Why does my family have to be so unwilling to hear me out and BELIEVE ME when I say that there's must be something wrong with me. I kept my feelings hidden for many years till i decided to tell my mom that i was suicidal.
We went to a psychiatrist and boom I have depression with symptoms of anxiety.
But there's still something wrong with me....I get the feeling that this...cant be me. But then I'm like "suck it up you're fine,you just doing it for attention "
But...am I?
Sometimes I wake up and I feel like I'm in a dream...like I cant control what I'm saying,or what I do...and it's like watching a stranger RUIN my life....
It's hard you know. But I try not to show it. I try so much to joke around and make people laugh when in reality I feel like I'll never have the life I want.
And the minute I decide to tell my family that MAYBE theres something wrong with me, all I get is "this is offensive to the people who actually are not okay,you fine." "No I dont believe you have some disorder stop finding excuses"
Do i have to act up in order for them to believe me? Do I have to do all the things that I'm hiding for so many years,in front of them?
Will they believe me then?

Think you eat too much to have a problem?
Many active people (women included) eat 3000+ calories a day and stay plenty lean.
The recommended daily calorie intake is 2000 for women and 2500 for men.
The recommended daily calorie intake for weight loss is 1500 for women and 2000 for men.
A 5-year-old needs about 1400 calories or more every day.

A very low calorie diet, also known as a starvation diet, is 800 calories a day or less. It is prescribed by doctors to obesity patients who need to lose weight quickly, is specially formulated to be nutritionally complete, and is monitored by medical professionals to prevent sudden cardiac arrest and death. It is considered an extreme diet.
600 calories a day or less is literal starvation.
