum of the first even and odd numbers, there's five regular solids (platonic solids). Five is associated with Ishtar and Venus, with a pentagram as a symbol, a lover's knot. There are five virtues, five vices, is a sacred number in Islam, with the five virtues, prayers are said five times a day, etc. Five acknowledges the human as being divinely influenced and capable of extraordinary things. The 5th element is the soul, the witch performing the spell.
You are the most important element of any spell. On your palms, on the top of your feet, draw the symbol of each element. Lay down, stretch out and create the shape of a star. Call power to yourself and envision entering your body through each symbol, filling you with strength.
Five: adventure, possibilities, daring dynamic, challenge, innovation, humanity, freedom.
6 - SIX
Is both the sum and the product of the first three numbers. Is therefore considered perfect, it equals to the sum of its divisors (the next one is 28). It's the six days of creation, related to the Sun energy, often connected with security and responsibility.
The downward pointing triangle is a chalice or womb, therefore a feminine vessel for life or magic, penetrating deep into the ground, the sacred home of mother Earth. The upward pointing triangle is a phallus, a pyramid, a masculine pointer towards the stars, home of the sky father deities.
Six: the advocate & healer, service, understanding and emphatic, love, fertility, healing.
7 - SEVEN
The sum of the spiritual three and the material four. Trivium and quadrivium, the liberal arts taught in medieval times. The seven notes in music, a prime number considered to be lucky. Seven days of the week, the days of the menstrual cycle, the lunar calendar with the moon phases lasting a week (7x4 =28) the seven ages of men, the seven planets, the seven candles burned by Jewish, the seven deadly sins, seven wonders, seven years of bad luck when you break a mirror, is a number full of symbolism.
Seven: spirituality, intelligence, focus, to break with difficult situations, hexing, sexual impotence, create discord, death.
8 - EIGHT
It's considered an auspicious number, the square of any odd number less one is always a multiple of 8. Eight is often associated with Heaven, eight as the lotus petals, eight Sabbaths, the infinite symbol, the number of karma, the spider's legs, the octaves in music. Is a source of power and strength, linked with money and prosperity, represents balance, the flow of energy, rationality and hard work. The number eight is considered to be a lucky number in Chinese and other Asian cultures.
Eight: leadership, prosperity, money, symmetry, judgement, talent, business goals, manifestation.
9 - NINE
This number represents change and growth, the completion of a process. It's three times three, triple powerful number. In the Bible, the 9th Psalm predicts the coming of the Antichrist, "cloud dine", the cat has nine lives, the river Styx has nine twists, the nine muses, nine months of gestation. Is a number related to patience, meditation, it represents the inspiration and the perfection of the ideas, the divine consciousness and according to the Cabal, the number of achievement.
Nine: Cooperation, wisdom, manifestation, closure, meditation.

Pokémon Oracle Cards >:D
I love pokémon to the point of using pokémon cards as my own oracle deck. I’ve only fleshed out my deck recently, though have had and used it off and on for a year or so. So in the future i will likely update this post in particular.
the reason I revisited and revamped my deck was because of this post in particular (this post is my boiling down of all of the information from it, as well as my own notes). It has wonderful advice and ideas and I encourage anyone interested to read it as well.
1. How to decide on cards - This is a difficult thing to decide and it all comes down to you. Think of it as assembling a team and preparing yourself for your journey, wether in pokémon or life. Getting a balance of types and energies is VERY much encouraged, especially to get a range of meanings and ideas in your readings
2. Dissecting card meanings - Pokémon card meanings may be hard to dissect. For me, the best way to find a card’s meaning is to examine the artwork, move set, flavor text, and the role of the pokémon in the game to find a true meaning.
This can best be explained by example:
The Caterpie card - In the artwork, it is a close up of the Caterpie, with much emphasis on it’s eye. It is level six, and very close to evolving. It’s poké-power is Pupate, the ability to evolve mid-battle. The flavor text mentions it molting to grow, just like real caterpillars.
My interpretation: Reaching one’s full potential is incredibly close, and it’s best to pay close attention to what may come next. Reversed, It soon evolves into metaphod, then quickly butterfree, which while beautiful, is easily replaced and overall not very powerful.
