“Doesn’t it frustrate you—” Meg began, speaking up where she usually would just keep her mouth shut. “—that you don’t know what Hothead is up to except during winter time?” A questioning brow rose and she shifted her weight to one side of her hips. The two were really only 3 months of the year together. The brunette herself wouldn’t be able to settle for that if it were her. Then again, perhaps she had more standards than many others. Not that she would judge the goddess’ taste in men for her own hadn’t been all that well either. Then again, liking Hades was like hitting rock bottom.

“He could be screwing with another for all you know. Besides, your mom is right to be upset; you really can do better.”

❝ Shows what YOU know! ❞ Persephone pointed an accusatory finger in the mortal’s direction. Lotus eyes glistened as if she had a dirty secret begging to be shared. ❝ I’m very good friends with the FATES,I’ll have you know. We work together, from time to time, but they have the BEST gossip! ❞

Crossing her wisteria arms, the GODDESS seemed insecure for a ghost of a moment before she started pacing in an attempt to hide it. ❝ They keep me in the ‘know’ when I can’t be around. Nothing too creepy like reading his scrolls behind his back or anything. I just wanna know WHEN or IF he’s up to any trouble I should be concerned about. ❞

Defensively, her voice raised just a tad echoed throughout the cavernous halls of the UNDERWORLD. ❝ It’s called looking out for yourself. Never know when a guy is gonna pull a fast one on ya, y’know what I mean? ❞ Who was she trying to convince? Megara or herself?

Well, ‘cept for the powers, crazy family, & immortality.❞ Pausing a beat, Persephone’s eyes widened once she realized what she’d said. ❝Oh, actually! You don’t have to worry about that. Herc-y forfeited everlasting life for YOU. Aren’t you special. Guess that means I’ll see both of ya downstairs someday soon, huh? I’ll be sure the honeymoon suite is ready upon your arrival.❞ She winked. The goddess’ morbid humor was indeed an odd way of offering support to one of Hades’ past pawns...but it was HER way. Perhaps she felt some pity for Megara. Of course, she had heard the story. Aphrodite sure loved to gossip. None of that mattered though, for the past was the past, & soon she would be wed to Zeus’ very own son. It was I M P R E S S I V E, to say the least. Sympathy aside, the goddess of the UNDERWORLD held an utmost respect for the mortal woman.  ❝Y’know, you’re not half bad, Meg.❞

D I V I N I T Y  ( I’m in the process of cleaning up this blog. Mun recently returned to the wonderful world of tumblr rping. Wow, things have changed. Is that cosplay roleplaying I see? Interesting. Anyway, @sxphir​ & @kingcfthieves​ have also been brought back from the grave. I may get back into my Persephone & Saphir edits soon, since icons are kinda a thing here still. I miss editing anyway. :’) I need to completely redo my Persephone edits anyway. I was previously using animated Giselle as my base...& she has very little screen time. So I'm switching to Ariel's sisters as a base. Way more caps. You can see I did one edit like that in the icon I'm using here. Haven't edited since like...2015, so I may be rusty. Or better than before. Who knows! Lol. Please like if you’re interested in a starter from Persephone! )

       D I V I N I T Y.    ( hello everyone. i’m sure you’re already aware, but due to my long      ass absence, i've been on a quiet hiatus trying to get my real life      together. i’m a girl suffering from body image issues & i’ve decided      to stop whining about it. i’m taking charge. since the beginning of      the year, i’ve been working out a lot & eating healthier/smaller. i’m      actually down 8 pounds already ! anyway, i hope to be back soon,      but we will see what happens. :) this is an official hiatus. )
