I was trying to explain Hozier to a shadowy figure of a straight person. Kept saying, “You know, the Take Me To Church guy!” They were not getting it and I panicked because I didn’t know how to explain him without outing myself.

To Our Future Together
pairing: luke castellan x reader
genre: fluff
summary: one night while laying under the stars, you and luke begin to wonder what the stars have fated for your futures together.
warnings: really sappy, not proofread
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seated on a quiet hillside overlooking the ocean, you and your long-term boyfriend shared dreams beneath the canvas of a star-studded sky. The night's serenity lent itself to discussions into the realm of shared futures.
“I might be crazy to say this, but do you ever wonder what our lives will be like once this is all over?” As you raised the question, you noticed Luke’s heartbeat deciding on a quicker pace within his chest that your head was resting on.
“What exactly do you mean by that? If you’re talking about any sort of future together then I’ll be the first to admit I’ve thought a little too much about how good Y/n Castellan sounds,” he says with a slight smirk.
“It does have a good ring to it, doesn't it?” you laughed along with him, “but i guess i more meant that once everything changes, or once we have to leave camp half-blood, what happens to us?”
“I need you to know I am being so serious when I say that you’re it for me. I genuinely don’t think a life without you is possible. The only future I see for myself is one with you, me, and four to five miniature versions of us.”
You found comfort in the warmth that flooded Luke's gaze. You could see it in his eyes, how his once-turbulent past seemed to fade away as he embraced the idea of a family with you, one that echoed with echoes of joy and the pitter-patter of tiny feet.
“I one hundred percent agree with everything you said, except the only thing is how I thought I heard you use the number five when talking about how many times I’ll have to go through childbirth,” you teased, “but feel free to correct me if I heard wrong.”
“You’re not hearing things, love. I did say five but I actually dream about ten little ones running around, I'll take as many as you’re willing to give me,” he teased with a chuckle. “Realistically, though, I don’t care much about the details as long as I have you.”
Luke's fingers gently entwined with yours as you began to paint a picture of the life you envisioned together. With sincerity in his eyes, he listened to your hopes and aspirations, nodding in agreement as you spoke of a home filled with love and laughter.
You spoke of raising children who would inherit the strength and kindness you saw in Luke, a blend of mortal and demigod virtues. His eyes sparkled with a mixture of anticipation and affection as he imagined teaching them about the world and the lessons he had learned.
Together, you crafted a vision of a life where bedtime stories were spun with tales of adventure and the glory days, and bedtime kisses were accompanied by whispered promises of protection and love.
Luke, once with a lost purpose of life, now saw a future intertwined with the legacy of your shared love. The prospect of a future filled with family became a beacon of hope, a testament to the healing power of love.
And so, beneath the stars, the two of you embarked on a journey of dreams, each whispered promise sealing the foundation of a future built on love, trust, and the belief that together, you could weather any storm.
"That explains a lot"
pairing: luke castellan x reader, percy jackson x half sister!reader
genre: fluff
summary: a short little blurb where percy finds his older sister in comprising situation with his friend/mentor
warnings: kissing, persassy
~~~~~~~~~
A warm summer evening at Camp Half-Blood finds you and Luke Castellan stealing a quiet moment by the lake, in your hidden spot that the two of you have reserved for moments like this one, where your lips are attached.
Hidden by the shadows of the trees, you and Luke share an intimate embrace, lost in the magic of the moment. Unbeknownst to both of you, Percy Jackson, your younger half-brother, approaches the lakeside, unaware of your relationship.
As the moonlight dances on the water, Luke leans in, capturing your lips in a tender kiss. The world fades away, and for a brief moment, it's just the two of you. However, your stolen moment is abruptly interrupted when Percy, with a playful grin, stumbles upon the scene.
His eyes widened in surprise,  the unexpected sight before him. Luke, realizing is slightly taken aback, releases you from the kiss, and the air becomes thick with a mixture of awkwardness and surprise. As you and Luke catch your breaths after being so unaware of the time, Percy blinks in disbelief. He stands there processing the scene before him as a thousand thoughts race through his mind.
After an awkward pause, you and Luke exchange sheepish glances, realizing the need for an explanation. Percy may technically only be your half brother, but as forbidden children with only each other’s presence in cabin 3, the two of you share an incredibly close bond. Due to this fact, Luke was preparing himself to deal with the anger of his girlfriend’s younger brother.
