The hustle and bustle was as alive as every other muggle city in the world, but Merlin, everything seemed to hit her like a freight train. The memories, the drama and pain and heart ache. The loneliness. Her brows furrowed but she felt Andy step up beside her as the pathway closed behind them.

After Five Years

It's been a long time since she left the giant doors of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry behind. It may have all ended in a blur, it may have all been a passing glance on a path that she never realized would change so drastically. Now Alice "Allie" Bennet lived the life she had always thought she wanted. She had the dream house she bought in Max's neighborhood, with it's red door and blue shutters, she had an office where she wrote her poetry and stories and she ran weekly writing classes at the local high school. 

Currently Alice found herself sitting in her study, bent over Sense & Sensibility just as she had so many times. On her desk stood the manuscript to her first finished novel that she never dared to try and get published. Around the small room you would find snippets of the life she led these past few years; the wall stacked with books she had acquired, first editions of her beloved favorites. You will find the tokens Max had returned to her from his trips around the world; a small bottle of Egyptian sand, a forever frozen snowflake from the first year's snow fall in NYC, a miniature kangaroo figurine from Australia. There was a single framed photo on her bare white walls; Max and her sitting side by side at her Hogwarts graduation. He had been stuck there for two more years and she spent that time working up the money to get everything she always thought she wanted. While he used that time to plan the adventures he had taken.

Her life, had not been as exciting. She kept true to herself, she wanted a normal life, and it seemed until now she had been able to do just that. But when Max returned from his adventures all the ability to deny her magic had crumbled down. Somehow he made her life magical, and she wasn't sure how to feel about that.

I'm so sorry to my RPFamily whom I have disappeared from, yet again. I was in danger of not graduating so trust me when my mother took my laptop and internet away from me, it was for my own good! But now I am back, and I hope I am still welcomed because I love you all so much, and miss you like hell, and if it weren't for you I don't think I would have keep my motivation to get through the last hurdle. 

I'm back and ready to take on the yelling and death threats for going poof

Alice let the easy smile remain on her lips, despite the twitch to let it fall. Of course not everything was okay. She was slowly driving herself mad, and soon, with no doubt, she would be just like her name sake- talking to doorknobs and little mice, seeing cats disappear and reappear with maniacal laughs. But she wouldn't tell Ben about that. It would just make her sound like a damsel in distress- and she swore she would never play that role again. "I'm fine." She said simply, not having the energy to come up with an entire intricate lie. "Where are you trying to sneak off to using The Room?" She asked nodding her head toward the door he held open.

Of course this time he seemed off and she was more hay wired than a wonky muggle computer but nonetheless she has realized they have always run into each other and it was only as of recently that they paid each other any mind. “Benjamin Peter!” She chirped from down the hall, smiling, though it seemed a bit rough from the panic mode she has inside. Everything seems too wrong.

"Would you like for me to sit next to you? I would think, like last time, you would prefer space." She leased him lightly. She has been a bit snippy with Max lately and was starting to feel sorry for it- and so she had been on the search for Hanna before her panic mode clicked on and she found Draco instead. But, just as she always had, and she was sure he has, they are able to hide it with ease, fake smiles (from her), and snippy comments (from both).

Ben sighed heavily, knowing he only had a little less then an hour to spare, and he just stood there in front of the door to the Room of Requirement, just staring at it. “Pull it together, Icefoot. Think about Leighas’, you can handle this, so just go in there.” he mumbled to himself, glancing around to see if anyone was there to see him. After checking the coast was seemingly clear, he took a deep breath, and placed his hand on the door.

He hesitated for a minute, not because he wanted to be free, but because he was concerned if he could just as easily break out. Shaking his head, the hufflepuff pushed the door open slightly and began to step into the room, when he heard his name from down the hall.

A small smile she shrugged. "I have sung before. Max use to take me to Opening Act for a while and I performed, but I always got too scared to sing in front of people." She peeked at him, "But you really are really good, Ben." She was tempted to call him Peter as their own inside joke but she wouldn't take a step that far.

Alice gave a gentle sigh as she listened, the little Ravenclaw entranced by the Hufflepuff’s performance. She loved his playing and he was extremely good. Finally, though, she piped up and let herself interrupt him; “You’re amazing.”

I rather surprised her that he had actually greeted with her and remembered her name. But his follow up made her smile, Now that sounds more like Draco. Nodding her head Alice offered a gentle smile, "Just keeping myself preoccupied." - So I won't go insane- "And saw you here, and it has been a while, so I thought I would come over and talk to you for a while."

Trapped Inside || Draco & Allie

Draco sighed some as he stared forwards in the Great hall, a fist against his uplifted cheek. It was a dull day…which was normal for most, sure. With the lockdown due to the surrounding dementors, students found the school either to be dreadfully boring and claustrophobic or the most entertaining place on earth—those were mostly the muggleborns. First years were playing on the moving staircases and one was currently in the hospital due to the idiotic incident. 

Draco?

He was….a bit neutral on the whole thing. Surprisingly enough. It was due to various reasons. First off, it delayed school, not wanting to stress out the students. Classes were every so-often days to keep things semi-organized and frankly he heard no word from the headmistress since the event that unfolded. He kept himself busy, however, whether it was assigning prefects around, patrolling around, practicing his patronus with Granger, hanging out with Astoria…or just taking advantage of sleeping in. He’d gotten sick recently and decided to stop it all and finally take an easy potion to rid it of his system. Perhaps the only reason he’d done so was to actually have a problem he could focus on and fix, knowing he could. The effects were slowly happening, creating a sickenly calm state for him.

A chirpy voice broke the silence and he turned his head slightly so his eyes could look up at a perky blonde Ravenclaw.

“Oh…hello..” He greeted. “Alice, right?” He tried to confirm then nodded, “Well, what do you want?”
