[Translation] IDOLiSH7: Rabbit Chat [Yuki - Bunny Hoodie]  Part 5
Title: "Happy Birthday” From Everyone
Participants: Momo, Tsumugi, Yuki
Source: Unlocked in game from Yuki’s limited birthday (2016) card, pictured here.
**Note: This will only be part 5, since I’m just aiming to complete the card. The previous four are available as translated by someone else; you can see @i7rabicha for a record of this (here).

(Momo)
Yuki, happy birthday!! *゚ロ゚)*゚ロ゚)*゚ロ゚)ノ~★celebration★\(゚ロ゚*(゚ロ゚*(゚ロ゚*
And, little miss manager, thank you for being such a wonderful guide! Trying to lead Yuki around is a real pain, no?
(Tsumugi)
Yuki-san, Happy Birthday!
Not at all...! We had everyone’s smooth lead-ins, so we somehow even got him to arrive early!
(Yuki)
Thank you both, really.
It was fun in a different way from the surprises I’ve helped with.
(Momo)
I felt like a mother watching her child set foot in the outside world for the first time! ww
(Yuki)
I managed to go outside on my own, so keep me company next time we’re free. ^^
(Momo)
It’s good to just do it once in a while! Didn’t it give you time to think about a lot of stuff? While walking along such nostalgic streets.
(Yuki)
It did. I kept remembering things, like how we’d buy meat buns at this convenience store and split them in half, or how we’d stay at that one cafe until it was closing time, working on songs.
(Momo)
Amazing, Yuki!! You remembered, I’m so happy.
(Yuki)
I always remember everything about you, Momo.
(Momo)
Now you’re lying! You totally didn’t remember the anniversary of the first time I took a bath together with you!!
(Yuki)
Isn’t that one a bit too difficult?
(Momo)
It’s not difficult!! You just lack enough love!!
(Yuki)
You’re such a harsh judge.
(Tsumugi)
It surely just means that’s how much Momo-san loves you, Yuki-san!
(Momo)
That’s right~! And it was super difficult trying to rent this place starting midnight, they only let us have it for the sake of old friendships!
(Yuki)
Just goes to show how talented you are, Momo.
Still, seeing everyone that came to greet me wear T-shirts with our faces printed on them was quite the bizarre experience.
(Momo)
We prepared them specifically for this day! They were all really excited to wear them!
(Yuki)
Even TRIGGER?
(Momo)
They were super into it. In fact, it’s the first time I saw TRIGGGER that into something. So much that I promised to treat them to lunch later on.
(Yuki)
I bet it went more like, “We’ll wear them for you, so you owe us lunch.”
(Momo)
That’s not true! That’s not how I wrote that scenario in my head! ww
(Yuki)
I have no idea what you’re talking about.
Still, TRIGGER put on a show for us yet again.
(Momo)
It was such a passionate session...! I want to play guitar with them again!
(Tsumugi)
Tumblr media
By the way, Momo-san, I heard that you kindly taught Iori-san and Riku-san how to play accompaniments...!
(Momo)
Well, I only taught them one that used to be popular among girls back in the day, though! w
(Yuki)
That was its own brand of interesting too, just like the seiyuu concerts that Nagi-kun goes to watch in secret.
Also, having Yamato-kun pour me a drink yet again felt really satisfying. That begrudging expression on him just gets my heart racing.
(Momo)
The fact that you keep bullying him like this is why he doesn’t like you! w
(Yuki)
I just can’t stop myself from picking on him.
(Tsumugi)
Speaking of IDOLiSH7, and that aside, I’ve been entrusted with everyone’s birthday messages yet again! May I post them in here again, just like last time...?
(Momo)
Show us, show us! Everyone’s messages of love towards Yuki!
(Yuki)
I’m counting on you, little miss manager!
(Tsumugi)
Iori-san: “Yuki-san, I wish you a happy birthday. I heard that you and nii-san have made plans to become cooking buddies. I will continue to look up to you as a model senior when it comes to both personal and professional matters. We’ll be in your care.”
Yamato-san: “Happy Birthday, Yuki-san. It is true that we’ve been in your care and we owe you for a lot of things, so I chose to attend today. Please continue to get along with Momo-san.”
Mitsuki-san: “Yuki-san, Happy Birthday! I was worried that just veggies might not have enough protein, so I tried cooking with a lot of beans and seeds. I apologize if that was uncalled for! For next time, please tell me about your special vegetable menu!”
Tamaki-san: “Yukirin, hbd. You’ve taught me a lot of stuff. It’s always fun to spend time with you, Yukirin. I wanna say you don’t feel like a senior, but like not in a bad way. Let’s eat pudding together again.”
Sougo-san: “Yuki-san, I wish you a happy birthday. I’m glad to have been allowed to celebrate with you, so differently from how we did with Momo-san. It honored me to get to wear a printed T-shirt of the two of you and to be permitted at such a nostalgic location. I will treasure the memory for life. May you have a wonderful year.”
Nagi-san: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MR. YUKI! I look forward to seeing what forms of entertainment we can expect from you next. Also if you watch Cocona, you might become even happier.”
Riku-san: “Yuki-san, happy birthday to you!! I think it’s really great that your birthday is on Christmas Eve, because it feels like one amazing thing after another. I’m glad I got to celebrate your birthday, Yuki-san. I’ll work hard so that I can also become someone like you, who is able to convey such wonderful feelings to everyone!”
(Yuki)
This is nice.
It feels as if the whole world is revolving around me.
(Momo)
Yuki, did it make you emotional!?
(Yuki)
I wonder. Maybe it did.
(Momo)
Momo-chan can totally tell! You’re giving a really soft smile.
It’s the same face you made earlier when Okarin was singing on stage!
(Yuki)
I really didn’t expect Okarin to sing, so it felt moving to see.
(Tsumugi)
If it made you happy, then that’s all that matters...!
(Yuki)
Momo is one thing, but I never expected to receive this kind of celebration, myself.
(Momo)
What’re you talking about! Our juniors know all too well what a kind person you are, Yuki!
If they didn’t, they wouldn’t have gathered to have a party like this!
TRIGGER worked their hardest to celebrate too, and didn’t they send a message just earlier?
It says: “Looking at Re:vale, it’s easy to tell just how much you treasure each other, and that you mean the most in the world to each other. Please continue to be a model to us from now on as well, and to show us the greatest view as we walk in your footsteps.”
(Yuki)
So this time it wasn’t a declaration of war.
(Momo)
Well, they already did that last month after all!
(Yuki)
Then, should I take this chance to do an impression of Momo?
I’m so happy I could seriously burst. Oh, let these feelings of mine fly out into the entire world~
(Momo)
That’s no good--!! That lacked any flair, start all over!
(Yuki)
What’s flair.
(Tsumugi)
Yuki-san, could I have a little bit more of your time for something? Lol.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 1. Was there anything you had particularly much fun with while celebrating?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there anything you had particularly much fun with while celebrating?
(Yuki)
When we kind of had a karaoke competition with everyone. Okarin was trying so hard while singing it was adorable. He never even goes to karaoke with us, so I felt moved.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 2. Was there any part of the celebration that really surprised you?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there any part of the celebration that really surprised you?
(Yuki)
Maybe, how into it TRIGGER were. They were wearing sunglasses and those T-shirts. and even had a jam session with Momo. I think it’s best if TRIGGER fans never get to see that.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 3. Was there any part of the celebration that you found difficult to handle?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there any part of the celebration that you found difficult to handle?
(Yuki)
Not me, but there was a part where Sougo-kun kind of had this passionate outburst, as if some hidden side of him went rampant, and Tamaki-kun was desperately trying to stop him. Does his personality change depending on the place he’s in too, just like it does when he’s drunk?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Momo)
Oh right, Yuki, did you get to see Ban-san!?
(Yuki)
No, I think I caught a glimpse of his ponytail from a distance at some point, but we didn’t get to meet face to face.
(Momo)
I wonder if he’s still being cautious...
(Yuki)
Isn’t that just Ban’s way of being thoughtful? We didn’t see him on your birthday either. So he can’t go showing his face just for mine now.
(Momo)
I see... Ban-san is so kind and considerate, I really like him...
(Yuki)
Momo, adultery is bad.
(Momo)
It’s not adultery!! Also, this feels like déjà vu wwwww
(Tsumugi)
Um... Actually, just like last month with Momo-san, I have been entrusted a message from Banri-san as well.
Of course, part of the reason he wasn’t able to meet you today was also how busy everything got, but... May I deliver the message...?
(Yuki)
I’m sure Ban must have known it would come to this, too. Would you be so kind, then?
(Momo)
Yes, let’s see the birthday message from our beloved Ban-san!
(Tsumugi)
Roger that!
“Happy birthday, Yuki. I never imagined I’d get to take part in both Momo-kun’s birthday and yours. This has honestly been a really great day for me. I listened to your new song, and rest assured that I’ll still be cheering you on from now on. Also, keep the rabbit chats to no more than one every three days.”
(Yuki)
Ban...
Isn’t this message way too cold compared to what Momo got?
(Momo)
Eeh!? Yuki, but can’t you feel the strong love overflowing from this message!?!?
(Yuki)
It has to be as direct as how you say it, Momo, or I can’t tell.
(Tsumugi)
Tumblr media
(Momo)
You say that, but I saw you screencap it!! ww
(Yuki)
Well, because it’s one of Ban’s very rare affectionate moments.
(Momo)
Yuki, that’s a bit creepy wwww
(Yuki)
Momo, my mental stability isn’t infinite either, you know.
(Momo)
Sorry wwww
(Yuki)
After I’ve calmed down, I won’t forgive you unless you keep me company for an entire day.
(Momo)
That’s a really easy task, you know.
(Yuki)
Oh really, it’s that easy. Then, I’m sure you won’t mind writing me a passionate message right here either.
(Momo)
I already have one prepared, of course!!! I copied it from the memo and kept waiting for the right time to paste it!!!
(Yuki)
So your love for me is just copy paste level?
(Momo)
Don’t start stealing my lines, that stuff is what I usually say!! w
(Yuki)
I was joking.
(Momo)
I was, too. I don’t have any copy-paste, you know!
(Yuki)
I know.
(Tsumugi)
It’s a birthday message from Momo-san to Yuki-san, so I’m sure it will be full of love!
(Momo)
Little miss manager saying that just raised the bar even more, but I’ll do my best to live up!!
(Yuki)
Let me hear what you have to say, Momo.
(Momo)
Alright!
Um,,
Getting cornered like this sure makes me nervous.
Hey, Yuki.
Happy Birthday.
Even now, I’m still so unbelievably happy that I actually got to celebrate with you like this again.
Yuki, lately you’ve been doing your best to express a lot more of your feelings to me than just three simple words ever could, in a lot of ways. And you have no idea just how grateful I am, so much that I sometimes feel like my heart will burst from my chest.
Yuki.
I’m so glad and grateful that you exist.
Thank you for being by my side.
Thank you for letting me be your partner.
Please let me celebrate your birthday next year, too.
-- From Momo, who really loves you!
(Yuki)
I don't know what I'd do if you didn’t celebrate with me next year.
I’ll say it however many times it takes.
I swear we’ll still be together, even 100 years from now, or even 1000.
(Momo)
Yeah......
Wait, was it my birthday today...?? Why are we making me happy here......?
(Yuki)
No, you’re the one making me happy.
Because today is my birthday.
So please smile, Momo.
(Momo)
Okay...!
(Tsumugi)
I’ve witnessed yet again just how deep your bond runs... Also, your birthday has become quite the passionate topic on social media as well, Yuki-san!
(Momo)
She’s right! Here, Yuki, look how many birthday messages you got from the fans!
We really ought to post a reply from you for them. What should we write!!
(Yuki)
That’s true. Little miss manager, this thank-you message is addressed to you as well, so please let me type it.
Thank you for celebrating Momo’s birthday and mine again this year. I feel as if Momo and the fans are what gives meaning to my songs.
I would like you all to keep loving us, and only us, forever from now on.
And I’ll make sure that Momo’s and my Re:vale will keep charming you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: I do not own this card, so this translation was never intended to cover the rest of the parts, and it never will. I was just aiming to complete it because it was left unfinished before. The screencaps I used were kindly provided by KirakiraDenka on Twitter, and I received them via lli-luz-ill here on Tumblr. Thank you both!

