I find it really upsetting when leftists sexualize Abby Shapiro for having big boobs. Like Vaush going on about how she should show off her cleavage on twitch for money or how Xanderhal kept going on about her "milkers" in his streams about her. Because what's funny about it? prostitution is uniquely exploitative, prostitution expropriates women from their own bodies in a deeper way than any job ever could, and even in the most utopic society you can think of, prostitution would never be liberating for women, as prostitution is always about coercing women (by physical or economic means) into sex they would never be having otherwise. in that sense, prostitution will never be akin to work, prostitution will never be 'just like any other job.'

that is why prostitution is the best litmus test when it comes to leftist men. it's the moment they will either show they understand misogyny and recognize it as a form of oppression, or that they don't care for it and dismiss it as trivial. because the reason prostitution is uniquely exploitative is because it intricately associates capitalism and misogyny. when leftist men say "sex work is work", they are completely dismissing the misogyny inherent to prostitution to focus exclusively on capitalist oppression. they are saying fighting misogyny matters less than fighting capitalism. this is also one of the ways leftist men are failing at being intersectional, as prostitution is quite literally the most notorious demonstration of what happens when capitalism, misogyny and racism interact with one another
