i will spell gardu as bleeglorp and use dabayee garbloopy. i would watch Action on Television all night while drinking a Juice on the Rocks with my Household. i’ll have Bowl of Cereal every day that’s worth 5 Simoleons. i would go to Oasis Springs every night. i am also more likely to meet ghosts, The Landgraabs, Grim Reaper, and Mortimer Goth.

Important! Sims 4 cas.fulleditmode bug

If you have the new Sims 4 EP Growing Together, you need to know that there's a bug with cas.fulleditmode and Sims with added traits (beyond the basic 3 traits). If you trigger this bug, all your household Sims will have the same name and your CAS UI will be corrupted. Worse, this bug can spread to other Saves.

You can avoid this bug:

Back up your saves outside the game folder before you play. Make this a habit. Don't rely on an automated online backup (like Drive) to do this; there are known issues with this.

Save before entering cas.fulleditmode. That way, when you do the next thing, you haven't lost a lot of gameplay. You might be fine if you're not touching Traits in CAS, but play safe!

If you encounter the bug in CAS, exit without saving.

Before you open a new save, exit and restart the start.

There is not a mod for this bug. When this bug is resolved, I'll updated this post.

Colour Of Magic - A First Fits Kit Recolour

It's??? Finally done???? Someone pinch me.....ANYWAY buckle up for one hell of a long post lmao. If you don't want to read the whole thing, the TLDR of it all is: every single item from the First Fits Kit, recoloured with a BUNCH of different swatches including solids, mix-and-match patterns, and hand-drawn graphics (inspired by the copious amounts of clothes I buy my nephews) - and it's all base game compatible. Very colourful, very bright, and hopefully, very fun! Hopefully this will make the tragically beige-reality of the actual kit become little more than a bad, bland dream.

All joking aside, this was actually really fun - if not slightly stressful - to do, and I'm actually pretty pleased with it. I love all things colourful and quirky, so was a bit disappointed by the very muted swatches for this kit. I really hope some of you like it! Oh, and it's called Colour of Magic for no reason other than the fact I'm rereading the Discworld novels at the moment asdfghjhgfdsa. ANYWAY details, previews and downloads under the cut!

SMOKE SENTRY FIRE ALARM - a TS2 Inspired Override

𝙷𝚎𝚕𝚕𝚘 𝙵𝚛𝚒𝚎𝚗𝚍𝚜 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙵𝚒𝚛𝚎 𝚂𝚊𝚏𝚎𝚝𝚢 𝙴𝚗𝚝𝚑𝚞𝚜𝚒𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚜!

Sometimes you find yourself sitting on a discord call with friends and someone asks, can you make this for the sims 4? And you say yeah why not? And after a couple hours of meshing, texturing, and mostly remaking it 4 times to figure out why it’s not working, why isn’t it working, it’s supposed to animate, what am I doing wrong, oh god, everything is on fire, who thought more extreme fires was a good idea, to only realize the game is very picky and this is one of those things that you have to make an override for. Hence why you don’t see a lot of fire alarm CC out there. And then voila, fire alarm.

Anyway.

It does all the things you’d expect it to do. Shout out to my dear friend  ?̸̡̺̭̝̥̟̖̈̿͂̐̚?̵͙̻͉͔̞̄̓̓̂̒͗͗?̷̛̱͔͖̆͂͒͒̌́̈́̋͝  who asked me to make it in the first place and art directed me as we worked on it.

The Collector’s Challenge is a multi-round gameplay challenge based on collecting items for each round and, ultimately, completing the household collection list. This Challenge is entirely based on the Collector’s Legacy Challenge by @simdiv so all credit goes to them (thank you!!). I only modified this as a non-legacy version. If you’re into legacy challenges you NEED to try theirs out! 

*To find the household collections in-game, open your sims inventory, click the diamond in the top right of the box and boom, collections*

Rules: 

No cheating! The purpose is to enjoy the gameplay and find out new things you haven’t discovered before!.

You may start with a starter lot - use skills and your job (if the round requires it) to build/buy what you need. Remember, you can sell your house if you are moving in the next round!

You may use an existing Sim but their household funds should be no higher than 20,000 Simoleons.

Keep your collectibles! They can be helpful in other rounds and, of course, bring in some much needed funds if you get duplicates by selling them!

Aging can be on or off (aging on might add a little more of a challenge).

Some rounds require certain packs. If you do not have a pack, skip the round!

Use the hashtag #ts4collector so we can all see your gameplay!

Good luck and have fun! This is the MOST IMPORTANT RULE! Switch around the rounds, skip a round! Make the challenge work for you!
