do you guys realize that…the videos and articles about the “good cops” who are “protesting” are propaganda designed to make you think “not all cops are bad”? do you realize that when the chief of police of flint said “let’s not make this a protest, let’s make it a parade,” he was successfully de-escalating the situation and dissolving the protest?

the police force has been corrupt since long before you and i were born. people don’t become cops to protect and serve, they become cops to feel strong and to use their strength against others. you are falling for propaganda if you believe that white men kneeling a la colin kaepernick mean the cops you see firing rubber bullets and batoning people are the exception to the rule.

All of you running your mouths about the riots saying that "things just need to be peaceful" clearly haven't paid attention to anything that has happened in history. Every peaceful protest that poc have tried has been shot down and most commonly answered with punishment and/or brutality. Just look at how they treated Colin Kaepernick when he peacefully protested. Look at how the protests for Floyd started out peaceful and then people were being tear gassed and had rubber bullets shot at them by the police. I have always said, police are the biggest murderous gang around & they get away with it.

The fact that just recently, white people defied stay at home orders, threatened governors, caused all sorts of problems during a pandemic and even marched around with guns on their back and our president did nothing about it and actually said "they are good people" and defended their shitty actions is a prime example of white privilege and it's bull shit.

Peace is not an option when this country still denies its racism problem and poc are still being murdered all the time. Something has to be done about the police scum and our shitty racist government. Peace also isn't an option when there has been no justice. The scum who killed Floyd got sentenced to third degree murder and is able to stay at home due to coronavirus concerns. This isn't justice. They are protecting this pos.

I will never know what it feels like to fear living day to day life in my own country due to the color of my skin, nor will all you privileged fucks who keep running your mouths. However, I will always fight for poc and I will never be silent. If you are silent about this or if you are expressing anger about the riots yet silent about the murder of a man, you're racist and part of the problem.

Fuck cops, fuck the government, and fuck you if you're racist. No justice, no peace 🖕🖕

#smth similar happened in my city today #police knelt with protesters and then after the news crews left they hit a woman with a tear gas canister close range and maced my friend #literally this was a block from my house the tear gas went on every street #in dt we have a lot of high population apartments #so a lot of the people who live there are now at high risk because of the lasting effects of tear gas on surfaces #kinda fucked up not gonna front #also the police shot and killed a black man last year and I know people who only learned about that shooting today