Percy, breaking the silence, manages a grin, "Well, I guess that explains a few things." Despite the initial shock, Percy's acceptance surprises you, and he adds, "Just try not to make out in every secret spot at camp, okay?"
Laughter erupts, breaking the tension, and the three of you share a moment of camaraderie. Percy, though caught off guard, proves to be more understanding than expected.
That night as you and Percy were walking back to the Poseidon cabin, your younger brother decides to tease you about your newly-revealed relationship with the son of Hermes.
"Other than the fact that the sight of my sister locking lips with my mentor is permanently engraved in my brain, I'm happy for you y/n/n" he sincerely says with a teasing chuckle.
"What can I say, he's a really good kisser-" you say ruffling his curly blonde hair.
"STOP I don't want to hear any more of those details!!" Percy frantically interrupts.
 As you and Luke navigate the complexities of your relationship, Percy, the mischievous half-brother, becomes an unexpected source of support.

hey! could you please do a character outline for styles-swift!reader <3
i hope you like this one 🤍
~~~~~~~~
styles-swift!reader grew up with almost no stability in her life. even though harry and taylor would try their absolute hardest to give her a somewhat normal life, there's not much you can do when the baby's parents are two of the most popular musicians of their time. for most of her childhood, she was either following one her parents around the world on a tour, or switching back and forth houses constantly. harry and taylor were AMAZING parents through it all for her though so it's not like it gave her any lasting trauma or anything though haha.
i feel like because she's so used to her whole world changing every so often, she's the most chill person you'll ever meet. she can go-with-the-flow quite easily, and just doesn't complain ever. but she's definitely not the kind of chill person that is quiet and/or shy.
she is the absolute life of the party. she knows how to have a great time in any given situation, and always makes the best out of everything. she probably has the best sense of humor and can make anyone laugh (there's definitely videos out there of her being hilarious on social media).
but i also think she has the biggest heart. cares for her parents so much and is so proud of them (she 100% cried tears of joy when her mom told her about the re-recordings).
overall, she's just an absolute blast to be around, has the kindest soul, and is down to do literally anything.
do you think you can write a Chris x daughter!reader and she is a massive swiftie and just always listening to her music, always asking if she can buy merch, and something about her trying to get eras tour tickets and Chris just being supportive of this obsession?? btw love your work 🫶🏻🫶🏻
pairing: chris evans x daughter!reader
genre: so fluffy
summary: getting ready for a Taylor Swift concert but your dad is seriously lacking in the glitter department.
warnings: sparkles galore
A/N yes i know i've already written a fic along the lines of this request. did that stop me from writing another taylor swift concert related piece? obviously not. will there be another eras tour related fic coming to my blog soon? maybe, you'll have to wait and see.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
You had always been Daddy's little girl. I mean, being the daughter of a famous actor, meant you had your fair share of privileges in and of itself. But Chris did almost anything you wanted, having started when you were a baby but now is continuing into your teenage years.
However despite the glitz and glamour that came with your father's profession, there was one thing you had never experienced – attending a Taylor Swift concert.
Your love for Taylor Swift's music was more than just a casual fan's adoration. Her songs had been the soundtrack to many of your memorable moments. When the opportunity to see her in concert came, you couldn't have been more excited.
Your father, knowing your passion for Taylor's music, had a surprise in store for you.
The day finally arrived, and you found yourself dressed in an Eras Tour worthy dress. Between the glitter on your face, sparkles in your hair, and rhinestones all throughout your outfit, you were totally ready to experience the concert of a lifetime.
Chris, however, did not meet the standards of appearance for this sort of occasion.
"Dad, you'll look like an idiot wearing just a t-shirt!" you explained.
"Y/N love, it's literally a Taylor Swift t-shirt," he countered, making you realize exactly what the problem was.
"Maybe it's not the shirt, but it's the lack of pizazz! Luckily for you, your daughter is an expert in that department! Follow me!" You say as you drag your father toward where all you store your makeup.
"Nope, not happening" he laughed as he realized where you were taking him.
"Pleaseeeee" you begged, knowing he can't ever be against what you want. "It's the experience of a lifetime, we need to go all out!!"
