bad idea right

a/n: I was having a Random urge listen to Olivia Rodrigo, and finally had inspiration. Also if you see any grammar mistakes you didn’t. What’s grammar, never heard of it, and auto correct is not smart at all. Percy Jackson x reader

You hadn’t heard from Percy all school year but now it was summer and you knew it was a bad idea because the two of you were done. You told yourself he’s only a friend, that is how you ended it after all. “We can still be friends, right?” Of corse percy had asked that, and being the person you were you said yes. There he was walking to his cabin. You couldn’t help but think he was the hottest man alive. He looked at you, wait, he looked at you and winked. “You really shouldn’t stare like that.” “I know Annabeth, but…” then you felt your phone buzzing. You looked at it to see who it was. “Ah! Um I’ll be right back.” You hurried away to answer. “Hey, percy.” “Hi y/n, you wanna get together at the lake in a minute.” “Sorry I can’t. I’m with Annabeth.” “Oh. Well you wanna come over to my place after lights out? Tonight.” You knew you shouldn’t. you were going to invite the girls over, but… “yeah I’d love to.” “Great see you later, bye” you could here the grin in his voice. “Bye”

You walked to Percy’s cabin from yours thank goodness you didn’t live in the Hermes cabin that would make getting out impossible. Oh there he was Standing there smiling waiting for you at this door with a crazy smile on his face. Your phone buzzed, and as you expected it was Annabeth texting you. “Please tell me you didn’t go” you decided to text her “I’m going to bed” you saw Percy motion for you to hurry up and walk inside leaving the door open. You quickly followed. You kept telling yourself he was only a friend, that’s all you saw him as, but you knew it was a lie. When you got in he was sitting on his bed and reached out his arms for you. You waited a minute, and there it was the baby seal eyes, the ones you couldn’t resist. When you walked over he stood up, wrapped his arms around you, rested his head on your shoulders, and whispered, “we should’ve stayed together. I don’t want to let you go.” You knew this would happen, you knew it was a bad idea, but what’s life without a few, fun, bad ideas. “Mhm” you knew Percy was smirking even though you couldn’t see his face. He wrapped his arms around you tighter, “mine”. He then caused you to fall into the bed with him, and that is where the two of you stayed for the rest of the night.
