legs' new home/renovation. cost under £15. 10l food tub: £4.80, lucky reptile life experience jungle: £9.99. i decided to down size him from his 30x30x30 komodo cube until he's grown bit then i'll get him a new taller one and caramel can have the cube.

excuse the non snake post... i moved caramel into a new tub and gave him the coconut i used to use for a snake hide. he threw a bit of a fit at first (i decided to wear gloves just in case i have a bad reaction to the hairs) but quickly calmed down and crawled onto my hand. i used spider life bulked out with aubiose for the substrate. i want to buy him a bigger piece of wood and a bigger water dish but i'm paranoid about him drowning. :/

so i checked up on pumpkin this morning to see that they finally shed but i noticed what looks like bruising on the top of their head. and their mouth looks weird. checked their shed but it is all intact. i know pumpkin likes to move their hides around so i don't know if that is what has done it. i'm going to try to get a vet appointment set up for next week but i want to get others' opinions. pics aren't that good because snek and i was scared of hurting them.

D: i'm going to be in belgium/west germany in a couple of weeks time but i doubt they'll let me take a snake back with me on the coach. the long journy would probably be too stressful for him.
good luck finding him a home.
UP FOR SALE/ADOPTION: CHEETO
1.0 albino heterodon nasicus nasicus (male western hognose snake)
Asking price: €60
age: born on the 28th of august 2016
reason for selling: as most people know by now, I am moving to New Zealand in a little over 6 months and I am most likely staying there for one year. Unfortunately my friends and family are unable to take care of ALL of my snakes, thus I am forced to rehome some.
personality: eats f/t pinkies, left in in his tub with the tub covered for privacy. Sometimes he refuses food and needs a scented primer, so he can be picky. SUPER active and curious. A bit fast, but overall good with handling. Might hiss a bit (or a lot) when entering his tub, but this is just bluffing.
Recommended for people with experience with snakes that might refuse food. But I would definetly sell to a beginner too, given they would stay in contact.
Name is not definite and may be changed. Contact me for more information through tumblr messaging, or send me a whatsapp message on +31611597578
Residing in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. I’m willing to drive to Belgium/West-Germany if gas expenses are paid for.

Hey, everyone. Meet Lucy!
Lucy is a (roughly) 6 month old female Kenyan sand boa, of the snow variety. I took in Lucy and another KSB (Kayley, a normal) as fosters/rescues, because otherwise they were going to be traded in for store credit at a pretty nasty pet shop. I’ve had these girls for about 3 months now, and I’m confident that Lucy is fit & ready for a new home!
She currently weighs in at 24g and is readily eating 1 f/t pinkie a week, though she may be ready to move up to 2 weekly soon. She shed cleanly about 2 weeks ago. I would prefer Lucy be adopted as a pet-only snake, as she and Kayley both originally came from said pretty nasty pet shop, so I know nothing about her genetic background.
I’m asking an adoption fee of $75 (cash or PayPal), and am willing to drive up to 2 hours from New Orleans to meet up and get her to her new snarent (though closer would always be great!). I’ve never shipped an animal before and am uncomfortable doing so at the moment, so apologies to anyone interested who’d be unable to meet me!
If you’re interested, feel free to shoot me a message! (I’d prefer that over asks, please.) Even if you can’t take her yourself, I’d appreciate it if y'all could spread this around! Lucy is a sweet little snake who deserves a great home.

Had a lot of really bad personal life crap hit this past week, so when we saw this little kiddo at the show we decided to pick him up. Really nice outgoing grey mandarin rat, Cayde.
