Mornings

Marcus Moreno x male! reader Drabble

A/N: I got bored and decided to make a place filler for my upcoming fic- watch this space!!

Mornings sunlight filtered through the curtains of Marcus’ and your bedroom, falling onto your faces and stirring you from your sleep. Being a light sleeper in early spring came with downsides, as the sun woke you up before your alarm could.

However, the sight of Marcus’ sun kissed skin and soft beard, eyes closed and beautiful eyelashes a dark cohocalte in the sunlight, well, the lack of sleep became a distant thought.

You pressed a tender kiss to his cheek and he slowly blink his eyes open, lips slightly parted. He subconsciously pulls you into his chest where he rests his chin on top of your head.

“Morning, sunshine” you whisper, rub in the palm of your hand across the expanse of his chest, peppering gentle kisses along his collarbone.

“Mornin’…” he droned, half awake half still asleep. His lips curled up at the feeling of your hand and lips on him, and he let out a low content hum, voice thick with sleep.

“Work?” He questioned, still unable to form full sentences though he got the point across. You shake your head and mumble a soft “not today love”. He hums again with a larger smile and rolls over onto you, smooshing you slightly bit in a Comfortable way, with the eighth amount of pressure on your rubs to feel like a hug so tight he was melting into you, it made you feel like you two were one.

You gently run your fingers through his curls and he groans in delight “slow Mornin’ today sweet boy” it was intended to be a question but it came out as a statement. You nod and rub your hands up and down his back, tracing lazy shapes onto his spine and feeling the soft fabric of his shirt. (Your shirt at one point although he’d insisted it was always his)

You stay intertwined in one another for hours, the warm sun waking up with you as you listen to the bird song and cuddle together.

Slow mornings are always the best with your husband.

Y’all omg crazy theory but I was just thinking about avatar (Dave Cameron’s version) and I was thinking maybe in the next movie miles will persuade spider to join the RDA through offering him ana avatar, as he knows that’s what spider wants- he craves to be seen as one of the people and to have that connection with other na’vi.