"Sorry but I don't think I need glitter on my face, the t-shirt is enough." his response surprised you, knowing that he's never lasted this long saying no to you.
Thank goodness you have a final trick up your sleeve that has a 100% success rate so far.
"If you won't do it for Taylor fucking Swift, do it for your beloved daughter!" which makes Chris groan, but only for a moment before he reluctantly agrees, and gives into to your request.
So there you are, using a spray glitter bottle in your dad's hair, with the sparkly 13 you had drawn on his hand.
If it's not for Taylor Swift, then there is still a 100% guarantee that Chris can't say no to his daughter.

Can we please get some more Tom Cruise x daughter reader??????
pairing: tom cruise x daughter!reader
genre: fluff???
summary: as a sickness starts to get the best of you, Tom can't calm his worry for his daughter's health.
warnings: sickness, hospitals, lowkey kinda angst for a second but not really
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As you lay in your bed, feeling the weight of sickness pulling you down, your dad hovered nearby with deep concern etched on his face.
He was pacing back and forth, unsure of what to do as he gazed at his precious teenage daughter, his heart aching at the sight of you suffering.
"Dad," you weakly called out, your voice barely above a whisper. "I'll be okay. It's just a fever."
Tom rushed to your side, gently placing a hand on your forehead to check your temperature. "I know, sweetheart, but I can't help but worry. You mean the world to me, and seeing you like this breaks my heart."
His genuine concern touched your heart, even in your weakened state. You mustered a small smile, trying to reassure him, "I'll be fine, Dad. I promise."
But Tom couldn't shake off his worries. He decided that it was best to take you to the hospital to make sure everything was okay.
As he carried you in his arms to the car, you couldn't help but feel grateful to have a father like him – someone who cared so deeply for you.
At the hospital, Tom stayed by your side throughout all the tests and examinations. He held your hand tightly, offering silent comfort as you endured various procedures.
When the doctor finally came in with the results, Tom's heart pounded with fear, hoping for the best but fearing the worst.
"It's just a viral infection," the doctor explained, offering a reassuring smile. "With some rest and proper medication, she should be back on her feet in no time."
Tom let out a sigh of relief, and you could see the tension leaving his body. He thanked the doctor, grateful for the reassurance that you were going to be okay.
Back at home, Tom took extra care of you. He made your favorite soup and brought it to your bedside, ensuring you took your medication on time. He even stayed up late with you, telling you stories from his movie sets to keep your spirits up.
"Dad, you really don't have to stay up with me," you said, feeling touched by his constant presence.
Tom smiled warmly, brushing a strand of hair away from your forehead. "There's nowhere else I'd rather be, kiddo. You're my priority, and I won't leave your side until you're fully recovered."
His dedication and love made you feel safe and loved, and you knew deep down that you were lucky to have a father like him.
 Despite feeling unwell, you cherished these moments together, knowing that your dad was there to support you no matter what.
As the days passed, your health slowly improved. Tom was like a shadow, never leaving your side. He was there to celebrate the small victories of feeling a little better each day, and he was there to comfort you during moments of frustration when you weren't recovering as quickly as you hoped.
One evening, as you both sat on the couch, watching a movie together, Tom turned to you with a serious expression.
"You know, I almost lost you back there, and it scared me to my core."
"Dad," you replied, reaching out to hold his hand. "I'm sorry for worrying you, but I'm getting better now."
He smiled softly, squeezing your hand. "I know, but it made me realize how much you mean to me. You're everything to me, and I don't ever want to lose you."
You felt tears welling up in your eyes, moved by his words. "I love you too, Dad. I'm so grateful for everything you do for me."
Tom pulled you into a tight embrace, holding you close as if he never wanted to let go. "And I love you more than anything in this world, princess. You're my joy, my light, and I'll always be here for you."
With each passing day, your strength returned, and you began to feel like your old self again. Tom's loving care had played a significant role in your recovery, and you were thankful for his unwavering support.
As you both walked through the park one sunny afternoon, you turned to your dad and smiled brightly. "I'm feeling much better now, Dad. Thank you for being there for me."
Tom grinned, ruffling your hair affectionately. "You're welcome, sweetheart. I'll always be here for you, no matter what. My love for you is unconditional."
As you continued to slowly but surely recover, you and your dad to spent more quality time together. In the end, this stressful experience brought you even closer to your father.
