🧸 Woah, that ride went super duper fast, huh? Yeah, it did feel like we almost went to outer space! And you were so brave, especially when it started going up higher and higher. I think you were even braver than mama was!
🎡 Mm, seems like somebody's getting sleepy... It's alright if you are, baby. It has been a long day. Do you want me to carry you back to the car then? We can still stop by the gift stand on our way out to pick out a new toy, since you've been so good today.

Littles who have gone a long time without a caregiver, or have never had one, need special kinds of love.
They won't know how to act around you when you try to give them attention or love, they might even feel a little scared because they aren't used to it. But that's okay, you have to be more gentle with them and take things one step at a time. They have to make sure they can trust you, and that can mean being very patient, but it is all part of the process.
Once they can trust you, they will love you forever, and in the end, all of the special care and patience it took to get to that point will become worth it in the end. 🩶
