Former Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, sometimes referred to as MS Dhoni, is recognized as one of the best cricket captains of all time. Dhoni, who was born in Ranchi, Jharkhand, on July 7, 1981, made his international debut in December 2004 and has since gone on to become one of the greatest cricketers in Indian history. Before converting to cricket at the age of 16, Dhoni started out as a goalie for his school's football squad. He began his playing career for Bihar in domestic cricket as a middle-order batsman and wicket-keeper. 2004 saw Dhoni's breakthrough performance as he led India A over Pakistan A with a century that sealed the victory. He made his Indian debut against Bangladesh in an ODI in December 2004 and quickly earned a name for himself as a dependable wicketkeeper and powerful middle-order batsman. Dhoni made his international debut in 2005 by scoring a scorching 148 against Pakistan in an ODI played at Vishakhapatnam. Following that, he put on a run of ODI and T20 match-winning performances. When he led India to victory in the first T20 World Cup in 2007, Dhoni had his finest moment as a cricket player. One of the most famous moments in Indian cricket history occurred when he hit the winning six against Pakistan in the championship game. He later went on to captain India in all competitions, helping them to their first-ever number-one Test cricket ranking in 2009. India finally won the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011 under Dhoni's captaincy, ending a 28-year trophy drought. He made history by becoming the first skipper to take home the Champions Trophy in 2013, the 50-over World Cup in 2011, and the T20 World Cup in 2007. Dhoni was referred to as "Captain Cool" by supporters and colleagues because of his ability to remain composed and composed under duress.