As the days turned into weeks and weeks into months, you fully recovered, but that didn't stop Tom from worrying about you
pairing: harry styles x daughter!reader (brief mention of taylor x daughter too)
genre: fluff
summary: a moment with a father, his daughter, a massive stage, and a crowd full of thousands
~~~~~~~~~~~~
The anticipation in the air was electric as the stadium lights dimmed, casting a warm golden glow on the massive stage. The crowd erupted into deafening cheers, their excitement vibrating through your entire being.
You clung to your father's hand tightly, your heart pounding in sync with the bass thumping from the speakers.
Harry Styles, the man who stole millions of hearts with his soulful voice and charming smile, stood center stage. His eyes twinkled with a mix of nerves and excitement.
He glanced down at you, his precious daughter, and grinned. "Ready, love?"
You nodded enthusiastically, unable to contain the bubbling joy within you. This was a moment you had dreamt of for as long as you could remember—to share the stage with your talented father.
As the first notes of a lively, infectious tune filled the air, the spotlight found its way to the two of you, and the crowd's applause grew even louder.
With a twinkle in his eye, Harry gently tugged your hand, and you both took your first steps onto the grand stage. The atmosphere was exhilarating, a dreamlike energy coursing through your veins.
As if by instinct, you began to move in sync with the music, your feet carrying you effortlessly across the vast expanse of the stage.
Your father matched your steps effortlessly. He twirled and spun, his voice filling the stadium with its warmth, while you mimicked his every move.
The crowd was enchanted, captivated by the pure joy radiating from the stage. Their cheers fueled your spirit, pushing you to dance with even more energy.
As the song reached its peak, Harry scooped you up into his arms, spinning you around in a dizzying display of love and excitement... which was impressive, considering you aren't a little kid anymore.
The audience roared with approval, and you felt like the luckiest person in the world, cradled in your father's embrace.
With a small grin, Harry set you down gently, and the two of you began to weave through the stage.
The lights flashed and colors swirled around you, creating a kaleidoscope effect that mirrored the excitement bubbling inside you.
The crowd cheered and clapped along, caught up in the magical moment of a father and his daughter sharing their love of music.
As the music began to fade, your father knelt down in front of you, his eyes filled with adoration.
"You were amazing, y/n," he whispered, brushing a stray lock of hair behind your ear.
Your heart swelled with pride and affection. "Learned it from the best," you laughed, your voice filled with awe.
The crowd erupted into applause once more, their admiration filling the air. Your father stood up, grabbing your hand one final time, and you waved to the crowd, your smiles reflecting the happiness that radiated from within.
This moment would forever be etched in your memory—a precious bond between a father and his daughter, celebrated on a stage that held the dreams of millions.
As the lights faded and the cheers subsided, you clung to your father, feeling the rise and fall of his chest as he caught his breath.
He only had a very quick break to carry you off before he has to go back on-stage, but you decided to share one thought that's been going through your mind this whole time...
"After this Mom's gonna be bringing me on stage all the time from now on," you commented with a giggle.
"That she will be," he laughed along with you.
And as you disappeared into the wings and your dad returned to the stage, the world knew that the legendary Harry Styles had found his greatest joy—his daughter, the star that lit up his life.

Hey sunshine, it’s meeeeee!
So could you write something with Chris x daughter reader when she’s not having the best past couple of weeks because her brain just won’t let her communicate what she wants to (her brain just isn’t braining) and chris knows when she gets like this her anxiety is though the roof because she can’t explain anything it’s almost like her mind is just detached from herself it makes her panic badly. So it’s a lot of comfort, bluey and communication strategies because he knows it’s hard for her, so he gets scott to take her out because she’s hasn’t been out the house in a hot minute just to get her some fresh air and some of her comfort foods like apple sauce because it slaps. They just have a fun and slow couple of days until her brain finally decides it wants brain again, even if it’s as slow and spending a day in chris’ bed with bluey or going on a walk with Scott and dodger. Just comfort and to be able to slow down that’s all she needed

summary: when school gets to be too much, you're dad comes and saves the day
warnings: being overwhelmed
A/N: im so sorry that it took me long to respond to this, my dear! hopefully the wait was worth it and this can be all that you wanted it to be
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You sit at your desk, surrounded by what felt like a mountain of books, papers, assignments, and so on. School has become extra overwhelming lately, and you're struggling to keep up.