Other things to keep in mind while interpreting a card are the type(ex. just as cups represent emotional matters, so does water), your personal relationship with the pokémon(ex. your favorite pokémon representing your ideal self), and it’s connection to other pokémon/characters in pokémon (a specific trainer’s pokémon implying support from others)
the colors/types i have figured out so far are that grass is growth, fire is motivation and ideas, water is emotion, electric is energy, psychic/purple(?) is shadow work and the higher being, normal/grey(?) is the material world, steel is community, and fighting/orange is skill and craftsmanship.
here’s another example to explain:
The Spiritomb card - The artwork is a close up on spiritomb in what appears to be a trick room. It’s face stems from a large rock known as the Odd Keystone. The card is purple. It is specifically Cynthia’s Spiritomb. It has 2 moves, sharpshooting and lock up, both attacks having to do with playing dirty. Lock up especially has to do with stopping the opponent from moving. From the games Spritomb is said to be the gathering of 108 ill natured spirits, bound to an odd keystone for it’s misdeeds.
My interpretation: There are negative emotions, habits, or influences getting the better of you. You may not have time to act before it does, but it’s best to prepare yourself for what is to come. Attack the source of the problem directly instead of just handling the face of the issue.
Spreads for this type of deck
Because of pokémon’s focus on friendship, I’ve decided to dedicate this reading to the idea of influences and companionship.
1. The Starter : How you began your journey
2. The Route One Pokémon: An early influence on your journey
3. The HM Slave: Essential resources for your journey
4. The Shiny: A random or coincidental influence that will help you on your journey
5. The Egg: What you have influenced on your journey
6. The Pseudo Legendary: A later influence in your journey
7. The PC: An influence you can always look back to
What kind of journey this reading is about is up to you, wether that be your journey with education, relationships, self love, or employment.

Reminder that witch labels (EG, green witch, kitchen witch, storm witch, etc.) are an extremely recent convention. If a label works for you, that's fine - but don't feel like you have to label yourself, let alone force yourself into some kind of box.

Cups are months, because they are water, and water flows with the moon, which completes a cycle in roughly a month.
Pentacles are seasons to years, because they are seeds, and some seeds only require a season to grow while others need a year.
The timings for the Major Arcana and the Pages are related to the cards’ meanings. Once you know the meanings, you know the timings.

MIRROR MAGIC
Tumblr media
Mirror magic can be a great way to see yourself better, to give yourself healing energy and love, for scrying, and can even be used to see yourself in a past life. Reflective surfaces have been used for millennia for magic of all purposes, including scrying and seeing the truth of a situation. They were thought by some to be portals, similar to Alice in Through the Looking Glass.
What do you do when you look in the mirror? Do you check your teeth to see if you have food stuck in them? Do you obsess over tiny imperfections, such as blemishes that no one else sees but you? Whatever we do when we first look in the mirror is what’s known as automatic programming. Usually, it’s a fear-based action to protect us from looking bad to others. In this section, we’ll make a conscious change from fear-based actions to practice mirror magic, the essence of which is love-based.
Your reflection is a product of the light (or absence thereof); the warmth or color of the light; the angle you tilt your head; the quality of the mirror; and the emotion you hold. Mirrors reflect our energy back to us. If we can connect with that energy, we can raise it to create magic.
Give Yourself Energy
Gaze at your reflection and enter a trance state. Breathe in love for yourself. As you exhale, give your reflection love. Receive the love from your reflection with every inhale. Feel the energy grow between yourself and your reflection, and let the exchange intensify.
Self-Love
Self-love is some of the most powerful magics there is. This practice isn’t unruly or narcissistic, but rather, a warm supporting love that calms the mind.
Look in the mirror. Stop any automatic programming that may arise and stare softly at your face. Notice what you admire the most about yourself — maybe you have nice cheeks or beautiful eyes. Smile gently at yourself while thinking about radical self-acceptance and love. Look beyond the surface of your skin and bring out the brilliant beauty of your soul.
Give yourself a compliment. Tell your reflection something like, “I love you. I adore you. I care about you so much. You’re magnificent,” or any other powerful affirmations. Accept these statements with grace and ease. Tell yourself, “thank you,” and mean it. See if you can create an energy fountain with your love.
This kind of mirror magic can be used for healing. It’s a great way to remove energetic blocks, cultivate a love of our perfect imperfections, and to be present in the moment.
If this practice makes you feel uncomfortable, imagine that you’re saying these kind and true words to your higher self and know that they see you that way, most certainly. Or, think about it this way. If you wouldn’t let your friend talk about themselves negatively, you shouldn’t let yourself talk that way, either. This is the perfect magic to be your own friend and extend the same respect to yourself. With time, it’ll become easier to accept love from yourself. Having compassion for yourself is magical, indeed.
