Some days are just like this.

While on lockdown, I have been studying intensively for many hours every day. I’d wake up at 8, begin studies at 10 and go on until at least 5 pm. I have finished the Japanese From Zero book 1 and have started the book number two. However, some days I just don’t feel like doing anything. I can’t study, can’t play, can’t draw... Just stay lazy, drink numerous teas and coffees, and browse internet. I understand some days are just like that and it is okay, but I feel like I am wasting time and it makes me angry! I have been stuck on the same lesson since Friday. So I’ve decided to put on some perfume, open the windows to freshen up air, make a fresh cup of tea, and dive in!

some pics after our snowstorm! campus is so peaceful right now, but i'm sooo cold. today is my last day with my boyfriend and then he's going away for break. spending the day looking for books and movies to read/watch over the break, so feel free to recommend something!

My goals for December were to get right back into reading books and writing in my journal. Here's a little halfway update : I treated myself to 2 little comic style books in easy French (they both just so happen to be about cats lol) & some washi tape for my journal! I was half tempted to just leave my goals until the new year but I decided that getting back into a rhythm should be started now rather than later! I hope you all have been achieving your goals, and if not, I hope you know that a new fresh beginning is just around the corner~ Let's hope that 2021 will be kind to us all ♡

My notes vs my real handwriting

I am 100% kinesthetic type of a learner. This is why I take lots of time writing, editing, rewriting, decorating, and messing with my notes any way possible. Writing down things helps me to process things I’ve read, to memorize, and to understand them. Digital notetaking makes it easier to play around with my notes, so I definitely prefer it to writing notes on actual paper. However, workbook area exposes my real handwriting... lol

how is it december already?? i’m pretty much still mentally processing january or something… anyways, i will try my best to join in on the winter studying challenge by @myhoneststudyblr this month! i have never managed to finish any of these challenges but i’m still going to try to participate for as long as i can!

1st december - do you like winter?

i definitely do! it’s pretty much my favourite time of the year, i just love snow and christmas time and all that. i’m very lucky to live in a place where there’s actually lots of snow every year and winter feels like proper winter most of the time 🥺

My inbox never showed me I had any messages ,_____, Anyway, I’m good! I got very busy with work and moving houses. It was a difficult time cuz of extra work and corona affected my workplace quite a lot, but I’ve managed to pull through and gained some new interests! I rebranded my blog and I am studying again. December 8 || When should people start preparing for, decorating and celebrating Christmas?

If you live in the Philippines, people start decorating for Christmas as early as September 1 🤍 You can hear Christmas songs on the streets, inside malls and establishments as early as last week of August. So yeah, Christmas spirit is pretty much everywhere :)

December 9 || What do you usually do during the holidays?

Usually I’ve spend it with short break from uni.. although last year I remember spending the holidays making my thesis during the day then spending my time with family at night. I’m from Asia sooo the stereotype is to spend it with family 😂🤍 I think haven’t spent Christmas and New Year with a partner or friends.. 🤔