You had been working on your homework for hours at this point, and you were just about to reach your tipping point.
That tipping point came sooner than you thought as you finished what you assumed to be your millionth essay of the day, just to realize that you didn't save your progress.
That's when the tears started falling.
Just before you about ruined your art homework by crying, you head a gentle knock on your bedroom door. You sniffle, hastily wiping away your tears, and call out, "Come in."
The door creaks open, and you see your dad, standing there with a sympathetic smile. His presence alone is enough to provide some solace. You've always admired him—his kindness, his strength, and his unwavering support.
"Hey, kiddo," Chris says, stepping into the room. "I noticed you've been pretty stressed lately... and now you're crying so I'm a little concerned, mind if I come in and talk?"
You shake your head, and he walks over to your desk, taking a seat beside you. His comforting presence feels like a warm shield against the stress that surrounds you.
"What's been going on, y/n?" Chris asks, concern evident in his voice.
You take a deep breath and pour your heart out, sharing your struggles, fears, and frustrations. You talk about the constant pressure to excel, the feeling of never being good enough, and the anxiety that has been building up within you.
Chris listens intently, his eyes filled with empathy. When you finish, he places a hand on your shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"You know, you're doing a really good job, but i understand that it can be hard to do a good job sometimes" he says, his voice soothing. "But it's important to remember that you're not alone in this. We'll find a way to make it through together."
A glimmer of hope flickers in your eyes as you absorb his words. Your dad, understands your struggles and is determined to help you overcome them. Inspired by his unwavering support, you wipe away the remaining tears and give him a small nod.
"Alright, then," Chris says with a mischievous smile. "Enough of the studying for today. It's time for a break."
You raise an eyebrow, intrigued by his sudden shift in tone. "What do you have in mind?"
He stands up and extends a hand toward you. "How about we go on an adventure? We'll leave the books behind for a while and focus on having fun."
You hesitate for a moment, but the idea of spending time with your dad, escaping the suffocating stress, is too tempting to resist. And besides, you don't get chances to spend an entire day having fun with your dad instead of doing homework.
You reach out, your hand slipping into his, and he pulls you to your feet.
Chris leads you downstairs, and soon, the two of you are stepping out into the sunshine, Dodger's leash in hand. As the three of you walk together, he fills the air with his infectious laughter, making your worries melt away.
First, he takes you to a local park. You swing on the swings, feeling weightless as the wind rushes through your hair. He pushes you higher and higher, shouting encouragement and laughing alongside you.
Doing all this just like you did when you were a little girl. You finished at the park with a game of fetch with Dodger.
Next, you head to the arcade, where Chris challenges you to a series of friendly competitions. You cheer each other on, while both of you still want to be the winner.
As the two of you celebrate victories and laugh off defeats, all the stress and worry seem like distant memories.
When you're both worn out from games, Chris suggests grabbing ice cream. You eagerly agree, savoring each spoonful as you stroll through the city streets, talking about anything and everything. Chris listens intently, offering advice and sharing stories of his own struggles.
"Remember, kiddo," Chris whispers, his voice soft and comforting. "Life can get tough, but it's the moments like these that make it all worthwhile. You're strong, resilient, and capable of great things. Don't let the challenges define you."
His words resonate deep within your heart, filling you with newfound determination. With Chris by your side, you realize that you can face anything that comes your way.
After a good nights sleep, the next morning you settle back at your desk, ready to tackle your mountain fo work with a renewed sense of purpose. Armed with the love and support of your dad, you know you can do anything.
the scariest part about being a writer? pouring your heart and soul into this one fic that has taken literal months to piece together only to have this sick feeling in your stomach like it isn’t going to be a hit. not because it isn’t good, no, it’s worthy of a pulitzer, but just because readers won’t interact.
this is my message to my readers and all the readers out there: interact with your writer’s fics. someone can leave a seven word compliment along with a reblog on one of my stories and i’ll think about it for days. writers, good writers, have stopped writing because of the lack of feedback they get. nobody should get the amount of support to the point where they feel it’s worthless to do the thing they’re doing.
readers. like. reblog. leave a comment.
That's when the tears started falling.