Enchant Your Reflection (Glamor)
Mirror magic can be used to enchant our appearances. To enchant yourself, enter into a trance state. Tilt your head different ways until you see yourself in a new light. See yourself as beautiful or handsome. Turn up the charm — put stars into your eyes until you see sparkles in your reflection. Use your will to change your appearance slightly. See yourself as any number of things — younger, older, more desirable, etc. Like energetic cloaks, enchanting and glamor requires focus and can take energy to maintain. It’s best used for short periods of time, such as a performance or a photo shoot.
Draw Symbols and Sigils In Your Aura
One of my favorite things to do when I’m in a higher spiritual energetic state is to draw sigils in my aura. When we combine that with mirror magic, we have a powerful visualization and perfect placement of any magical symbols you want.
Stare at your reflection and bring on a trance state. Draw symbols or sigils with a finger dipped in essential oil or a lit incense stick. Go slowly, feeling the meaning of every curve and line of the symbol. With your second sight, see the sigils glowing with power. Hold the vision for as long as you can. To recharge them, send energy to them and envision them glowing again.
Past-Life Vision
Come close to the mirror. Stare into your eyes and enter a trance state. Let your eyes become a portal to another world. Allow the world dissolve around you into nothingness.
You may see yourself as eyes without a face or a body. Go deeper into the trance. See if you can see yourself with a different face, or with different clothing, or in a strange environment.
Scry
Scrying is one of the more difficult divination methods to master, but a very visual person will likely find their footing here. Enter a trance an look upon and into an object such as a black mirror, a pool of water, or a crystal ball. You may see figures and shapes, which can be interpreted as different things, and you may see a storyline play out. Keep at it. Practice, a good trance, and intuition are essential tools for this work.
Carry the Magic With You
Compacts and pocket mirrors are perfect ways to reset your energy in a relatively unnoticed way in public. Program your mirrors with one of the methods above. When you’re out and about, peek at the mirror and see yourself with the magic. All it takes is one look and you’ve reactivated the magic. If you use this mirror outside your home, cleanse it every once in a while. (just make sure it's warded so you don't carry around a portable portal lol)
Tumblr media
MIRROR WARDING
Mirror warding is usually for old mirrors with silver backing, but they can still be useful for modern mirrors and probably should still be used in modern day. Especially for mirrors facing each other, you want to ward them to ensure they don't create a portal.
To ward a mirror, First cleanse it spiritually and physically. You can then take your own spit, florida water, protection oil, moon water, or whatever else and draw a sigil or rune for protection on the mirror. You can also wash the mirror in florida water or just line the border with it. I like to place my palm in the middle of the mirror after doing this to envision my hand locking the mirror.
MIRROR SPELLS
Mirrors can also be used in spellwork to reflect what was sent to you. or as a hex you give someone. The latter takes a bit of trickery but its easy if they don't know what they're doing.
For return to sender spells using a mirror, take a piece of paper and write the name of whoever sent shit to you, or just the word "negativity" or "return to sender" and fold it away from you. Take a small mirror and prop the folded paper on the mirror face down like a little tent. Circle it with black salt and say whatever you want to it. You can even say shit like "your energy is not wanted or needed here. Take back what you have sent me immediately" and burn the paper on the mirror right there.
For the hex/trickery thing… This involves them doing it, so it will take a bit of finesse. All they need is a small mirror, a black candle, and their reflection. Have them drip black wax over the mirror until they can no longer see their reflection. Tell them to take it home and put it in a window with the black wax facing out. It will basically lock their negativity and troubles in on themselves and localize it to just themself.

I am incredibly grateful for every post that seeks to remind people that "hey, it's okay if you don't have time to practice everyday. It doesn't make you any less of a practicioner", but I think it's also important to let people know:
You don't have to be a practicioner.
Not every person who worshiped a pagan god, or venerated their ancestor, or celebrated the passing of the seasons considered themselves to be some flavor of sage. Personally, I find there can be a lot of weight that comes with the title of "practicioner" (witch, wizard, etc). For me, that label comes with a lot of pressure at times. It is, in a sense, to declare yourself as one who "knows" while simultaneously accepting that you'll always be learning.
Regardless of whether or not one is going at their own pace, it can still be intense and overwhelming- and it's really okay if you don't want to do that. It's okay to pray and to worship without that kind of personal commitment or expectation. You are still allowed to believe in magic, and there is a beauty in being a witness.

