TLDR -> Valdell, Round 17 Perkins

Gilbert and Quin both decided to move back in with their parents. Then the 4 of them and their 4 pets packed up and sold their house and moved to Valyria, where they bought a huggeee house with plenty of room for Quin and Gilbert’s future families. Quin chopped her hair and Gilbert decided on a beard, and as for their lives, Quin is in the natural science career (will switch to regular science for her LTW eventually) and Gilbert has rolled to open an appliance store! The appliance store will come hopefully next season, after the $30k house loan is paid off. In the meantime, lots of yard digging is happening in hopes of finding valuables and treasure! Gilbert got excited and asked Samantha Cloverly to marry him and immediately regretted it. He has already strayed from the relationship so he plans to break up with Samantha soon. Quin has a handful of love interests as well but nothing that seems to stick just yet. Looking forward to next time with the Perkins.

Magic Calendar Mod for The Sims 2

This is a mod that allows you to change the day of the week, the season, and the number of days left in the season for a household. This is useful for keeping new households in sync when you're playing rotationally.

Say Mary-Sue kicks out Daniel on Wednesday in the middle of winter (something he would certainly deserve). He moves into an apartment on his own but now it's Monday and the last day of summer! With the magic calendar, you can set it to where it should be.

The three options the object provides are:

Change Day: Change the day of the week. It always moves forward in time. So if it were Friday and you changed the day to Monday, it would now be three days later.

Change Season: Change the current season. Options are listed clockwise from the top in the order they appear in your neighbourhood.

Set Days Remaining in Season: This sets the number of days that are left before the next season starts. The calendar will allow you to set any number 1-7, because I play with 1 season = 1 week, but you can adjust the maximum number of days it will show by opening the file in SimPE, selecting the Tuning - Calendar BCON and adjusting the decimal value. This will not change the default length of your seasons. You will need another mod for that, e.g. Quickshot14's Longer Seasons or EvelynnMama's Shorter Seasons.

I made the four calendar designs myself using artwork from FreePik and @simsinlowspace's Runcible Spoon font. They don't automatically swap when the season changes because I thought Simmers would like to add their own designs. It uses the mesh from TS4 Cats and Dogs, so you could make use of any existing recolours for that item, or create your own.

TLDR -> Valdell Round 17 - Both Family

The round started off pretty quietly, but it wasn’t long before Alana went into labor and gave birth to the couples third child, a boy!, who they named Marco. He has red hair and Alana’s lighter eyes. Malta continued work on her car and enjoyed her work as the town repairman. On the weekend, Alana took Lizzie to work with her to learn about owning a business. I don’t think Lizzie was too impressed. Strings & Things is doing well and reached rank 9! Alana and Malta both got their middle aged makeovers. A big party was thrown for Kiki and Marco’s birthdays! Still no puppies because I can’t find a good mate for Lumen. Maybe new house next time?
