Personal Trainer Alex Hcs

Alex seems like the type to be really strict when it comes to exercise because he’s really passionate about it, but in reality he’s much more chill than the farmer thought he would be 

He is ecstatic when the farmer brings up wanting to get in shape and immediately offers his help 

Although it’s a bit awkward at first, the farmer accepts. He wasn’t the best at keeping up his form and it’s been years since he’s genuinely tried to exercise, given his time consuming and soul sucking job before the valley

He did stretches in his apartment during the mornings, and tried to walk as much as possible during the weekends, but that’s as much exercise he did

But working at the farm had given him motivation to stay in shape and he wanted to take full advantage of it 

Alex is the best hypeman, I won’t let anyone tell me otherwise 

Alex would meet up with him in the early dawn to run laps around the farm and the town with the farmer. The farmer thinks he’s also training with him, but Alex does it just to keep him company 

In fact, most of the time Alex joins in with him, it’s just to offer support. If anything, Alex just likes being around them, no matter what they are doing, following like a puppy

The farmer would try sit-ups, and Alex would sit by his feet, making sure he did them correctly. 

His teasing nature would come out though, and Alex would sneak kisses to his face when the farmer did a sit-up correctly, which wasn’t a bad thing because giggles do burn calories

But Alex definitely uses kisses as rewards, so the farmer has to work extra hard to receive them 

Alex would praise him every time the farmer did more push-ups each time they exercised, and Alex would get really proud of his progress 

“You’re catching up to me,” Alex would laugh

When Alex is fixing his posture and form though, he gets...distracted to say the least 

He can’t resist touching him, his fingers always lingering on his skin. It’s hard to focus sometimes

Alex would notice the farmer’s red face and ask “Is something wrong?” knowing damn well he was distracting

The farmer would try to go along with the workout as if Alex wasn’t totally checking him out 

After their training, Alex would always be willing to fix him a hearty meal while the farmer showers, ensuring the farmer got all the nutrients he needed 

When there’s visible progress on the farmer’s body though, Alex is the one who’ll get really flustered, trying to avert his eyes if the farmer catches him oogling at him.

The shock on Alex’s face when the farmer successfully picks him up and hoists him on his back for the first time has never left the farmer’s mind

He likes it though, more than he lets on

Alex - He would catch himself pining for the farmer, but just when he understood his feelings towards them, Alex would see them hold hands with another person. There was sadness hidden by jealousy. Shane - He knew it was too good to be true. A part of him knew this, deep down. But he couldn’t help but to hope. It would take a while for Shane to move past his intense feelings, but he would find it harder to suffocate them in the presence of the farmer. He would push away the need to kiss them and merely watch them from afar. 

Abigail - Her emotions were always really strong. She felt things intensely and thoroughly so when she realized she harbored feelings towards the farmer, she wasn’t prepared for how strong they would be. She wasn’t prepared for it to hurt as much when she saw the farmer kiss someone else. She thought that maybe, just maybe, she would have something to call her own. 

Emily - Sadness didn’t suit her. Emily wasn’t the type to moan around like her sister when things didn’t go her way, but why did this hurt a little too much? She thought she felt a connection to the farmer, something that was beyond comprehension. Maybe she thought wrong, but she couldn’t blame them. Emily would smile at them and act like nothing happened.

Haley - She was used to doing the rejection, not receiving it. Although she wasn’t technically rejected because she never confessed to the farmer, it still hurt to see them hug someone else. There would be the slight sting of jealousy, and in her mind, she would recount all the times the farmer looked at her like if she was their world. 

Leah - Her artwork was the only thing keeping her company. When life threw unexpected trials towards her, her art was what reigned supreme. She would immerse herself once more and push away all the feelings that threatened to bubble over. She wouldn’t take the farmer’s calls for a while. 

Maru - She had always been too focused on her work to worry about romance, and now she had a reason to keep them separated. She didn’t display her emotions out in the open, so holding them in around the farmer was easy. At night, when she was alone, she would quietly assess her feelings, repeating it all in the morning once more. 

Penny - She found it difficult to face them. Despite them not knowing anything about her feelings towards them, they noticed her distance. Penny wanted so many things in her life, and each day that passed was just another thing she couldn’t have. Did she always overthink their interactions?

Harvey isn’t used to asking for hugs and physical reassurance from anyone, so the farmer being able to pick up nuances in his behavior bodes really well for him

I need everything on the mythology aus please 🥺 do they have any conflicts based on which myth they are (i.e. Werewolves vs. Vampires)? Or how do each of them react to an ordinary human farmer moving to the valley?

I would feel like just the valley in general would be a hotspot for different mythological species; More like a safe space for them since it's out of city limits, and in the wilderness where it's hard to make a living. It’s very easy for them to hide here away from humans. 

For the conflicts they face as a community, I would think they would try to settle differences aside in order to not bring any unwanted attention to Pelican Town, for example, limiting how and where the vampires feed and managing the territorial aspects of werewolves. Of course, there’s always a tension between them despite the whole community thing, because it’s just in their nature to be territorial, especially the vampires and the werewolves. The selkies and sirens get along incredibly well I would say, as well as the fairies and changelings because of their similar personalities and nature. The muses, dryads, and sphinxes always flock together, their love for the arts and nature strengthening their relationships. They all tolerate each other for the sake of keeping Pelican Town safe for them.

So when the farmer does move in, they are first suspicious of them because, for most of them, they haven’t seen humans in years and some might harbor some kind of apprehension towards them, like ghosts and other apparitions might hold grudges against humans who expelled them from their homes. The farmer however would be oblivious to all of it. The farmer’s natural green thumb would catch the dryads’ and nymphs’ attention first, and they would merely watch from a distance. Eventually, the fairies would get curious and occasionally help them, giving them little hints about their existence by helping their crops grow even more. When the farmer goes fishing, they would think they saw a pair of eyes peeking at them from under the docks. When they went into town, they would feel the way some looked at them up and down, almost like sizing them up. The farmer would carry on with their activities and day to day life, noticing these little things.
