a/n: i swear i’m writing the requests in my inbox but i couldn’t get this idea out of my head. enjoy my thoughts on how jj would treat the person he loves

jj would do anything for his friends, after all he’s known for his loyalty and protectiveness
so imagine him with someone he’s in love with
you can’t tell me i’m wrong when i say that if he notices that the strings of your shoes are untied, he’d be on his knees in a heartbeat to tie them.
“wait, wait —“ and he kneels on the ground in front of you.
“what are you doing, baby?”
“gotta tie your shoes, i don’t want you to fall on your face, sweetheart”
he knows you got him wrapped around your finger and he’s okay with it
always drives you wherever and whenever you want. his hand rests on your thigh as the other stays on the steering wheel while your job is to gawk at him and rest
“it’s not polite to stare, you know?” he teases when he notices your eyes on him.
“you’re just so pretty.”
and he’s putty in your hands.
he insists to pay every time you go out, even if you’re with friends. sometimes you try to slip some money in his pocket so that he doesn’t become homeless because of you.
but you don’t really mind him paying for nice and romantic dinners because after all you love that look of immense pride he gets when he realizes he can take care of you the way you deserve, so you let him.
“thank you for dinner tonight, baby.”
and he wraps his arm around your shoulders and wears that smile you love so much.
“you’re welcome, princess.”
we all know that physical touch is his love language, however jj loves to give you gifts. the look of surprise you have on your face whenever he comes home with a little gift for you is something that makes his chest warm and his love for you grow even more.
“j, you didn’t have to. what is this for?”
he shrugs as if he’s not beaming with pride for being able to afford to get you something that brings a smile on your face.
“walked by this little place and when i saw this, it made me think of you. you like it?”
you kiss his cheek and enjoy the blush that adorns them, “i love it, j. but i always love you more.”
he can’t sleep without you and in one way or another he has to have his arms wrapped around you.
he holds your hand and always has an arm around you
he looks at you as if you’re the only person in the world
if you spend the day together walking around and having fun and you start to get tired, you can bet he’ll give you a piggyback ride to the house without saying a word
“but j, you’re tired, i don’t wanna hurt you”
and he’s already bending down to pick you up.
“c’mon, princess, don’t make me beg”
how can you say no to that?
gives you compliments day and night, he literally can’t stop
“you’re so beautiful, princess”
“baby, i’m not even wearing any makeup and my hair’s a mess”
“and? you still are the most beautiful woman i’ve ever seen”
and if someone tries to mess with you? poor sucker. jj wouldn’t waste a second before defending you
“talk to my girl like that again and i’ll cave your face in”
oh he’s definitely the type of guy who would braid your hair and brag about how good it looks thanks to his ‘skills’
gives you his jacket when you’re cold
“j, you’re shivering, take the jacket back, please”
“i-i’m okay. a-are you s-still cold-d?”
“c’mon, i’ll warm you up”
goes absolutely feral when you wear his clothes, especially his sweaters that swallow you whole
“princess, if you don’t take that sweater off right now i’ll do it for you”
“j, baby, i can’t take it off. i’m not wearing anything underneath”
and he’s completely ruined.
he gives you his ring as a promise ring and you wear it all the time with pride
“my beautiful princess” as he kisses the ring that sits prettily on your finger
“i’m yours, baby. forever.”
in conclusion: jj loves to give you princess treatment almost as much as he loves you