Tutorials with Pokemancy: Making Your Own TCG Oracle Deck
Tumblr media
One of my favorite ways to practice Pokemancy is by using Pokemon cards! In this tutorial, I am going to teach you how to create your OWN oracle deck using cards from the Pokemon Trading Card Game.
Before we get started, let’s go over some definitions and recommended reading:
Pokemancy: the practice of using Pokemon in ANY form to produce messages, advice, and possible divine future events.
Pokemon TCG Cartomancy: Probably the most widespread type of Pokemancy; it is the use of Pokemon TCG cards in order to divine messages. This is comparable to tarot, oracle and lenormand. Like a tarot reading, the person interprets the cards that are pulled for the reading in order to deliver the message to the querent (person receiving the reading). TCG Cartomancy decks can be put together using any of the thousands of Pokemon cards in circulation, the sky is the limit with what you put into your deck. Energy cards, trainer cards and stadium cards can also be used!
An argument for Pokemancy & why it makes sense in the modern occult community
Introduction
Divination is most effective when you are using a tool that is comfortable for you. This is why personalized tools are become more and more popular. I have seen a rising interest for personalized divination tools such as tarot decks, oracle decks, rune sets, bone throwing sets and many, many more.
With that in mind, Pokemon cards can create a HUGE amount of variety and customization for a deck of cards used for divination! As of May 2020, there are:
Over unique 9000 cards in the English release
Over 20 billion cards in circulation
86 card set
That’s a lotta cards!
But admin! Where do I start? How do I pick my cards?! Which Pokemon do I use? Can I use energy cards? What about the trainers? Which of the 168 Pikachu cards should I pick?!
Not to worry! We are going to cover all of this in this tutorial.
The purpose of this tutorial is to show you that there is no limitation to creating a divination tool that suits you. While I will be offering some basic guidelines and structures, this tutorial is not meant to place limits onto what you can make! Some people may not resonate with my suggestions, and that’s entirely okay.
Deck Theme & Purpose
Many people who read tarot and oracle are familiar with the following phrases:
“This deck is amazing to use for love readings!”
“I’m not sure about you guys, but the imagery on these cards just BEG for shadow work readings.”
“The thing I like about this deck is that it can be used for just about anything.”
Often times, when an artist is creating a tarot or oracle deck, they are designing it around a certain theme or purpose. For example, a deck full of dark, gloomy imagery was probably made for people who want to get readings about death, shadow work or heavier topics. A deck full of inspiring, softer art probably works great for self-empowerment readings and spiritual guidance. And a deck full of couples, cutesy pictures and love symbols will probably strike the right cords with people who want relationship readings. The same goes for TCG oracle decks.
Here are some very basic ideas for some of the most popular deck themes. Remember, you can use your own meanings too:
Relationships/Love
Fairy-type Pokemon
Water-type Pokemon
Pokemon that you consider to represent love
Pokemon that know the moves ‘Attract’ or ‘Covet’
Cards with pink, red or white colors
Business/Finances/Money
Grass-type Pokemon
Ground-type Pokemon
Meowth & Persian
Trainer/Support cards that ask you to draw more cards
Trainer/Support cards that may be associated with money or business in the games, anime and manga.
Spirituality/PokePaganism/Past Life Regression
Psychic-type Pokemon
Legendary Pokemon
Pokemon that are important to you
Energy cards to represent the elements
Stadium cards to represent locations that you may want to focus on during meditation
Healing
Chansey or Audino
Pokemon Center Cards
Pokemon/Support/Stadium cards that inspire you and make you feel good
Energy cards that you associate with healing
Shadow Work
Dark-type Pokemon
Psychic-type Pokemon
Trainer/Support cards associated with villains
Legendary Pokemon associated with the dark
The lists and ideas can go on for as long as you’d like! If you want a more general deck that you can use for every day, go ahead and add in a mix of everything! You can even use the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana of the tarot as inspiration.
Balancing Your Deck
My personal Pokemancy deck takes a few things into consideration, and these things may be important to you too:
Representation of the elements. I have one of each energy card in my deck, it gives me deck a sense of balance and allows me to use the deck in many different ways. The energy cards can help clarify readings, or really REALLY bring up the energy that is surrounding my life at the moment. This also plays into the type of Pokemon I choose; I make sure to have a few of each type in my deck.
Visual aesthetics. As a professional tarot reader, I take a card’s artwork into consideration any time I am reading. The art helps me connect with the card, and really get to know it. Often times, I find more and more meaning in cards with complex art. Some readers prefer a more minimalist approach so that they do not get distracted. But, with that being said, I pick cards that appeal to me!
