omg, yes!!! this seems so fitting for them! so many of the lyrics match Sonic's feelings (at least in my head lol) on everything that happens in 06, and with Elise and this song is totally going on my playlist!!
I also love the line "time was my friend, 'cause she brought you again, now here you are in my arms" that serves as an accidental reference to their theme song, since in "sweet dream" the chorus has "I'm holding you in my arms" and it matches!!! amazing!!
So I recently listened to Junichi's cover of Suddenly and... I think it fits SonElise really well 🥺❤

Relating to how despite resetting the timeline, it's implied that Sonic still remembers Elise, or at least has a familiar feeling.

Hello it’s me again! Shipping playlists?? So fun! I recognize quite a few songs in yours, they sound so cute! Saving it <3 Also, do you think Dandelions by Ruth B would fit them? I like the line, “And I see forever in your eyes, I feel okay when I see you smile… smile.”
OMG OMG!!! I had never heard this song before, and it's so perfect!! it's so fitting for them, oh I love this!!
A lot of these lines match them really, really well, and it also fits into a bunch of my ideas of post-06 stuff so this is perfect!!!

the "the way you play your game" is so funny and matching with the way sonic songs like to say stuff like that, about how they're games, etc.
The bit about "praying to god that one day you'll be mine also seems so fitting for Elise considering she does pray quite a few times in game. Also she does seem to be happier with Sonic, and Sonic inspires her a lot, to be more confident, to me more sure of herself so "I've never felt so alive and free, when you're looking at me I've never felt so happy" seems SO in character for Elise lol
and also YEESS!!!! basically any song that has a bit about "smile" becomes at least a little bit sonelise to me and this song is so so fitting so this is SO (chef's kiss) omg perfect perfect perfect, added to my playlist IMMEDIATELY ahsjjdk

alrighty!!! here is theee sonelise.tumblr official tracklist lamskdnflfnk and i'm gonna put some of my reasons behind the readmore :D
these are my og notes from the playlist, but i don't have for all of them since it was on my old phone and the playlist's grown since then lol
some of the songs are related to like.. kinda specific scenarios i have in my head, a lot of them of post-06 stuff, like Into My Arms and Is Your Bedroom Ceiling Bored? and Once Upon a Dream are abt this idea I have of Sonic and Elise remembering the evnts of 06 and missing each other, bc despite it all, they became good friends during the adventure, but they think the other one doesn't remember them so they don't reach out. i'm still writing something abt that.... someday....
some are related to videos, like Viva Forever, for instance, which is only there bc of @flyingpochama948's amv! some are related to edits i've done or have seen too.
some come from other people, if i'm not mistaken it was @kittydoremi that said At All Costs was very sonelise and i was like omg yes totally!!
