The paralell
This is 100% my favourite Far From Home poster because all I see is another version of small Peter and Iron Man in this scene from IM2. I love this parallel.

Headcanon: When Tony Stark snapped his fingers, he didn’t just kill Thanos and his army.
Tony Stark was a creator, not a destroyer. A fixer. A scientist.
When Tony Stark snapped his fingers, environmentalists around the world noticed a substantial drop in carbon pollution. It wasn’t instantly picked up and at first it just seemed like some good environmental news after a long spell of terrible happenings.
But then, areas where the climate had changed, changed back. Ice returned to the arctic and the “Northwest Passage” was once again a myth. Sea level stopped rising.
In cities blanketed in smog, the days of having unbreathable air quality crippling the lives of millions were gone. Waterways where algae had smothered other life and killed local flora and fauna were clearer. Biodiversity thrived. Invasive species started losing. Deserts that had been expanding not only stopped but started to recede. Famine became more scarce. Food was aplenty. Land that was fallow was made whole again.
People stopped being as sick. Bacteria that was becoming immune to antibiotics seemed to devolve. Viruses were not so virulent. (A cure for the common cold was discovered in 2026, but that might not be directly attributed to Tony Stark.)
Things just got better. All around. Every aspect of life seemed to have improved. Everyone was back, the world was healing. People seemed better. Fear was not as abundant. Parents were no longer fearful for their children playing around the neighborhood unattended.
Tolerance trumped hate. Peace sprung up more than war. People talked again.
That’s why there are memorials to Tony Stark all over the world. Not because he saved the world from imminent distraction, but the fact that he saved us from ourselves. He gave us a second chance.
No one knew at first that Tony Stark has done all this, but as time went on, the sheer magnitude of the mindfulness behind the Snap-That-Saved-The-World became more and more apparent.
And Tony Stark would always be remembered.