[Translation] IDOLiSH7: Rabbit Chat [Nanase Riku - Märchen Dream]  Part 2
Title: Snow White
Participants: Tsumugi, Riku
Source: Unlocked in game from the Nanase Riku card released as part of the second Ichiban Kuji card set (September-October 2016), pictured here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** [Previous: Part 1 - A New Project] *** [Next: (in progress, tba)]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Tsumugi)
Riku-san, thank you for your hard work with the briefing we had today.
For this First Lottery event, we will be filming a short promotional drama starring all 12 of you. I look forward to seeing you in the role of Snow White, Riku-san!
(Riku)
Thanks for your hard work, manager! I can’t believe I’m gonna be Snow White! Lol. It’s a simple story and I really like it, though, so I’m happy.
Mitsuki was all fired up like, “It doesn’t matter if this is usually a girl’s role, I'm still gonna make it one heck of an act!” So I’ll work hard and make sure I don’t fall behind either!
(Tsumugi)
Thank you very much... >< Whether Mitsuki-san is being cute or cool, both images are part of what makes up his charm, so hearing that is very reassuring...
Still, I’ll make sure to some day also secure a job in which all of you can display a cool type of image!
(Riku)
Yeah, I think Mitsuki will be happy too! Although, I don’t know if I’d call it cute exactly, but I love how Mitsuki kind of feels like a warm mother!
I can’t wait for the shoot! Tamaki’s wolf and Momo-san’s Cheshire Cat and such, both really fit them.
(Tsumugi)
And Kujou-san was the witch, was he not!
(Riku)
Tenn-nii was super cool. By nature, Tenn-nii is an angel, but there are times like with today’s outfit when he looks like a little devil too. I’m gonna take a ton of pictures at the shoot. More than the cameraman will!
(Tsumugi)
As expected of you, Riku-san, you can’t be deterred lol.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 1. Do you have a favorite fairy tale, Riku-san?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Do you have a favorite fairy tale, Riku-san?
(Riku)
I like the one being used as the theme for Momo-san and Yuki-san, Alice in Wonderland!
I had Tenn-nii read it for me countless times. I was always stuck either in hospital or in my room, so a fantasy story that was removed from reality, like that, really appealed to me.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 2. How did you feel about being cast in the role of Snow White?
>>
(Tsumugi)
How did you feel about being cast in the role of Snow White?
(Riku)
Living together with the dwarves sounds really fun! I wonder if it would turn out busy and lively, kind of like our lives at the dorm. Also, Yamato-san was like, “Riku, you look like you’d probably say ‘Thank you,’ even for the poisoned apple and then just casually eat it,” or so!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 3. Was there any other outfit you would have liked to try on?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there any other outfit you would have liked to try on?
(Riku)
I like Alice in Wonderland, so I’d love to try Momo-san’s Cheshire Cat costume!
I used to really look up to the Cheshire Cat when I was little, for some reason, and I remember drawing him a lot. Also, I know Iori’s the prince from Snow White, but don’t you think he’d look good as the Hatter too?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Riku)
All this talk about fairy tales is making me way too excited!
No matter how old people get, fairy tales are still able to move their hearts. I want that for us too. No matter how old our fans get, we’ll still move their hearts and fill them with excitement!
(Tsumugi)
Idols do embody dreams. So in certain ways, they may be similar to the fantasy worlds of fairy tales!
(Riku)
That’s right! And first, we’ve got to start by making sure we enjoy working on the project, ourselves.
Because of that, I wondered if I couldn’t just go and touch Tamaki’s ears and tail from his wolf outfit after all, but in the end Iori still got mad... I so wanted to touch them...!!
(Tsumugi)
It’s because you can easily stir up dust and fur from them...
But your flower crown is really cute too, Riku-san! You could maybe play with that instead?
(Riku)
Yup, I’m planning on it! I’m gonna put it on everyone’s heads at least once! Lol.
I think it would probably fit Tamaki best.
(Tsumugi)
I just tried to picture it, and it definitely would suit him... And it fits perfectly, too, since I was also planning to have Tamaki-san hold a flower!
(Riku)
Manager, you should put it on too! Lol.
(Tsumugi)
Ehh!?
(Riku)

Hi! Sorry for the question. Um, in tenn's part 2 of märchen dream you said riku projects into Alice, but I saw a translation that said tenn projects into her. So now I'm trying to figure it out, do you think you can help? Thank you for the translations and for answering
Hello~! No worries, always feel free to ask anything you need! I’m laughing that you brought this up though, because that part is cursed I actually spent a million years staring at it. So, here’s the thing.
Tsumugi asks if Tenn has a favorite fairy tale, so normally you’d… expect him to reply with “Yeah, I like this one.” Which… he actually doesn’t. I squinted at that line for ages too bc it was odd, but he legit does not say what his favorite was. He just launches directly into “The one Riku used to request was Alice.” I just checked the grammar again to be 100% sure, and that’s definitely it.
He then says Alice goes to a different world away from reality, and that “jibun” may have liked to imagine being in her place (he says ‘kamo’ at the end, so he’s assuming / isn’t sure). Now, “jibun” is tricky bc it’s a multi-functional word and yes, it’s often used as “I” or “me”. So it could be “I imagined myself as Alice”. But also when you’re talking in 3rd person about someone, it’s what you use to say “themself” (or “yourself” if 2nd person). The same word can be any of these. Like, for example, a narration can say “(character) believed himself to be strong” and it will be worded as “(character) thought of ~jibun~ as strong”. Tenn’s sentence doesn’t specify if his “jibun” was himself or Riku, so you just have to… deduce it from the context.
Given the first part is talking about what Riku requested AND that he says “maybe”, it sounded to me like he’s saying Riku maybe requested Alice because he (Riku) liked to imagine being her. It also made sense to me because Riku was the sick kid trapped inside, so of course he’d like to imagine going to another world. So after staring a lot, that’s how I understood it. (Also, Riku says in his own chat that he liked Alice in Wonderland because, being stuck inside all the time, it was fun to get immersed in a fantasy world.)
…This turned into a tl;dr oops. I hope it helps though!

