Hey guys! I realized it's been a while since I last posted on here, but boy do I have a big life update for you all!

Starting off, I've officially moved to NC with my lovely girlfriend @azure-seadragon! We're still getting settled into our apartment slowly but surely. It's a nice place and the best part so far is No Boys lmao It has its problems though, but fingers crossed we'll get those fixed here soon.

Additionally, I've managed to land myself a nice little job! Which is more of a relief than my new employer might know, considering I've been searching for almost a full year and nothing came around until now.

I'm also going to make a new sideblog sometime soon to showcase my artwork and anything else that might come up, such as youtube videos and stream announcements, so keep an eye out for that!

And just a final heads up, I'm going to go back to my old username soon! Or change it again completely. Everything else will remain the same, though!

Either way I hope you guys are doing well! I'll be aiming to return to tumblr more often now that life is finally starting to get back on track. There's still a long way to go but I'm finally feeling like I have more of a handle on things. Wish me luck (and drink some water)!

so, hi, i'm ira. i stuck all those pages of some of my comics up there ^ bc maybe you have seen some of my stuff around

anyway. besides drawing a bunch of comics about me yelling, i do art as a living, and my main way of doing that (my very old, very ornery wacom tablet) seems to have finally kicked it, and i am really not prepared for it to do that. i have been trying to save up for an upgrade/replacement for a long time, and i just have never been able to get a foothold, and now it's become urgent

i can't really take on more work than what i already do day to day; i might try to take some small traditional commissions when i'm able (and you can join my commission mailing list if you want to get a heads up when that happens), but in the meantime a replacement just really does not feel in my reach on my own so i've set up a kofi donation goal too.

it sucks to have to do this; please don't feel obligated and only donate if you're 100% in a solid spot financially yourself. i have the goal set for the replacement i would have hoped to get, but any amount will really really help me out and i really appreciate it. thank you so much

So I’m currently undertaking a very loose Legacy Challenge on the Sims4 and it’s been chaos so far. I’ve been on the fence about talking about it here on tumblr but I just need you all to know how obsessed I am with this lmao

I began with Cecelia, who moved into Henford on Bagley after a piece of land was left to her in her Great Grand-Uncle’s will. The rest of her family was confused as to why she was chosen to inherit the land, and many of them resented her for it. So, she cut ties and moved to start her new life raising animals, and growing crops.

Not long after moving in, she met Kieran - someone who wasn’t well liked or trusted in the town. Despite the warnings, she allowed her curiosity get the better of her, and she managed to befriend - and eventually fall in love with him.

Soon, Cecelia was pregnant, and Kieran mysteriously vanished from town during her pregnancy. After the birth of their first son, Kieran swiftly began changing for the better and became an excellent father to all three of their children: Cole, Lyric, and Kane.

Cole, the first born and second generation Heir, took after his mother in their love for cooking and baking. As soon as he was of age, he moved away, married his highschool sweetheart, and opened a bakery. While business boomed, Cole and his then-wife, Marlee, struggled to start a family. Frustrated, Marlee sought comfort, and ended up pregnant - with another man’s baby.

Heartbroken, Cole divorced Marlee. The only thing that kept him going was his bakery, and eventually a bright-eyed man named Deangelo, who provided comfort and compassion to Cole. The two fell in love, married, and now have a daughter named Charlene, or “Charlie”.

Meanwhile, Lyric strives to be famous, whether it be through music, acting, or any other means of doing so, by any means necessary. Along the way she met another celebrity. Hideki, a golden-retriever of a man who was popular in sports, until an injury forced him to retire. He now spends his time streaming sports-related news until he can heal and get back into his career. Lyric cozied up to him with the intent of climbing up the social ladder - but found herself enamored with this fool of a man. She tries not to think about the fact that she is doomed to outlive him.

Cole and Lyric’s little brother, Kane has dealt with much. Being much younger than his siblings, he has only just stepped foot into adult life. His parents, Cecelia and Kieran, have both recently passed, leaving him to his family’s old homestead. He has quickly grown to resent the place for how suddenly uncanny it is. How he grew up in it while it was full of life and love, and now empty. Lonely and in need of companionship, he took a trip to Sulani and met Nichole. The two became fast buddies, and later attended a party together where things got a little.. steamy. Taking it in stride, the two decided to formally get together. Though rumors are circling that she only got with him for his money.

Finally, Charlene is growing up fast. She is a soft-spoken young lady with a creative streak that could rival her Aunt Lyric’s given enough time. She’s a smart little cookie, and could be capable of great things.

Apparently Starbucks is now selling olive oil coffee (?!?!?!) and it’s causing people to shit like crazy. Which is hilarious to me because 1. I am from a culture famous for its consumption of both coffee and olive oil, and never in my fucking LIFE would I have thought to combine them and 2. Okay so here's my question: WHY NOT sort the new Monster Manual for 5.5e (it's not 5e fucking fight me) by CHALLENGE RATING instead of alphabetical order?

I would love nothing more than to have all the monsters in a certain challenge rating grouped together for easy access when building leveled encounters. I'd be happy to have all the CR 5 monsters and enemies all in one spot to easily flip through instead of having to flip all over the god damn book to find something!!!

Also! changing the monk's Ki points to "Spirit" points is ARGUABLY WORSE! Thanks I hate it! I am foaming at the mouth!
