*깨복쟁이 is a phrase from the Jeolla Province that literally means “naked person”. However, it is typically used with 친구들 as in 깨복쟁이 친구들 to describe old, childhood friends. What is unique about this word is that it talks specifically about friends who have known each other since they were little, or at a point in life when they could play together naked without being embarrassed or feeling self-conscious.

hey so my friend from college, natalie has been missing for seven, going on eight days. she was headed to a conference in albany on the 5th of June, but the police report that she never made it there… she has not reached out to anyone, nor has anyone (including her mother) been able to contact her. this was posted on FB like last night, asking people to share. please reblog this and help find natalie. as soon as i get new information i’ll update this post. please boost, y’all, especially if you have friends/live in upstate ny.

제 첫 쓰기 연습

….쓰는 것을 되게 어렵다고 생각이 많이 해요. 그런 부정적인 생각때문에 제가 이야기를 써본 적이 하나도 없어요. 짧은것도 안 해봤어요. 머리에 쓰고 싶은 말이 있는데 써야 할 때가 되면 손가락이 갑자기 움직 할 수 없어요 ㅋ. 웃긴게는 단어를 진짜 많�� 배웠는데 사용할 기회가 없었어요. 아니…‘기회가 없다'라는 표현을 사용한다기보다는 두려워서 그래요. 뭔가 틀리게 될까 봐 걱정했고 두려웠어요. 실수 없이 완벽하게 쓰고 싶었으니까요. I don’t even know why I was scared to write. It’s not as if my life was on the line or anything xD

아무튼 더 이상 두렵진 않을 거예요!