[Translation] IDOLiSH7: Rabbit Chat [Nanase Riku - Märchen Dream]  Part 1
Title: A New Project
Participants: Tsumugi, Riku
Source: Unlocked in game from the Nanase Riku card released as part of the second Ichiban Kuji card set (September-October 2016), pictured here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** [Previous: N/A] *** [Next: Part 2 - Snow White]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Tsumugi)
Thank you for your hard work, Riku-san! Today, I come bearing news that I think you’re going to love as well.
Which is, that we’ll be in another First Lottery project! This time, both Re:vale and TRIGGER will be in it as well!
(Riku)
Manager, thanks for working hard!
Re:vale and TRIGGER both!? The First Lottery this time will be amazing! I can’t wait to get to talk to Momo-san again. And Tenn-nii will be there too...!
(Tsumugi)
Thanks to the stage reinauguration, there has been a lot of noise about how this is the highest peak of the idol boom since Zero. It seems the party hosting the event noticed that, and as such made this offer to us!
(Riku)
I see! So that’s why we can be in it together again. Maybe this means that we’re being recognized more, I’m happy!
Do you think Tenn-nii will be happy too?
(Tsumugi)
Of course, I believe Kujou-san will be glad to hear it as well!
(Riku)
Last time it was themed after knights, so what’s the theme this time?
(Tsumugi)
This time, it’s apparently “fairy tales”. You like books, don’t you, Riku-san!
(Riku)
Fairy tales!?
When I was little and couldn’t sleep, Tenn-nii used to read picture books for me a lot. Now they make picture books for adults too, so I still sometimes read them before bed!
(Tsumugi)
They do make picture books for adults nowadays! Since some of them become even more interesting if you read them when you’re older...
(Riku)
Right! It’s really interesting to read them now, when you see them differently from how you did as a kid and find new interpretations.
Movies and novels are nice too, but this is something only picture books can do. And they make time pass real quick too.
...Ah, sorry, I got carried away and rambled so much...!
Tumblr media
(Tsumugi)
No no, it actually made me really interested in them. I think I’ll try reading some books again, myself!
(Riku)
Okay! Iori and Sougo-san are always just reading difficult books and nothing else, but it feels really nice to go back to lighter reads too, you know.
(Tsumugi)
Iori-san and Sougo-san read things like philosophy and self-improvement, or even business books sometimes, don’t they... >< I don’t understand anything about those...
(Riku)
Sougo-san’s an adult so it’s fine, but Iori’s still a kid, it’ll all just go to his head and he’ll get even stuffier than he already is!
But if I tell him he’ll just go all, “Nanase-san. You simply don’t understand the value of these books,” blah-blah, etc, and he’ll probably get mad, so I won’t! Lol.
(Tsumugi)
Tumblr media
(Riku)
Tumblr media
------------------------------------------------------------------------
P.S. -- Tenn’s card matching this (fully) translated here. This card isn’t something I’d normally translate (unless requested ofc!), so it’s unlikely I’ll include Riku by default in future sets. I just wanted a friend on Twitter (hello I kept my word) to suffer with me over both twins.

[Translation] IDOLiSH7: Rabbit Chat [Tsunashi Ryuunosuke - Märchen Dream]  Part 5
Title: Märchen Dream as Imagined by Ryuu
Participants: Tsumugi, Ryuunosuke
Source: Unlocked in game from the Tsunashi Ryuunosuke card released as part of the second Ichiban Kuji card set (September-October 2016), pictured here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** [Previous: Part 4 - How to Use Bath Towels] *** [Next: N/A]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Tsumugi)
Tsunashi-san, thank you for your hard work! The First Lottery cards have finally been put up for sale today. Thank you very much for working together with us on so many things yet again!
(Ryuunosuke)
Good work! Thank you for taking the time to message me. Earlier while in transit, I saw a girl carrying a First Lottery cardboard box.
I wonder if that’s the “lot buyout” [1] thing Nagi-kun was talking about...?
(Tsumugi)
It most certainly is something that evokes gratitude... Apparently, Nagi-san always buys out the entire lot like this when he purchases Cocona merchandise.
(Ryuunosuke)
Amazing, as expected! I want to try buying out the lot once too. It kind of feels like splurging, [2] doesn’t it?
(Tsumugi)
That’s right, it’s just like splurging!
(Ryuunosuke)
A little while ago, I invited Gaku and Tenn and our manager to eat home-cooked fish together at my place, so when I went to buy fish I told the store-keep, “I’ll take some of all of these.” It’s a similar thing, right?
But when I told Nagi-kun about this in relation to his buying out the lot, he just told me, “You cannot lump Cocona together with fish.” Though I guess he was right, Cocona-chan is a girl so I shouldn’t have compared her to types of fish...
(Tsumugi)
The lot buyout is a complex thing, isn’t it...
(Ryuunosuke)
It truly is...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 1. Did you watch the short drama we released?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Did you watch the short drama we released?
(Ryuunosuke)
The 3 of us watched it together! We were talking about how it’s so well-done it kind of feels like a waste for it to remain just a short drama. The one scene where Tenn uses magic and puts Riku-kun to sleep, for example, was really just too good.
Surprisingly, it’s really difficult to act like you’re being put to sleep because it just ends up looking too staged, but Riku-kun was very good at it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 2. I would be happy if we could get to work together again!
>>
(Tsumugi)
I would be happy if we could get to work together again!
(Ryuunosuke)
Me too! Since it seems we’ve become known as the spark that revived the flame of the idol boom, maybe we’ll keep getting more and more jobs together now. The company president doesn’t look entirely displeased with it, either!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 3. I take it you don’t really watch anime then, Tsunashi-san?
>>
(Tsumugi)
I take it you don’t really watch anime then, Tsunashi-san?
(Ryuunosuke)
I used to watch it a lot with my little brothers! But since I came here I don’t think I’ve watched any. That’s why I’m mostly only familiar with stuff for children, whereas Gaku surprisingly watches a lot of different things, it seems!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Ryuunosuke)
Also, I’ve only heard a little, but it seems a lot of people are saying they’d like to see a continuation of our short drama!
(Tsumugi)
That does appear to be the case! It makes me happy. Personally, I would love to have another filming session with such a distinguished array of personages lol.
(Ryuunosuke)
We’d lose the chance for a continuation with this, but while watching everyone act I also thought it might be interesting if we could change the casting around.
(Tsumugi)
Such as, to what kind of casting?
(Ryuunosuke)
Like having Mitsuki-kun, Sougo-kun and Riku-kun play the villains! The three of them, who were otherwise given the roles of the female protagonists in the fairy tales! Lol.
(Tsumugi)
That sounds interesting...!
(Ryuunosuke)
Doesn’t it! In place of that, Snow White could be Gaku, Cinderella could be Tenn, and I’d be Little Red Riding Hood!
(Tsumugi)
H-How unexpected!? Now I really want to see this...
(Ryuunosuke)
I told Tenn about this and he said, “If you were Little Red Riding Hood, Ryuu, you just wouldn’t lose to the wolf at all. Meanwhile Gaku as Snow White sounds like he’d just make a poisoned apple for himself, all on his own.” I had a weaker image in mind for these things lol.
(Tsumugi)
Kujou-san... Lol.
(Ryuunosuke)
On the other hand, the roles they already had really were the best ones for Momo-san and Yuki-san, no matter how you think of it. What do you think, Tsumugi-chan?
(Tsumugi)
That might be true! If I had to pick though, I’d say Momo-san could work as the fairy godmother that appears in Cinderella, and Yuki-san as the prince!
(Ryuunosuke)
That definitely does fit them! So then Yamato-kun and Nagi-kun would become the Cheshire Cat and the Hatter, huh. I can see that happening too...
(Tsumugi)
It definitely could happen!! Now I’m kind of excited about the idea lol. In that case, Iori-san could be the wolf, and Tamaki-san would be the prince from Snow White...
(Ryuunosuke)
I can see it.
(Tsumugi)
I can totally see it.

