Another photoshop of Uttamatomakkin I did after seeing many people enjoyed the first one I did! Thank you everyone for sharing such kind words!
Again, I started doing these to give Uttamatomakkin some dignity back. I am tired of native american men being designed/drawed purposely ugly and insulting. Uttamatomakkin was a real man and he shouldn’t have been made into a joke just because of his appearance/race. So anyways here are my edits.
@neechees thank you so much for the correction!! His name is Uttamatomakkin! I don't know where I got Tomocomo from, that was a mistake!
Thank you so much for the praise as well 🥹 your art and re-draws of Pocahontas stills inspired me to photoshop Uttamatomakkin's character design because I was disgusted by the racist caricature disney made of him.
Again, Tank you so much!!
Tomocomo, before and after
Tomocomo was a real person and i didn’t like how his features were drawn and how disproportionate it was. The original looked more like a racist Caricature and I didn’t like it, so I decided to give him more dignity and try my best as an amateur photoshopper to make him look more proportionate.
if any of you can photoshop him more, that would be great!
This might explain why Bojack has always chased after women he realized he never wanted much to do with, because he always wanted his mother’s nurture but was never able to have it due to her negligence and emotionally abusive tactives. And Bojack resented male attention because male figures remind him of his father, a figure who was easier to be kept away from because of his occupation at work.Â
Instead of “internalized self-hatred of horses” route Doctor Champ was proposing, i think Bojack’s abusive parents could explain a queer person living his life in the closet.Â
Beatrice: “I wouldn’t drink anything from an open container, this town is full of AIDS.”
Bojack: “Mom, that’s not nice.”
So i have a headcanon that it’s because of scenes like this, Bojack is a closeted queer person.
The Narcissist “Portrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures)” painting featured in Bojack Horseman is based off of David Hockney’s painting. David Hockney is a known gay artist who has also explored same-sex depictions in his art.Â
Just adding this to another reason why i like to headcannon Bojack as a queer character.
Beatrice: “I wouldn’t drink anything from an open container, this town is full of AIDS.”
Bojack: “Mom, that’s not nice.”

Butterscotch: “So, here I am, being your mother. which I know is giving you all sorts of mixed up ideas about gender, while your brain is still loose and stupid. Just remember, if you become a queer later in life, it isn’t my fault. Don’t you sing those songs in your night club act called, “My Daddy Was My Mommy” while gazing longingly at a tangled string of pearls... Pearls are for ladies, Bojack. Pearls are for ladies...”
Adding this scene to my headcanon evidence as to why Bojack could be a closeted queer person.
Beatrice: “I wouldn’t drink anything from an open container, this town is full of AIDS.”