Just before you about ruined your art homework by crying, you head a gentle knock on your bedroom door. You sniffle, hastily wiping away your tears, and call out, "Come in."
The door creaks open, and you see your dad, standing there with a sympathetic smile. His presence alone is enough to provide some solace. You've always admired him—his kindness, his strength, and his unwavering support.
"Hey, kiddo," Chris says, stepping into the room. "I noticed you've been pretty stressed lately... and now you're crying so I'm a little concerned, mind if I come in and talk?"
You shake your head, and he walks over to your desk, taking a seat beside you. His comforting presence feels like a warm shield against the stress that surrounds you.
"What's been going on, y/n?" Chris asks, concern evident in his voice.
You take a deep breath and pour your heart out, sharing your struggles, fears, and frustrations. You talk about the constant pressure to excel, the feeling of never being good enough, and the anxiety that has been building up within you.
Chris listens intently, his eyes filled with empathy. When you finish, he places a hand on your shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"You know, you're doing a really good job, but i understand that it can be hard to do a good job sometimes" he says, his voice soothing. "But it's important to remember that you're not alone in this. We'll find a way to make it through together."
A glimmer of hope flickers in your eyes as you absorb his words. Your dad, understands your struggles and is determined to help you overcome them. Inspired by his unwavering support, you wipe away the remaining tears and give him a small nod.
"Alright, then," Chris says with a mischievous smile. "Enough of the studying for today. It's time for a break."
You raise an eyebrow, intrigued by his sudden shift in tone. "What do you have in mind?"
He stands up and extends a hand toward you. "How about we go on an adventure? We'll leave the books behind for a while and focus on having fun."
You hesitate for a moment, but the idea of spending time with your dad, escaping the suffocating stress, is too tempting to resist. And besides, you don't get chances to spend an entire day having fun with your dad instead of doing homework.
You reach out, your hand slipping into his, and he pulls you to your feet.
Chris leads you downstairs, and soon, the two of you are stepping out into the sunshine, Dodger's leash in hand. As the three of you walk together, he fills the air with his infectious laughter, making your worries melt away.
First, he takes you to a local park. You swing on the swings, feeling weightless as the wind rushes through your hair. He pushes you higher and higher, shouting encouragement and laughing alongside you.
Doing all this just like you did when you were a little girl. You finished at the park with a game of fetch with Dodger.
Next, you head to the arcade, where Chris challenges you to a series of friendly competitions. You cheer each other on, while both of you still want to be the winner.
As the two of you celebrate victories and laugh off defeats, all the stress and worry seem like distant memories.
When you're both worn out from games, Chris suggests grabbing ice cream. You eagerly agree, savoring each spoonful as you stroll through the city streets, talking about anything and everything. Chris listens intently, offering advice and sharing stories of his own struggles.
"Remember, kiddo," Chris whispers, his voice soft and comforting. "Life can get tough, but it's the moments like these that make it all worthwhile. You're strong, resilient, and capable of great things. Don't let the challenges define you."
His words resonate deep within your heart, filling you with newfound determination. With Chris by your side, you realize that you can face anything that comes your way.
After a good nights sleep, the next morning you settle back at your desk, ready to tackle your mountain fo work with a renewed sense of purpose. Armed with the love and support of your dad, you know you can do anything.
FIVE YEARS OLD
You sit cross-legged on the soft carpet of the living room, your favorite stuffed animals scattered around you. At five years old, you're growing up fast, so Taylor takes advantage of every moments the two of you spend together. Right now is one of those moments.
Taylor enters the room, a warm smile lighting up her face as she notices you waiting eagerly. She's dressed casually, wearing a cozy sweater and jeans, her signature curls cascading around her shoulders. With a playful twinkle in her eyes, she plops down on the couch opposite you.
"Hey there, my little superstar," she says, her voice filled with love. "Are you ready for something special today?"
Your eyes widen in anticipation. "What is it, Mommy?"
Taylor reaches for her guitar, which she always keeps nearby, and begins to strum a familiar tune. The opening chords of "Never Grow Up" fill the room, and you can't help but smile. Even while still being young, this song has always meant a lot to you.
As your mom starts to sing, her voice wraps around you like a warm hug. The lyrics, filled with heartfelt wisdom, remind you of the precious bond you share with your mother. They speak of cherishing every moment and embracing the magic of childhood.