Note: I don't currently own this card; the translation was done using screencaps provided by a friend.
[1] -- lot buyout This is called ロット買い (lit. “lot-buying”) and it’s a tactic where people pre-reserve and buy out an entire set of the Ichiban Kuji (since stores that get more than one full set may offer this option). So instead of going there and drawing from the box, you just... buy the whole box of tickets and thus automatically get all the possible prizes in it, including the “last one” prize that got mentioned in the previous part of this same chat (when they talk about the mini-posters).
[2] -- “splurging” Ryuu uses 大人買い which is literally worded like “adult-style shopping” but it’s actually... kind of a specific expression. It refers to adults buying things they don’t need (often anime merch, like Nagi) in great quantities. The concept itself is also associated to when you make your own money for the first time (thus, fully becoming a young adult in essence) and... buy lots of stuff. Because finally your own money. I picked the closest English similar concept which is still pretty far but yes.

[Translation] IDOLiSH7: Rabbit Chat [Kujou Tenn - Märchen Dream]  Part 5
Title: Thoughts About the Casting
Participants: Tsumugi, Tenn
Source: Unlocked in game from the Kujou Tenn card released as part of the second Ichiban Kuji card set (September-October 2016), pictured here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** [Previous: Part 4 - TRIGGER’s Youngest] *** [Next: N/A]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Tsumugi)
Kujou-san, thank you for your hard work! The First Lottery cards have finally been put up for sale today. Thank you very much for working together with us on so many things yet again!
(Tenn)
Thank you for your hard work, Takanashi-san.
They seem to have attracted quite the hype. Let us stage the best possible performances as well, in order to repay the fans who are kindly buying them for us.
(Tsumugi)
Yes! I’ll make sure to engrave that into my mind all the more strongly...!
(Tenn)
IDOLiSH7′S fanservice comes in extremely varied flavors, so I think the fans were quite happy as well.
(Tsumugi)
I’ve watched TRIGGER’s concerts countless times so far, and the letters on the paper fans often read things like, “Shoot me,” or “Blow me a kiss,” do they not? I think that’s surely because you have many songs with a sexy note.
(Tenn)
Meanwhile, you get things like, “Say goodnight to me,” or “Please jump up and down,” quite a lot.
I think the one who observes the paper fans the most is Izumi Mitsuki, maybe.
(Tsumugi)
That’s right! Mitsuki-san is always saying he wants to do his best so that everyone who came to see us can go home feeling happy after.
(Tenn)
Izumi Mitsuki has a high level of awareness. And I think it’s precisely because he fully knows he must work hard for it, if he wants to be acknowledged, that he was able to wear his outfit perfectly this time around too.
(Tsumugi)
Thank you very much... I believe Mitsuki-san will be really happy to hear what you had to say about him, Kujou-san.
(Tenn)
I’ve only said exactly what I thought during the filming.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 1. Did you watch the short drama we released?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Did you watch the short drama we released?
(Tenn)
I watched it. Nikaidou Yamato and Yuki-san are well-known for their acting already, but I think it turned out well as a whole. Yotsuba Tamaki may have gained some experience from the previous drama too, because his acting got better. But I guess maybe it didn’t matter since his role was a wolf who was bad at communication.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 2. I would be happy if we could get to work together again!
>>
(Tsumugi)
I would be happy if we could get to work together again!
(Tenn)
We’re all extremely busy with work so it might prove difficult, but it was a valuable rare experience. Apparently our manager also feels like there is quite a bit to learn from Okazaki-san and from you, Takanashi-san.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 3. Riku-san was saying that you looked good in your costume as well, Kujou-san.
>>
(Tsumugi)
Riku-san was saying that you looked good in your costume as well, Kujou-san.
(Tenn)
He told me as much in the waiting room several times, too. He was also wondering how it would look if the two of us swapped costumes. Seeing Riku as a witch would be quite a rare occasion, wouldn’t it?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
(Tenn)
Also, I’ll have to ask you to please stop encouraging Ryuu’s incomprehensible, wild fantasies such as me being Cinderella, Snow White being Gaku, and himself being the Little Red Riding Hood.
(Tsumugi)
W-Was it bad!? I just thought that it would be interesting, since it’s such a different image from how the roles went in the drama.
(Tenn)
Let’s say me as Cinderella is still within the limits of common sense, at least.
(Tsumugi)
You have been called a modern-day angel, after all!
(Tenn)
But just what kind of comedy show would that be, with Gaku as Snow White and Ryuu as Little Red Riding Hood? That’s like the quickest possible way to stray from the image we’re marketed with...
(Tsumugi)
I thought it would make for an extremely strong-willed Snow White, and a kind-hearted Little Red Riding Hood. >< And you, Kujou-san, would be a graceful and dream-like Cinderella! [1]
(Tenn)
Why are you talking about it as if you can actually “see” it happening...
(Tsumugi)
It’s just that, as a girl, I really like these things...
(Tenn)
In that case, let me say something as well.
I’d be far more suitable than Izumi Iori for the prince who saves Riku, don’t you think.
(Tsumugi)
Ohhh, may I ask what makes you say that...?
(Tenn)
Because with the way Izumi Iori is doing it, Riku will never be saved. [2]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
[1] -- “dream-like” In original, this is 儚い (ephemeral, transient) which is a specific concept of beauty in Japanese art (where transience in itself is perceived as beautiful and elegant); Tsumugi uses it as 儚げ which is a form similar to adding “-like” at the end in English. The concept of a dreamy image is probably the closest we have to what the idea means to say so I used that.
[2] -- “Because with the way Izumi Iori is doing it, Riku will never be saved.” The literal form of this is more something like “Izumi Iori’s way of doing things can’t save Riku” but that sounds weak in English compared to how forceful it reads in original, so I made it sound more categorical. Leaving this as a note just so people can interpret on their own too.

[Translation] IDOLiSH7: Rabbit Chat [Yaotome Gaku - Märchen Dream]  Part 5
Title: Snow White Gaku?

------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Tsumugi)
Gaku-san, thank you for your hard work! The First Lottery cards have finally been put up for sale today. Thank you very much for working together with us on so many things yet again!
(Gaku)
Tsumugi, good work. While in transit earlier, I saw fans who were buying boxes of them. I’m so happy.
(Tsumugi)
Even if they attempt the lottery once, it already makes me plenty happy...!
(Gaku)
To be honest, if I could I’d just hand them the merch of whoever they like, from the get-go.
I caught myself almost talking to them before thinking, because of that.
(Tsumugi)
Me too, whenever I walk through the city and catch sight of one, in my heart I just feel like bowing a million times and repeating, “Thank you so very much,” over and over. ><
(Gaku)
We’ll have to keep working harder and harder too, for the sake of the fans who are cheering us on.
(Tsumugi)
You’re right. It’s just as you’ve said.
(Gaku)
This just served to remind me all over again. Not being friendly with each other just because we’re from different agencies... We don’t have time to be worrying about stuff like that.
(Tsumugi)
Did something happen...?
(Gaku)
No, but I was just thinking about how many people out there are happy that we’re all working together like this.
(Tsumugi)
That’s true, I was thinking the same. It seems that the stage reinauguration had an immensely powerful effect on things...
(Gaku)
I’d be glad if TRIGGER didn’t just get trapped as a stiffly stagnant and inflexible package of three, but instead got more jobs like these. I mean, filming together with everyone was a whole lot of fun, lol.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 1. Did you watch the short drama we released?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Did you watch the short drama we released?
(Gaku)
The 3 of us watched it together. Tenn burst into laughter with a serious face at my “This is how the story begins...” line at the start so I got annoyed, but it was filmed nicely. My old man kept complaining that it was gonna be half-assed because the theme was fairy tales, but I bet he won’t be able to say anything anymore once he sees it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 2. I wish we could get a continuation of that drama!
>>
(Tsumugi)
I wish we could get a continuation of that drama!
(Gaku)
The ending left a lot of room for interpretation, so I bet the fans would be happy if it got a continuation too, lol. I’m thinking my old man would give the OK for it too since it seems like it’d rake in money... That pisses me off, though.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 3. I would be happy if we could get to work together again!
>>
(Tsumugi)
I would be happy if we could get to work together again!
(Gaku)
I feel the same. You never know what sort of incredible idol might pop up any time, but I’m hoping we can be the ones to build the foundation for an era of idols that stand on par with Zero.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Gaku)
By the way, Ryuu’s just been saying some really scary things.
Like how it would’ve been fun if Snow White had been me, Cinderella had been Tenn, and Little Red Riding Hood had been Ryuu...
(Tsumugi)
I feel like your Snow White, Gaku-san, would be an extremely elegant princess with a will strong enough not to lose to any poisoned apple!
(Gaku)
Stop it with this princess thing... It can work in Tenn’s case, but...
(Tsumugi)
Kujou-san as Cinderella would likely turn out very graceful and imposing, so it would look wonderful... Also I think Tsunashi-san as Little Red Riding Hood would be both strong and gentle, and look good with the flowers!
(Gaku)
Tsumugi, you have a very vivid imagination, don’t you...?
(Tsumugi)
I-I’m sorry! I love talking about things like these so I always get carried away. ><
(Gaku)
The damn brat said, “You’d probably make a poisoned apple for yourself, all on your own.”
Ryuu as Little Red Riding Hood would be tough, lol. He could just beat the wolf.
(Tsumugi)
I feel more like he’d just persuade the wolf, and they’d bring peace to the world together...
(Gaku)
Or that...
But if I was Snow White, would that make Nanase Dracula then? Has that guy even played a role like that before.
(Tsumugi)
Given Riku-san’s character, he’s never received a work offer of that sort. However, he is Kujou-san’s little brother, and lately when I look at him I’ve been wondering if maybe he couldn’t have some dormant talent too, that might allow him to pull off a mysterious character or even a villain role!
(Gaku)
Now that you mention it, that could be the case. Sometimes when Nanase sings, I feel like there’s occasionally something that vaguely resembles Tenn about his expression.