Pokemon that are important to me. If I have a connection with a Pokemon already, it makes it easier for me to read it from a divinatory standpoint.
Pokemon that I want to understand better. On the flip side, sometimes I add in Pokemon that I would make to make a better connection with– Pokemon that are currently “challenging me” in terms of grasping their meanings.
A good balance of “common” Pokemon and legendary Pokemon. My personal practice puts legendary Pokemon in the same seat as gods and goddesses. Common Pokemon give off more of a standard spirit energy for me. So, I have a mix of both in my deck so that I can have a good idea of whether or not this reading involves a connection to the lower realms, the middle realms or the higher realms.
A variety of trainer cards and stadium cards. I’ve got a few trainer cards in my deck in order to represent archetypes, and I have stadium cards that relate to different realms, locations or places that may be relevant during readings. For example, if I pull the Guzma trainer card, it means that I need to be strong and relentless in the face of an adversary, but I should be careful not to let my power get to my head. However, if I pull the Sabrina trainer card, I need to stop and allow myself to look at things logically and calmly.
The size of the deck. I like an average size deck, so my current Pokemancy deck is 40 cards. You, however, can choose as many as you want! As long as you aren’t overwhelmed and you feel that you can make a connection with your cards, and provide readings that make sense, then have at it.
When you put your Pokemancy deck together, you are going to want to try a few practice readings. If you find that your readings aren’t making a whole lot of sense, or if every reading is exactly the same despite changing the question, you may want to add a few cards, remove a few cards, or consider mixing up the variety of your cards. (Maybe all of your cards are TOO positive, and aren’t allowing you to see potential conflicts. Or maybe your cards are TOO negative, and you aren’t able to see the good in your situation!)
Storing Your Deck
                  ✨Deck storage is very important!✨
❤️  Please protect your cards! ❤️
Yes. PLEASE treat your Pokemon cards kindly, ESPECIALLY since you are now using them as a tool for divination! If you ask me, you should have already been protecting those cards already, but now it is even more important to do so. Now that you are using these cards for readings, they are going to get shuffled a lot more! If you were only holding these Pokemon cards in binders and boxes, and not using them to actually play the TCG, then you may not be familiar with how much the cards can wear out and be torn up.
There are plenty of things that can damage your cards:
Rain
Humidity
Heavy shuffling
Improper storage (can cause warping and bending
Unwashed hands (and I’m not just talking COVID-19, I’ve ruined cards with sticky hands before.)
Protecting your cards from damage not only increases the lifespan and quality of them, but it also makes the deck feel better all around. Tarot readers put their decks in pouches, leather deck holds, deck wraps and so many other lovely things. We as Pokemancers have our own storage methods as well.
I recommend getting a TCG deck box and card sleeves from one of these places:
Your local game shop
The Pokemon Center Website
Walmart, Target, Amazon, Ebay, etc.
You can also get some beautiful custom boxes from Etsy.
If you want, you can then put that deck box full of your cards into a tarot/oracle pouch, tuck it away in a wrap, or place it on your shelf.
Another way that you can protect your cards is by performing your readings on a reading mat or cloth. These mats and cloths can be found on Etsy, anywhere that you can purchase witchcraft materials, or you can make your own with some fabric!
Or, if you want to stick with the spirit of Pokemancy, buy yourself a Pokemon TCG playing card mat.
Bonding with your deck
So now you’ve got your deck, what’s next? Now, you want to take some time to get to know your deck. The more you know your deck, the better your readings will be. Think of your deck as a friend. The better the connection, the easier it will be to get along.
The most practical way to understanding your deck is by reading with it. For today’s tutorial, I threw a quick deck together in order to show you guys some examples on how to read with your new divination tool. Ignore the fact that the cards are naked, I ran out of card sleeves.
Let’s break down a simple reading together:

I asked this deck: what can I do to set myself up for success?
Next, I shuffled the deck and pulled five cards. The top three cards are a classic past, present and future layout, while the bottom two give me some advice for the present.
When reading individual cards, I use everything on the card. But, let’s start simple and only focus on the three main points: the flavor text, the attacks and the card art.
Past: Duskull
The flavor text of this card reads: It doggedly pursues its prey wherever it goes. However, the chase is abandoned at sunrise.
The Pokemon has two attacks: Dark Guidance and Spooky Shot
The card art has a picture of Duskull weaving through a room, possibly abandoned due to the graffiti on the walls.
