i think if harry decides to top on ng, a lot of readers are gonna get mad. (im not against it though, but i think some readers get mad because harry is always top in drarry or other ship so idk.)😅

well I dunno what goes on in the drarry world, but I’m interested in what everyone defines ‘top’ as tbh. Like i think I know what most people mean with that, but if I’m correct then it’s a pretty narrow view of sexual dynamics. Anyway I’m going to write what I’m going to write, whatever that ends up being in NG, and if people get upset that it doesn’t fit their exact image of what they wanted to happen with this ship that they enjoy, they should probably take it as a sign that they need to start writing their own stuff. Honestly that’s one of the main reasons I started writing ff. I kept reading things and getting to points where I would think ‘no no, xyz should have happened!’ and then I realized that’s stupid of me, they can write whatever they want and it was a privilege for me to enjoy what I did… and I should solve my own problems by doing the work of writing instead of being a whiny entitled twat.

I don't do passage sneak peaks, just because I sometimes change so much before I do the final pass and upload. But I can give some details!

The upcoming update will be a double update - a long interlude, followed by a regular chapter a day or so later.

During the interlude my only request is people have "Call Me Maybe" on standby to listen to, at a specific part.

And as for the next chapter - well, the Riddle House is going to be fuller than ever, and—despite many spirited requests to murder him—Cedric will be alive and present in Chapter 13. ^v^

saw that eye-opening post going around about using hit/kudos ratio to determine what to read

it never occurs to me to use kudos/hits etc to find a fic; it’s entirely about the tags and the summary, both of which cease to matter too much if i know the writer is talented.

i feel like only a moron would determine if they wanted to read a fic by ratios, but perhaps it’s a consequence of social media babies growing up and thinking ao3 is like the rest of the big tech hellscape xD