[Translation] IDOLiSH7: Rabbit Chat [Kujou Tenn - Märchen Dream]  Part 4
Title: TRIGGER's Youngest

------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** [Previous: Part 3 - Märchen Dream] *** [Next: Part 5 - Thoughts About the Casting]
Note! Recommended reading order for part 4: | 1st: Ryuu | 2nd: Gaku | 3rd: Tenn | These three chats happen shortly following each other, so if you want to read things exactly as they happened in sequence, this gives you the correct order (which was their release order in the gacha at the time).
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Tenn)
Thank you for your hard work, Takanashi-san. Was it you who gave Ryuu ideas about how to use the bath towels that were among the merchandise?
(Tsumugi)
Kujou-san, thank you for your hard work!
Yes... Tsunashi-san rabbit-chatted me about having received the merchandise, so we talked about it. ><
(Tenn)
Please try to imagine that overgrown man sleeping on bath towels of us that he laid out.
(Tsumugi)
I thought it was cute...
(Tenn)
Isn’t that where you should normally say it’s disturbing...
(Tsumugi)
Whenever Tsunashi-san tells me about his feelings for you, Kujou-san, and for Gaku-san, it really warms my heart. And so I... ><
(Tenn)
I know just how much Ryuu cares for us, as a member, but this and that are two separate matters. Gaku’s just at Ryuu’s house right now too, and yet he won’t stop him, I really don’t get it.
(Tsumugi)
Gaku-san and Tsunashi-san are drinking at home right now, aren’t they!
(Tenn)
Seems like it. I’ll pass on that one, though.
(Tsumugi)
I guess it’s true you really don’t like gatherings without a specific purpose, then? You’ve told me about it before.
(Tenn)
Getting together just to act all friendly is kind of awkward, isn’t it.
And eventually, since I’m the only sober one, I just end up having to look after those two overgrown men.
(Tsumugi)
Th-That sounds difficult...
(Tenn)
Difficult doesn’t even begin to describe it. There were cases before when I had to get Ryuu into his nightclothes because he couldn’t change properly, and Gaku couldn’t even get into the bath on his own so I had to undress him.
(Tsumugi)
As expected of you, Kujou-san, you sound like a perfect care-taker...
(Tenn)
It’s precisely because I’ve seen these sides of them both, that it just feels weird when I look at the mini-posters and see Gaku posing as Dracula and Ryuu as Frankenstein.
(Tsumugi)
Ah, so you’ve received the merchandise as well, Kujou-san. Whether it’s the usual handsome side of you all, or you in your free time instead, both are still extremely charming...!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 1. Is there any merchandise you particularly liked?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Is there any merchandise you particularly liked?
(Tenn)
I wouldn’t say it was necessarily my favorite, but I thought the fans would likely enjoy the booklet a lot, since it showed rough design drafts of the costumes.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 2. You care for the other members a lot too, Kujou-san!
>>
(Tsumugi)
You care for the other members a lot too, Kujou-san!
(Tenn)
That’s not it. It’s just that Ryuu and Gaku are unsightly and can’t even behave themselves if I’m not there to rein them in.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 3. Did you put the mini-poster up for display?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Did you put the mini-poster up for display?
(Tenn)
I’m not going to do that. I plan on leaving it in the merchandise storage room, just like last time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Tenn)
Ryuu and Gaku didn’t exercise self-restraint even during the dinner Re:vale invited us to, which is kind of a problem.
(Tsumugi)
Momo-san and Yuki-san are, how should I put it, really good at livening things up. I should really try to learn a bit from them, myself!
(Tenn)
You don’t have to learn that, so don’t worry.
(Tsumugi)
I want to acquire experience in hosting parties, myself! There are many occasions in the industry that call for celebration, and I feel bad if all I can do is run around and refill people’s drinks...
(Tenn)
Just like the saying goes, it takes the right man for the right job, and you’re not suited to that sort of thing so I believe you shouldn’t have to do it.
(Tsumugi)
However, I’ve been learning by example quite a bit lately!
(Tenn)
Such as?
(Tsumugi)
Such as, how to croak like a frog. Ah, and I can make funny faces too!
(Tenn)
I think Gaku’s the only one it would actually work on.
(Tsumugi)
Ehhh, and here I was feeling pretty confident about it...

Hi I don’t love myself enough so I’ve gone and added more coding to my theme, that will color everyone’s names in the rabbit chats differently. Since I have to apply the paragraph class manually every time, this won’t be on any chats older than this post for a while, until I go back and manually edit each of them. Except Tsumugi, hers already had its own separate paragraph class bc it goes on the right, so hers is colored already.
But for chats from now on, you should be seeing different name colors. Also, the hex value for each color was copied from the colors I picked out of their in-game speech bubble headers (where the speaker’s name is). Some like Iori and Ryuu had different colors in part one than their current ones, and I’m using the updated/recent versions of theirs.
As usual, this will not show up on the default/standard mobile layout.
Thank you, I hope you enjoy.

(Gaku)
Good work, Tsumugi. You received the merchandise too, right? I heard from Ryuu.
(Tsumugi)
Thank you for your hard work, Gaku-san. We did receive it! Did you put them on display as well, Gaku-san?
(Gaku)
No, I left them in the same merch storage room [1] as last time, lol.
Those bath towels sure were big. Bath towels are pretty common among merch, but I bet not many people actually use them for what they are, right?
(Tsumugi)
Yes, as expected, I believe they end up mostly used as decoration!
(Gaku)
Did you see the picture of Ryuu’s room...?
(Tsumugi)
I did receive a picture of it. The towels featuring you, Gaku-san, and Kujou-san were laid out on the bed, weren’t they...!
(Gaku)
He’s one of our members himself, and the oldest too, but he’s doing stuff like sleep on our towels... And that’s supposed to be the room of the No.2 man people want to be embraced by.
(Tsumugi)
I thought it was nice and just like Tsunashi-san to do so, but I guess if the fans found out they would indeed be quite surprised. >< Did you receive a picture as well, Gaku-san?
(Gaku)
Ah, I’m actually at Ryuu’s place right now.
(Tsumugi)
So that’s how it was! Are you drinking at home, then? [2]
(Gaku)
Well, mostly you could say that, yeah. Come autumn, I often feel like eating Ryuu’s home-cooked fish, so during this season we end up drinking at his place quite a bit.
(Tsumugi)
Does Kujou-san not join you as well?
(Gaku)
Tenn’s always distant, but around this time of the year he gets even more so. I think he’s probably worried about Nanase. Apparently, there was a time before when Nanase’s condition got really bad on an autumn day like this, with really cold and winter-like wind.
(Tsumugi)
Really cold, winter-like wind... I’ve heard a little about that from Riku-san before, too. I’m sorry, I’ll make sure to monitor Riku-san’s condition even more closely than usual.
(Gaku)
Okay, and sorry to make you do this. If you can, please tell Tenn about it later too.
For now, I’m just checking out the merch while I drink.
(Tsumugi)
The products are really cute this time, are they not.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 1. Was there any merchandise you particularly liked?
>>
(Tsumugi)

(Gaku)
The booklets, I guess. I think the fans will be happy to get a glimpse into something normally off-limits like the rough stages of outfit design too, right?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 2. Looking at them kind of makes you want to go and watch a fantasy movie, doesn’t it!