What does all of this suggest? In the past, I worked myself way too hard, often through the night until the sun rose. My form of guidance was putting me in a dark space, and it was pushing me to a point where I was abandoning a lot of things that were important to me.
Present: Morelull
The flavor text of this card reads: It scatters spores that flicker and glow. Anyone seeing these lights falls into a deep slumber.
The Pokemon has one attack: Ram
The card art has a picture of Morelull standing in the woods, illuminating the dark.
What does all of this suggest? Right now, I am pretty worn out from working too hard, to the point where all I want to do is sleep. However, I’m starting to see what I did wrong with my routine in the past, illuminating some possibilities for improvement.
Future: Noctowl
The flavor text of this card reads: Its eyes are specially adapted. They concentrate even faint light and enable it to see in the dark.
The Pokemon has two attacks: Hypnoblast and Night Raid
The card art shows Noctowl perched on a tree branch against a clear sky, head tilting like it knows something.
What does all of this suggest? In the future, I will be able to focus on the light side of things, or the good parts of life, even when I am surrounded by a lot of darkness (stress, bad mental health, etc.) Even if I am in a tough place right now, my future is bright.
Advice Card #1: Timer Ball
Trainer cards do not have any attacks or basic flavor text, it only has the card’s description. This is also an item card, which limits my ability to find meaning in the card art. However, I can relate this card back to the Timer Ball’s use in the Pokemon games.
The Timer Ball’s catch rate increases the longer you are in battle with a wild Pokemon.
What does all of this suggest? The more I work on myself now, the better my outcome will be in the future. I should not rush for my final outcome.
Advice Card #2: Pokemon Fan Club
Again, this is a trainer card, with no attacks or flavor text. Unlike the Timer Ball though, the Pokemon Fan Club has some more depth.
The Pokemon Fan Club is an organization spread throughout the Pokémon world, with at least one club house in nearly every region. The club is considered a place for people to meet and chat about their favorite Pokémon and to show off their collections to each other.
What does all of this suggest? I should look to friends and groups of like-minded people (such as my classmates or people in my different communities) for support and drive right now.
Once you finish the reading, you can shuffle the cards back into the deck, thank it for its message, and then put it into storage.
And there you have it! See how simple that was? As you get to understand your cards more, you can use the numerology of the Pokemon’s height, weight and Pokedex number, the Pokemon’s typing, whether or not it is a basic Pokemon or stage 1 or 2 Pokemon, and so on. Don’t overwhelm yourself though! Start with a few factors of the card, and then add on more once you’re confident.
Just about every tarot spread can be adapted for your Pokemancy deck. Try out a few and see how your cards respond to them!
Conclusion
Making a Pokemon TCG oracle deck can be a lot of fun! It’s accessible for those who are still in the closet with their witchcraft/paganism (you can just tell people that you’re collecting Pokemon cards), it has a nostalgic factor, and it’s exciting when you learn about the depth of these cards. There are so many combinations that you can come up with, so go out there and make the deck of your dreams.

🔥 Fire Safety Tips — For Witches 🌞
I just want to share some of my tips, as someone who has been practicing witchcraft for almost 20 years, for working with fire (as it relates to safety):
🔥 Buy a cauldron : I use mine for burning herbs, incense, candles, paper, fabric etc. I have one with just salt in it that I use to burn my small tapered candles and incense. It’s one of the most useful tools in my practice.
“Can Salt Burn? No, salt does not burn. It can melt at an extremely high temperature (800°C/1472°F), but this is unlikely to happen in everyday surroundings. Salt is made up of sodium and chloride, which come together to form a highly reactive bond.”
🔥 Don’t burn candles for more than 4 hours : Even if you’re in the room the entire time, it’s recommended that you don’t burn a candle for longer than 4 hours.
“If you burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time, carbon will collect on the wick, and your wick will begin to "mushroom." This can cause the wick to become unstable, the flame to get too large, your candle to smoke, and soot to be released into the air and around your candle container.”
🔥 When burning things like paper, in your cauldron, fill the bottom with sand first : I’ve found that it helps avoid any flames from getting too high or out of control.
“Because its primary constituent is silica (SiO2), which is already oxidized, sand cannot burn. This is why it works as an effective firefighting method, which can extinguish fires by cutting off the oxygen supply and absorbing flammable liquids.”
🔥 Make sure that you triple check that nothing in the immediate area of any open flame is combustible or flammable : This means don’t burn something on a plate that’s sitting on an alter cloth lol. Or don’t spray anything into the air (like perfume or air freshener) around an open flame.
Be safe witches :)
