So I’m rewatching 27 Dresses and I can’t stop thinking about how if I were Jane, I would never forgive Tess or at least not as easily as she does. Like Tess never apologizes for how she acted basically the entire time she was visiting and also never owns up to her behavior. Like she gives some sob story about how she was fired and broken up with so her life isn’t perfect but that doesn’t excuse everything else she did including lying to Jane’s boss, stealing Jane’s dream wedding, and cutting up their mothers wedding dress. If my sister knew how much I loved our parents wedding and how I wanted to wear our mom’s dress and then she cut it up? It would take more than some bullshit excuse for me to forgive. She would have to show some actual remorse and show and effort that she is going to change her attitude and behavior in the future. I cannot believe how quickly Jane forgives her and how she even makes her her maid of honor at her wedding the next year.

Just finished the 3rd season of Young Royals and here are my thoughts and opinions:
1. I actually do feel bad for August and kind of forgive him. What he did was shitty but I feel like this scene gave him some sort of look into his past and his problems. I think the letter he read to Sara was really important and meaningful now I just wish he would have read it to Wille.
2. Sara may be annoying a lot of the time but I honestly forgive her too. August was her first love and she did something stupid. I think she needs to start being a better sister to Simon but I really liked her storyline with her dad and think it added some depth to her character.
3. Simon breaking up with Wille on his birthday after he just got into a huge fight with his parents was sooooo wrong. Like saying “I didn’t even recognize you” is so fucked up considering his circumstances. Enough said.
4. I understand Simon’s frustration with Wille and how he doesn’t use his power for good or take a stance and how Wille doesn’t understand his privilege. I think those points are all fair. But I don’t think Simon tries to understand Willie’s perspective enough either. How he has no freedom and can’t be himself. Like Simon dealt with that for a couple weeks and that was enough for him to break it off.
5. Justice for Felice because her friends suck. When she mentioned how she’s treated differently at the school because of her race her friends literally said “Felice you are beautiful” and she was like “umm thanks but that’s not really what I was getting at”
6. I just really want August and Wille to make up because I feel like they could really support each other. The only person who could really understand the pressure Wille is under is August.
7. I think that everyone kinda glossed over Willie’s trauma about his brother dying. He has been through so much and I feel like he didn’t get enough of a grace period.
Ughhh this season was so good

So I’m reading Percy Jackson: The Lightening Thief for the first time and I am at the casino scene.
May I just say that they haven’t even eaten the lotus flowers yet and they are still the stupidest bitches alive.
Like they are suspicious of everyone because of their track record with monsters but they go into this crazy casino hotel and get a free room with free amenities everywhere and they don’t question it.

How could Derek Morgan have been a cop in Chicago, working in crimes of obsession, and working on the bomb squad all before he joins the fbi and be under the age of 35 in the first season? Make it make sense.

We were literally deprived of seeing JJ and Emily get married and be moms together.

So you know how after Reid is kidnapped he steals the dilaudid from Tobias’s dead body? I feel like realistically that wouldn’t have happened because he was only gone for like a day and couldn’t have become addicted that fast where he would feel the need to take the drugs. I feel like once he came off the drugs is when he would search for more if at all.

I just had a realization. In the two episode arch of Criminal minds called The Fisher King part 1 & 2. In these episodes, the unsub is a delusional guy who targets the team and seems to know everything about them. Derek even says “he seems to know things about all of us that I don’t even know.” So as it turns out, the reason he knew all of this stuff is because he once shared a mental hospital with Diana Reid (Spencer’s mother). Well what I just realized is that the reason his mom knew all that information is because he told it all to his mom in his letters. That means that only Reid knew that JJ used to collect butterfly’s and that Gideon loves this specific baseball player. I just find it adorable that Reid knew those very specific facts about JJ and Gideon who he was kinda the closest to in the show. Absolutely adorable.

I’m rewatching Criminal Minds right now and am just realizing that the man they cast as Hotch’s brother looks wayyyy too old to be playing a 25 year old in season 1. What was casting thinking?

Why is House’s answer to everything to sedate or drug people?

Guess where the deep, insightful quote comes from: “Do you think god stays up in heaven because he too fears what he created here on earth?”
I’ll give you a hint. It’s from a work of genius.
(Obviously it’s from Spy Kids 2, duh. 🙄)

Wait cause why could I watch an entire show just of House in the mental hospital? Lin Manuel Miranda’s role? Amazing. House’s romance with the random woman who’s visiting a patient? Weirdly I love it. House on a person growth journey. Perfect. I also love how Captain Holt from B99 is the person who runs the center. I honestly vibe with this part of the show.

There have been a lot of bad character exits on shows due to actors having to leave. Kutner’s suicide in House has to be the worst fucking one. Literally no explanation, no build up, nothing. They don’t even explain why he did it. Such bullshit. What did they get one episode notice that he was leaving? It’s just bad writing.

I think it’s some bullshit that we pretend to agree that Wilson is just some kind innocent man. First of all we know he’s just nice cause he’s a people pleaser. But that’s not even the most important part. He LOVES fucking around with House. Like he loves pranking him and is honestly just as psychotic as him. Sometimes more. In one episode I watched he doesn’t react to a prank that House does to him. House finds that weird and thinks something is off with him. His reasonable response is to stake out Wilson’s house with his PI and stalk him. They see a hooker go into Wilson’s apartment. When House brings it up, he tells House that he fell in love with the prostitute. Then House goes through Wilson’s trash from his home and finds needles and drug paraphernalia. Turns out all of this was a prank on House. He literally hired a hooker, pretended to date her, and planted that stuff in his house knowing House would break in and spy. They are perfectly suited to each other. Wilson is just as fucked up as House is. The only difference is Wilson only acts that way with House. That’s why they are perfect for each other.

Why is it unacceptable to want to do nothing? Out of all the things that give me joy, I think doing nothing is the most consistent. I just want to rot in my cozy bed and read or watch tv for 8 hours straight. Why is that bad?

There’s a sort of feeling that only a younger sister can feel toward their older sister no matter what age they are: wanting what their sister wants even if you don’t want it. For example, my mom bought a little beanbag for me and I said I’ll look at it later but I didn’t really care about it. When I went home the other weekend, she mentioned that my sister wants it. All of a sudden, I have never wanted anything more. That beanbag is the love of my life. I need it like I need air. It is MINE.

Unpopular Gilmore Girls opinion: everyone hates Rory in the later season which is fine, whatever, but no one talks about how annoying Lorelei gets. She makes herself a martyr by complaining to other people about how she wants to say stuff to Rory about her decisions but doesn’t because she can’t pull the “mom card” anymore. I think it’s stupid and unlorelei like to hold back her thoughts. She wants to control Rory’s life but doesn’t want to be like her mom so instead she just secretly resents and judges Rory behind her back. It bugs the crap out of me.