(Tsumugi)
Looking at them kind of makes you want to go and watch a fantasy movie, doesn’t it!
(Gaku)
I feel you, lol. We were just saying maybe we should go to the store and rent a DVD here, too. I bet if we were at the older Izumi’s place instead, there’d already be a whole bunch lying around! Lol.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 3. I hope you can get Kujou-san to join you as well, next time...!
>>
(Tsumugi)
I hope you can get Kujou-san to join you as well, next time...!
(Gaku)
Yeah, me too. That guy... he’s still a brat, but he’s not one bit open about his feelings. Until Tenn can just come out and be honest, himself, I’m trying not to force him with invitations too much.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Gaku)
I wish you could drink too, Tsumugi.
(Tsumugi)
I still have a while to go... ><
How do you act when you’re drunk, Gaku-san? The adults at our place all react very differently, so it’s kind of fun...!
(Gaku)
I’m well aware of how much alcohol I can handle or not. I don’t let myself go past my limit anywhere except at Ryuu’s house.
Seeing Ousaka drunk gave me quite the shock... I guess it really is true what they say, about how it’s always the quiet ones you have to look out for.
(Tsumugi)
I’m sorry for the inconveniences he caused you that time...
(Gaku)
No, no, it seems Ryuu was actually quite having fun with that too, lol. Nikaidou starts spouting lectures left and right, and the older Izumi just laughs at everything when drunk.
(Tsumugi)
Tsunashi-san starts speaking in the Okinawan dialect, doesn’t he! Then, since you said you keep your limit in mind, Gaku-san, does that mean you don’t change much from usual?
(Gaku)
When you’re old enough to drink, Tsumugi, I’ll show you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
[0] -- Drinking with the Merch About the title -- the original is basically like “using the merch as tsumami”. Tsumami is a type of food / light snack that is usually served at izakaya and other pubs/bars to accompany drinks. Now, obviously it’s not trying to say they’re eating them, but it’s jokingly implying that instead of tsumami like normal, they had the merch there for company while drinking.
[1] -- merch storage room If you haven’t read the previous kuji set, this is the room Gaku mentioned there too (see his answer to the first choice there).
[2] -- drinking at home This is an actual thing with more or less its own word in Japanese (宅飲み, lit. “at-home drinking”). So like... yeah there’s a word to describe the common practice of drinking at someone’s house instead of going out with them to drink. So what Tsumugi actually asks here is, “Is this what one calls at-home drinking?” As in, asking Gaku if that’s what they’re doing.

[Translation] IDOLiSH7: Rabbit Chat [Tsunashi Ryuunosuke - Märchen Dream]  Part 4
Title: How to Use Bath Towels
Participants: Ryuunosuke, Tsumugi
Source: Unlocked in game from the Tsunashi Ryuunosuke card released as part of the second Ichiban Kuji card set (September-October 2016), pictured here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** [Previous: Part 3 - Märchen Dream] *** [Next: Part 5 - Märchen Dream as Imagined by Ryuu]
Note! Recommended reading order for part 4: | 1st: Ryuu | 2nd: Gaku | 3rd: Tenn | These three chats happen shortly following each other, so if you want to read things exactly as they happened in sequence, this gives you the correct order (which was their release order in the gacha at the time).
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Ryuunosuke)
Tsumugi-chan, have you received the samples for the First Lottery merchandise too? I remembered how we talked about the ones from last time, so I rabbit-chatted you!
(Tsumugi)
Thank you for your hard work, Tsunashi-san. We did receive them!
(Ryuunosuke)
I see, so you did! I kind of feel like the merch this time might be difficult to put on display...?
(Tsumugi)
That’s true, there don’t seem to be any products that are very suited for decoration...?
(Ryuunosuke)
There were some bath towels of us and Re:vale too, but I’d find it difficult to use them. It’s not like I can just wipe my body with everyone! Lol.
(Tsumugi)
I’ve been doing some research again, just like last time, and it seems not many people actually use them as such!
(Ryuunosuke)
I see! So what should I do then?
(Tsumugi)
It seems that people lay them out on their beds, in place of bed sheets.
(Ryuunosuke)
So this means I could go to sleep together with Gaku and Tenn, huh... It’s a little embarrassing lol. I wonder if the two of them will lay down my towel too.
The blankets the kids from IDOLiSH7 got are the most suited for normal use, aren’t they! Besides, you should always take care of girls and make sure they’re not cold.
(Tsumugi)
That’s right! My legs always get cold when I’m at the agency, so I was actually just using one right now.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 1. Which of the merchandise was your favorite?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Which of the merchandise was your favorite?
(Ryuunosuke)
I’d have to say those greeting card things! The image changes when you open and close them, so it’s really fun. I think my little brothers would love that kind of thing!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 2. The mini-mascot straps were cute too!
>>
(Tsumugi)
The mini-mascot straps were cute too! [1]
(Ryuunosuke)
They were cute! It looked as if we had all shrunk, I was really impressed. They preserved our individual props too! Iori-kun had his white horse, and he looked really good as a prince!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 3. At least the mini-posters can likely be put up for display!
>>
(Tsumugi)
At least the mini-posters can likely be put up for display!
(Ryuunosuke)
You’re right! I forgot about those. The prize for the last draw, huh... [2] Which means there’s only one available. It’s a lottery so it can’t be helped, but it still feels like a bit of a waste...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
(Ryuunosuke)
I still have the poster from last time with our signatures on it on display, and every time Gaku and Tenn come to visit they comment about how it’s still there lol. Apparently neither of them put theirs up.
(Tsumugi)
It might be that they’re just storing them safely!
(Ryuunosuke)
Maybe. Both of them are the type to keep things they care about enclosed somewhere safe. Meanwhile, I’m the type who likes to put them somewhere I’ll always see them!
(Tsumugi)
I’m the same type as you too! I want to keep things that make me happy where I can always glance at them.
(Ryuunosuke)
So you do that too, Tsumugi-chan! I wonder how Momo-san and Yuki-san are with this?
(Tsumugi)
Re:vale...! I bet a lot of merchandise of them has been released so far, so they may have storage rooms specifically for it.
(Ryuunosuke)
They do look like they’d have a storage room. Just like Tenn!
I took the example you told me about earlier, Tsumugi-chan, and laid out the bath towels of Gaku and Tenn on my bed. I’ll send you a picture later! Lol.
(Tsumugi)
R-Really...! I’ll be waiting for the picture then. >< Lol.

Note: I don't currently own this card; the translation was done using screencaps provided by a friend.
[1] -- mini-mascot straps This just said ミニキャラ (mini-chara = mini characters) so I had to reword it a little because, while it (marginally) makes sense in Japanese with the way merch names work, it would have sounded just ????? in English. I left out the word ‘character’ bc lol they’re characters to us but Tsumugi’s in the same world as them / they’re not fiction to her. Also ミニキャラ is what the small rubber straps in the merch set from this kuji were called, so I added that.
[2] -- prize for the last draw This is called ラストワン賞 (literally “last one prize”) and it gets given only to the person who bought the last remaining card in a specific draw. Which makes it super limited.

