        {/Exuberance in it’s peak, Aoi could only feel nothing but joy as the stranger recognized her skill. Sure, there was a slim to little chance that she actually recognized her. Aoi was somewhere other than Hopes Peak after all. It was a nice thought. The fact she was able to guess it so easy was nice though!}

         “I’m the Super High School Level Swimmer at my school!”

SHE ARCHES a brow, pink glossed lips pursing; inquisitive.

SOFT LAUGHTER leave his lips as she makes her comment. he ran a hand through his hair before giving her a smile. of course, people didn’t believe him. how could they? he did look young, but he was intelligent. 

“shocking i know,” he laughs a bit and smiles more, “but trust me, i am a professor.” he takes out his phone and pulls up his twitter account. “see? i was wondering if we could have a chat?”

LOTTIE TAKES a moment to look at his twitter profile ━━ and sure enough, his story checks out. But what would someone like him want to talk to her about? She leans back a little, arms folding over her chest, and gives him another cursory look.

He’s probably seeking fashion advice... seriously, what’s up with the coat? He looks like a FREAKING drug dealer!

the first thought is that she’s very pretty. the second thought is that he’s completely forgotten what he had approached her for in the first place. he stares, pink, before stuttering to life.

HER FACE crumbles from disappointment, which she quickly hides under a mask of indifference ━━ oookay, not a fan. That’s fine. Whatever. Totally fine. NOT!

SHE QUICKLY rummages through her purse, managing to find a few crumpled napkins in its depths, then handing them over for him to use.

“ Not a very good friend if she left ya alone at a bar. Don’t worry though, if some gutter rat bothers ya I’ll take care of it.”

He sure was getting tired of playing the good guy all the time. The friend was probably trying to set her up with someone here, that or she found herself a friend. Yamori found the green haired woman attractive but he’d keep that to himself, lest he appear to be some young hot blooded fool.

“ Ya don’t gotta worry yourself about me, I ain’t about to buy a drink for a gal not wantin one, what I will do is tell ya not to go see that new musical with Wolverine. It sucked.”

   ❝ Well ━━ she’s coming back soon, so. ❞

IS THIS guy hitting on her? For real? He’s looks like he’s fifty ━━ hate to break it to ya buddy, but you’re NOT her type. Posture rigid, she remains face forward, her stare focuses on the TV screen above the row of varying alcohols. 

   ❝ I don’t go to see many musicals, ❞ she replies distantly. ❝ But I’ll... remember that. ❞ God, this is painful.

Lottie internally prays for Caroline to return soon; to save her from this awful small talk. She’s considering escaping to the bathroom to hide for the rest of the night.

NORMALLY SHE doesn’t talk so casually with strangers out of the blue ━━ but this girl seemed... alright. Besides, she’s feeling pretty nice today. Not that she isn’t a nice person in general, ‘cause she always is! The world needs more people like her!

HAVING FINISHED a photoshoot nearby, Lottie seeked refuge in a small, quaint-looking coffee shop for a break and to charge her phone before heading back. She’s in the midst of mindlessly scrolling through notifications when her name is called out.

Chin lifts, her chocolate-brown eyes fall on the visage of a teenager ━━  she’s accustomed to strangers coming up to her all the time ( duh, she’s pretty FAMOUS! ) ; however, it doesn’t dismiss the hints of confusion that crosses her expression.

   ❝ A... professor? ❞ she repeats. ❝ Really? No offense but, you seem kind of... young. ❞

“lottie person! to think, i never thought i would meet a fellow socialite in a place like this.” extravagant, eccentric, that was the way to be. this was someone he could try and talk to. try and manipulate. having her on his side would give him more followers for sure! “i am ryo asuka, i live in new york city and work at nyu as a professor. your reputation is quite shining among my students.”
