Just finished watching Across the Spiderverse (the whole thing was a work of art, obviously) but it got me thinking about spidersonas again. It was a totally sick trend and I’m hella hoping it comes back after being revitalised by this film, but some stuff in the movie got me thinking.

Each universe has everyone in it, right? A spider-man, obviously, but all of their villains too. Vulture, Doc Ock, even theoretically Prowler and Spot too.

So, something cool would be an investigation into that. Have a spidersona already? What about a Spotsona? A Prowlersona? Doc Ocksona??? Come on please i want more spider-verse content and ill beckon it from the tumblr depths myself if I have to.

im guessing this is my loz s/i :3 okee I luv s/i lore

zelda is the main one I’ve thought about and I don’t think she’d be super big on star at first, I hc that zelda really clings to link after botw (understandably) and for awhile she’d often go into a panic attack if separated from him too long with star being a manifestation of that, as she’d often wonder if star would someday permanently take away link from her, but eventually when zelda starts healing and branches out to have more people in her support system she and star really get along, zelda is overjoyed that link was able to find someone to connect and bond with even after the calamity.

mainly throughout hyrule star is known as either a pretty good horse tamer who is good to go to if you’re interested in buying or having a horse trained up or, post botw, as the champions’ partner which they accept begrudgingly despite it feeling a bit demeaning. link is quick to tell them they’re so much more than that and often acts as free advertising for star’s business to hype her up which is embarrassingly cute.

The opposite is true for hateno village tho, literally everyone has history with star in hateno and it’s nice for her to have a place where link gets know as ‘star’s partner’ which is also fine by him as they like the peace of it. seldon the tour guide is actually the one who set them up and him and his daughter are the biggest supporters of their relationship and have basically adopted star. I think despite also knowing link purah happily joined on giving link a non serious shovel talk since star often helps her transport goods.

sidon specifically thinks she’s wonderful and they talk about how great link is together, when star and link get together officially he gives her a bow and a “good game” that the two don’t pick up on the meaning of until they’re halfway across hyrule.

riju specifically prefers star over link and has made it a goal that link never has anytime with his partner from the moment they enter gerudo village, they talk about animal care and travelling a lot and she loves dragging the poor girl around by the arm to discuss politics of leadership star does not understand but it’s honestly just nice to have someone who listens and puts in input, even if it’s not well informed.

despite being pretty bad with fighting but very openly close with link, ganon’s forces never go near her, not even the yiga. They don’t know how or why this happened but mainly for ganon it just feels “petty” (it’s a lot more complicated than that)

- Star owns a massive stable on the outskirts of Hateno Village, where she fosters and trains horses (because in my recent botw play through I sorta went on a horse collection rampage) where she meets Link after he moves in across town from her and they bond over exploration and horsies until they eventually get together and start travelling together.

- link is a nonverbal autistic and uses hylian sign language alongside hand signs he made to communicate easier in battle and travelling with zelda and now star. star is very verbal and does most of the talking for them both

- link is genderqueer and star is nonbinary but it isn’t until a few years after ganon is defeated that link starts experimenting with his presentation.

- link is still very much into sidon, crushing hard but on the flipside star has a massive crush on teake, the captain of the gerudo royal guard (girliepop can kill meeee). they do bond over this.

- both are a little touch starved so if you catch them in a quiet moment they're probably wrapped around each other

- star mostly fosters horses but the two they actually own are peachi, a white and peach mare who star mainly uses for short distance/non dangerous travel or just a companion and shadow, a black and white stallion who is the one they use on journeys because of his stamina and strength. eventually star helps link tame a brown mare who he calls sheik :]

- yes link is a short king, yes his datemate is slightly shorter than him, it's called a w.

- they hold hands when they sleep

So I’ve been seeing character.ai get tossed around a lot here on the self ship side of tumblr, and I’ve noticed a bit of a pattern. I’ve found lots of mutuals and other self shippers that have really niche f/os that don’t have an AI on the site that has been pre-made, I’ve seen people who’s f/os act really strange due to input from other users, and just in and amongst the really cute things I see it feels like there are some who just haven’t had the greatest experience using the site. And that makes me sad!

I also recently found myself not being too thrilled with one of my f/os’ AI, not for anything problematic, but just because it didn’t feel quite right! So I thought to myself …