[Translation] IDOLiSH7: Rabbit Chat [Tsunashi Ryuunosuke - Märchen Dream]  Part 3
Title: Märchen Dream
Participants: Tsumugi, Ryuunosuke
Source: Unlocked in game from the Tsunashi Ryuunosuke card released as part of the second Ichiban Kuji card set (September-October 2016), pictured here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** [Previous: Part 2 - Frankenstein] *** [Next: Part 4 - How to Use Bath Towels]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Tsumugi)
Tsunashi-san, thank you for your hard work with the filming today. It was an honor to work with you!
(Ryuunosuke)
Thanks for working hard, Tsumugi-chan! I had so much more fun filming something in which we all acted together, rather than separated by each fairy tale!
The fairy tale characters got lost in a parallel world and were all struggling to return to their home worlds, while we of TRIGGER played the antagonists who tried to prevent that.
So in other words, the plot was that while everyone was trapped in the parallel world, the villains were trying to take over the original ones for themselves! It really was a wonderful story, so much so that I’d like to see it as a serialized drama on TV.
(Tsumugi)
You were trying to take over Little Red Riding Hood’s world, Tsunashi-san, while Gaku-san was after Cinderella’s world and Kujou-san after Snow White’s, and in the meantime Re:vale’s Momo-san and Yuki-san took a neutral stance and gave advice to both sides...
(Ryuunosuke)
I felt less like we were acting out roles too, and more like we were trying to become the characters themselves. I got so absorbed in everything, that the filming ended almost before I could process that it was over!
If you know the original fairy tale, it makes things quite surprising during the part where, after receiving advice from Momo-san the Cheshire Cat and Yuki-san the Hatter, Little Red Riding Hood Sougo-kun and Tamaki-kun the Wolf work together!
(Tsumugi)
Yes, since normally those two could never see eye to eye!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 1. Was there a scene that particularly stood out to you?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there a scene that particularly stood out to you?
(Ryuunosuke)
I think, maybe the scene in which Tenn, as the evil witch, is trying to get Riku-kun to eat the poisoned apple, but Momo-san the Cheshire Cat tells him, “Beware of the poison,” and so he ends up not eating it after all?
It went differently from in the story and had me thinking how this was a parallel world after all! So I was really impressed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 2. Was there a scene you found particularly difficult?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there a scene you found particularly difficult?
(Ryuunosuke)
Probably the scene where I chain the iron weight on Tamaki-kun... That thing was pretty heavy.
Even if I already knew Little Red Riding Hood Sougo-kun was going to save him and he’d be alright, I still felt bad. My line also went like, “Even if you were to beg for your life, it’s all in vain, since you were fated to die a dog’s death to begin with,” and all...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 3. Was there a scene you found particularly fun?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there a scene you found particularly fun?
(Ryuunosuke)
Maybe the scene where I was using the test tubes and flasks to try and create a drink of blood for Gaku! It was just some colored liquid made to resemble blood, but it looked like an actual experiment so I had fun!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Ryuunosuke)
Still, some of the roles we played are women’s roles to begin with so I was worried about how it would turn out at first, but I think the fans will enjoy the innovative scenario as well!
(Tsumugi)
I think so too! At the very least, I felt it was packed full of things that girls would enjoy. Fairy tales and idols and drama, all together...!
(Ryuunosuke)
The ending was left untold on purpose too, and the scene where Momo-san and Yuki-san say, “Only your heart knows how the story continues,” turned out really cool! It remained a mystery why they kept neutral, or whether they knew what the future would be. Honestly, I sure do wish it could turn into a TV series lol.
(Tsumugi)
It made me realize it’s precisely because of the way Re:vale is that the two of them were able to keep up the mysterious atmosphere so well, and I was impressed. How do you think it would end, Tsunashi-san?
(Ryuunosuke)
Let’s see... I’m a lover of happy ends through and through, so I’d like it if everyone’s worlds could just return to normal.
(Tsumugi)
I feel the same! I think I’ll ask everyone else for their opinion on this, as well. I’ll likely get a lot of different answers, so it will be interesting!
(Ryuunosuke)
Please do! And then be sure to share with me later.
Also when you get in touch with Gaku too, if at all, then please tell him, “The roses suited you very well,” or so! Lol.
(Tsumugi)
They really did look good on him, so I’ll be sure to tell him! However, why...?
(Ryuunosuke)
It’s just, I think he must’ve really liked the roses or something, because he took a picture with them. When Riku-kun told him, “Those really look good on you!” he seemed incredibly happy about it!
Tumblr media
(Tsumugi)
Probably because of how easy it is to tell that Riku-san doesn’t lie or give flattery he doesn’t mean! I understand now...!

[Translation] IDOLiSH7: Rabbit Chat [Kujou Tenn - Märchen Dream]  Part 3
Title: Märchen Dream
Participants: Tsumugi, Tenn
Source: Unlocked in game from the Kujou Tenn card released as part of the second Ichiban Kuji card set (September-October 2016), pictured here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** [Previous: Part 2 - The Witch from Snow White] *** [Next: Part 4 - TRIGGER's Youngest]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Tsumugi)
Kujou-san, thank you for your hard work with the filming today.
I believe this will become the best possible promotional drama, and that the fans will be very happy with it!
(Tenn)
Thank you for your hard work. Of course, we couldn’t have it any other way. I believe it turned out quite high-quality.
(Tsumugi)
The characters who got lost in the parallel world struggle to find a way back to their home worlds, while the antagonists portrayed by TRIGGER also fight to take over them, and in the meantime the mysterious Re:vale speak as if teasing everyone else, in such a way that it’s difficult to tell whose allies or enemies they are...
It was the greatest possible drama!
(Tenn)
Which do you think it would have, a happy end or a bad end?
(Tsumugi)
It did end with Momo-san’s statement of, “Only your heart knows how the story continues,” did it not... I’d like for it to end well, with everyone returning to their home worlds and living happily.
(Tenn)
I guess it’s because you want at least a fairy tale to allow you to keep on dreaming.
(Tsumugi)
Which way do you think it would go, Kujou-san?
(Tenn)
We were playing the antagonists, so our version of “right” would have been the one where we rule. I don’t think an ending where the whole world and all characters are happy could exist.
(Tsumugi)
It would prove quite tricky to make an ending that pleases everyone, would it not...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 1. Was there a scene that particularly stood out to you?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there a scene that particularly stood out to you?
(Tenn)
The scene where I jab a portrait of Riku with the tip of my staff while I make my demands. It may be only an act, but it was the first time I’ve ever behaved aggressively towards Riku, like that.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 2. Was there a scene you found particularly difficult?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there a scene you found particularly difficult?
(Tenn)
The scene in which Ryuu fails his experiment and sets me on fire. It came too close to how Ryuu and I act day to day, so it was a bit difficult to perform.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 3. Was there a scene you found particularly fun?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there a scene you found particularly fun?
(Tenn)
The scene in which I use magic and put Riku to sleep. It was actually enhanced through CGI so all that really happened while acting was a gust stirring the air around him, but I thought about how nice it would be if I could actually use magic like that.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Tenn)
Also, it’s good that there weren’t any members of the staff in the waiting room when he did so, but Riku came talking to me unnecessarily much...
He even came to touch my tail and wings, what’s with that?
(Tsumugi)
I heard from Riku-san. ><
(Tenn)
I thought at least Izumi Iori would scold Riku about it, but apparently even he was interested in how they felt to the touch.
(Tsumugi)
I believe Iori-san had an interest in the particular details of how the props were built. ><
(Tenn)
Thanks to that, I got surrounded by IDOLiSH7.
(Tsumugi)
I-I was not aware of that part...! My apologies for causing you trouble...
(Tenn)
Riku proclaimed, “They’re so squishy!” and then Yotsuba Tamaki wouldn’t stop touching them. Are you sure it’s safe to leave that kid unsupervised like that?
(Tsumugi)
I’m truly sorry...
(Tenn)
Nikaidou Yamato said, “So that’s Kujou’s true form,” so please be sure to tell him in that case his true form is most likely a pair of glasses.
(Tsumugi)
R-Roger that!
(Tenn)
^^

Note
Hi, for part 3 of Gaku's märchen dream, do you mean older Izumi instead of older Mitsuki?
Lol, most definitely, thank you for catching that!
My brain must’ve auto-defaulted to Mitsuki’s actual name (in translation from Gaku-language) because I didn’t even notice I did that. I fixed it now.