You listen intently, your eyes fixed on your mom's gentle expression. She pours her heart into the song, and you can feel the depth of her emotions in every word. The way she looks at you, her love shining through, makes you feel like the most important person in the world.
As the song progresses, memories flood your mind. You remember the countless bedtime stories, the lullabies sung softly in your ear, and the tickles that made you giggle uncontrollably. And she has always been there, through the ups and downs, guiding you with unwavering love.
You watch a single tear escapes from her eye, and she pauses briefly to wipe it away. You reach out and take her hand in yours, feeling her warmth and the reassurance it brings. Together, you find strength in the music, in the shared experience of growing up, and in the bond that nothing can break.
As the last note ends, the room fills with silence, the melody still lingering in the air. Taylor gazes at you, her eyes filled with a mixture of pride and nostalgia. She pulls you into her arms, holding you tight.
"I love you so much, y/n," she whispers, her voice filled with tenderness. "You are my greatest treasure, and I will cherish every moment we have together."
You snuggle against her, feeling the steady rhythm of her heartbeat. In this quiet moment, you know that no matter how much you grow, how much the world changes, your mother's love will always be there to guide you.
TEENAGE YEARS
As you walked into the living room, you couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement in the air. Your heart fluttered with anticipation as you saw your mothe, sitting on the couch, a mischievous smile playing on her lips.
"Hey, sweetheart," Taylor said, patting the spot beside her. "Come sit with me."
You never know what to expect when your mom had that look on her face. But nevertheless, you sat down beside her, trying to hide the eagerness in your eyes. There was an air of secrecy about her, and you couldn't help but wonder what she had in store for you.
"Remember how I used to sing to you when you were little?" Taylor asked, a nostalgic glimmer in her eyes.
You nodded, a smile spreading across your face. Those moments had been some of the most precious memories of your childhood.
"I want to share something special with you today," your mom continued, her voice filled with tenderness. "Something I've been working on."
Your heart skipped a beat. Taylor had been teasing her re-recordings of her old songs for a while now, and she didn't even tell you when she would release them. You couldn't wait to hear what she had in store for you.
Taylor reached for her guitar, her fingers gracefully finding their place on the strings. The room was filled with anticipation, and you held your breath as she strummed the first chord.
As the familiar melody of "Never Grow Up" filled the room, tears welled up in your eyes.
The lyrics held a deep meaning that you hadn't fully grasped when you were younger, and now they resonated with your own journey of growing up.
As your mom sang, voice filled with emotion, you found yourself transported to a time when life was simpler.
Memories of playgrounds and scraped knees flooded your mind, and you realized just how much you missed those carefree days. But there was something bittersweet about those memories now, knowing that you could never go back to being that young and innocent again.
Taylor's voice cracked slightly on the chorus, and you saw tears glistening in her eyes as well. It was a song about letting go and embracing change, but it was also a reminder of the precious moments that would forever be etched in your heart.
As the final notes echoed through the room, you wiped away a stray tear and turned to Taylor, a mixture of gratitude and love in your eyes.
"That was beautiful, Mom," you whispered, your voice filled with emotion.
Taylor smiled, a tear trickling down her cheek. "I wrote that song when you were just a baby. It's always been my way of holding on to the moments we shared, even as you grow older. You'll always be my baby girl, no matter how old you get."
You hugged her tightly, feeling an overwhelming sense of love and comfort in her embrace. In that moment, you realized that growing up didn't mean leaving everything behind. It meant carrying the memories and the love with you as you embarked on new chapters of your life.
Taylor gently wiped away your tears, her eyes shining with pride. "You're becoming such an incredible young woman, and I couldn't be prouder. But never forget that you'll always have a home in my heart, no matter where life takes you."
You smiled through your tears, feeling a renewed sense of warmth and belonging. This was a moment you would treasure forever—a moment where your mother's music had touched your soul in a profound way.
The two of you sat on the couch, wrapped in a comfortable silence, basking in the afterglow of the song. In that moment, time stood still, and you couldn't have asked for anything more.
With a heart full of love and gratitude, you snuggled closer to Taylor, knowing that no matter how old you grew, the bond between you would remain unbreakable.
In this moment, surrounded by the music and your mother's unwavering love, you know that growing up isn't about leaving the magic behind—it's about carrying it with you, forever.