[Translation] IDOLiSH7: Rabbit Chat [Yaotome Gaku - Märchen Dream]  Part 3
Title: Märchen Dream
Participants: Tsumugi, Gaku
Source: Unlocked in game from the Yaotome Gaku card released as part of the second Ichiban Kuji card set (September-October 2016), pictured here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** [Previous: Part 2 - The Mysterious Dracula] *** [Next: Part 4 - Drinking with the Merch]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Tsumugi)
Gaku-san, thank you for your hard work with the filming today. I believe this will become the best possible promotional drama, and that the fans will be very happy with it!
(Gaku)
Good job, Tsumugi. Thanks for taking the time to get in touch.
(Tsumugi)
The three villains portrayed by TRIGGER set the story’s plot in motion, by trapping the fairy tale characters in a parallel world where they’re lost and wandering, so they can try to take over their original worlds. Even if it’s said to be just promotional, I think it actually came out quite realistic...!
(Gaku)
When I first got the script, I really wondered how we were gonna fit such a complex setting into just a 30-minute short drama. Then I read it, and it ended with Momo-san’s, “Only your heart knows how the story continues,” which surprised me.
Personally, I’m not really a fan of open finales that leave room for interpretation though, lol.
(Tsumugi)
I know what you mean! But, because they couldn’t really show things like who won and who lost in this case, maybe this way of doing it was best. ><
(Gaku)
You’re right. If you think of it with the fans in mind, that was the right choice.
(Tsumugi)
How do you think it would end, Gaku-san?
(Gaku)
I’ve seen all sorts of movies, so judging based on that I’d say this one feels like it would stick to the pattern where, at the end of it all, they find a way for everyone to live happily?
And that would include Momo-san’s and Yuki-san’s characters, who weren’t really on anyone’s side. Women prefer happy endings, right.
(Tsumugi)
I see. >< I’ve been asking everyone about how they think it would end, and each person replied with something different, so it’s very interesting...!
(Gaku)
I don’t know how the final product will be received this time with the form it’s taken, but the filming itself was way too much fun.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 1. Was there a scene that particularly stood out to you?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there a scene that particularly stood out to you?
(Gaku)
When Nikaidou was using magic. That’s enough said, lol. He was actually a good guy all along, wasn’t he, even preparing a pumpkin carriage when the older Izumi’s Cinderella was in a pinch.
I told Nikaidou that with him playing the role, even knowing the script beforehand, it still looked like he might betray his comrades any minute now so I was almost worried, and he shouted, “Shut up, you damn rosebush,“ at me, lol. [1]
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 2. Was there a scene you found particularly difficult?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there a scene you found particularly difficult?
(Gaku)
The scene where I have to injure Rokuya, I guess. That sort of stuff really doesn’t sit well with me to begin with. So even if it was just acting, with Rokuya as my opponent I still felt reluctant...
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 3. Was there a scene you found particularly fun?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there a scene you found particularly fun?
(Gaku)
The one where Ryuu fails his experiment and sets Tenn’s tail on fire, lol. Their banter there was pretty much just typical Ryuu and Tenn. [2] Tenn got mad and tore Ryuu’s clothes to shreds, but I was thinking it’s nice that they even included comedy scenes like these.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Gaku)
By the way, speaking of dramas, a little while ago when the older Izumi and I had a recording session together, we both had free time afterwards so we went to see that one movie that was adapted from a popular drama.
The older Izumi sure cried his eyes out. On the other hand, I could tell that it was intended to make you cry at the end, so I didn’t like it much, lol.
(Tsumugi)
So that’s how it was! You’ve become movie buddies now. I’m glad you’re getting along off-stage as well, thank you very much!
(Gaku)
Apparently the older Izumi watches quite a lot of movies too, so our hobbies match well.
(Tsumugi)
Do Tsunashi-san and Kujou-san not really watch movies, then?
(Gaku)
When Tenn watches them, you can tell it’s only as a reference for work, since all he does is comment on how the actors are performing, so watching with him isn’t much fun. Ryuu watches them too, but even if it’s the most low-rate movie ever, he only makes positive comments like, “That part was good too in its own way,” and nothing else.
(Tsumugi)
Then, does that make Mitsuki-san the best...?
(Gaku)
Yeah. He was still talking excitedly about it even later that evening, over a drink. Stuff like how this one scene was all the better because it had foreshadowing before, or how that one character should have been more assertive there, like a real man, and so on.
(Tsumugi)
How passionate...! It really does feel like a conversation between guys, and I’m almost a little envious!
(Gaku)
Next time, I’ll lend you a DVD I think you’d like, Tsumugi. Will you watch it and tell me what you thought?
(Tsumugi)
Could you, really!? Thank you very much, I would absolutely love to discuss it with you afterwards.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
[1] -- “you damn rosebush” Ngl I translated this one quite liberally. Yamato basically goes all, “shut up, rose jerk” (or “rose bastard”) at Gaku. But the point/emphasis is more on calling Gaku a rose (because of the thorns/vines on his costume) instead of a person, so I felt like “you damn rosebush” fit the intent perfectly.
[2] -- “Their banter there was pretty much just typical Ryuu and Tenn.” Not as clear in translation as I’d like, but Gaku is using 素 (plain / normal / unadorned) to describe Ryuu and Tenn here. So he’s saying even though it was a fictional scene in a drama, that’s almost exactly how they are irl too.

[Translation] IDOLiSH7: Rabbit Chat [Tsunashi Ryuunosuke - Märchen Dream]  Part 2
Title: Frankenstein
Participants: Ryuunosuke, Tsumugi
Source: Unlocked in game from the Tsunashi Ryuunosuke card released as part of the second Ichiban Kuji card set (September-October 2016), pictured here.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** [Previous: Part 1 - A New Project] *** [Next: Part 3 - Märchen Dream]
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Ryuunosuke)
Tsumugi-chan, thanks for working hard! I heard the details for the First Lottery project. It seems that I’ll be Frankenstein!
(Tsumugi)
Tsunashi-san, thank you for your hard work. I’ve been informed as well. I can’t wait to see you dressed like Frankenstein!
I’ve seen the outfit as well, and it was very realistic-looking! There’s even a weight attached to your leg...!
(Ryuunosuke)
It is indeed realistic! This outfit doesn’t show very much skin, so I’m a little relieved lol.
I’ll have to research a bunch of things about Frankenstein now. Tsumugi-chan, do you have a favorite fairy tale?
(Tsumugi)
My favorite was The Little Mermaid! My father used to read it to me often... I get the feeling most girls probably like that story.
(Ryuunosuke)
The Little Mermaid, huh...! I read that one to my little brothers one time, too. But I was the one who started crying while reading it! Lol.
(Tsumugi)
It’s very sad, isn’t it... She turns into sea foam and vanishes...
(Ryuunosuke)
I got asked, “Big bro, are you crying?” And then my little brothers comforted me. This time, I want to look cool for them, so I’ll do my best with the villain role!
(Tsumugi)
I’m sure they’ll think that you’re very cool when they see you as Frankenstein, Tsunashi-san!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 1. Do you have a favorite fairy tale, Tsunashi-san?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Do you have a favorite fairy tale, Tsunashi-san?
(Ryuunosuke)
Maybe this one fairy tale, called “The Star Money”. Anyone can find it pretty easy to just be polite to everyone, but the girl in that story gave away everything she had for the sake of other people.
Even when I was little, I felt that sort of thing is sure to get seen by someone up there, and it’ll come back to you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 2. How did you feel about being cast as the antagonists in the fairy tales?
>>
(Tsumugi)
How did you feel about being cast as the antagonists in the fairy tales?
(Ryuunosuke)
I’m uneasy since I don’t think I’m suited to be a villain, but Tenn is normally like a little devil to begin with, so I’m going to ask him for some tips as to what makes a bad guy! Lol. Or at least I want to, but do you think Tenn will get mad at me?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
>> 3. Was there any other outfit you would have liked to try on?
>>
(Tsumugi)
Was there any other outfit you would have liked to try on?
(Ryuunosuke)
I’ve seen everyone’s roles, and I’d say maybe Tamaki’s wolf outfit! The ears and tail were really fluffy and cute. I had fur on my outfit for the previous First Lottery project too, but this is because Tenn looked so happy while touching them!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(Ryuunosuke)
By the way, generally speaking, just what kind of promotional video will we be filming? Our manager hasn’t said anything about that part yet.
(Tsumugi)
We have a bunch of separate stories like Little Red Riding Hood or Alice, but it seems like we’ll be producing an original drama that mixes all of the characters together!
(Ryuunosuke)
Eh--! That sounds so interesting! I thought the video for Little Red Riding Hood would be filmed with just the kids from Little Red Riding Hood.
(Tsumugi)
It’s really exciting, isn’t it! I hadn’t imagined we’d be shooting a drama with everyone together.
(Ryuunosuke)
Now I’m even more fired up about playing the villain!
(Tsumugi)
Back at the stage reinauguration too, in the role of Ten [1], you were very impressive as a demon, Tsunashi-san, and I got really absorbed in the performance. We’ll work our hardest as well, so that we don’t lose to TRIGGER!
(Ryuunosuke)
Thank you! Let’s all do our best.
It’s the first time I get to act in something alongside Yuki-san and Momo-san, too. Momo-san doesn’t really appear much in dramas, does he. I wonder what his acting will be like?
(Tsumugi)
It’s true, Momo-san does a lot of work hosting shows or starring in variety instead! I look forward to the final product!
(Ryuunosuke)
I also can’t wait for Mitsuki-kun as Cinderella, or Riku-kun’s Snow White! Please give my warmest regards to the kids in IDOLiSH7!

[1] -- the role of Ten In case you didn’t know, TRG’s “Last Dimension” was used as a musical performance during their stage, in which all three characters they’re portraying are named after the English word for their number. So Gaku is “Eight”, Tenn’s character is “Nine”, and Ryuu is “Ten”. In the plot, Nine is the protagonist, while Eight is an angel and Ten is a demon, both of whom are assisting him. Also if you’re wondering, yes, Ryuu did feel weird being named Ten (because Tenn, lol) and mentions this briefly in his own chat. One day I’ll translate the Last Dimension cards too.
