Telefonia mobile: nel 2022 più GB nelle offerte e costi più bassi

Tantissimi GB a prezzo ridotto. Sono i due requisiti che i consumatori ormai ricercano in una buona offerta di telefonia mobile. La dotazione di GB è ormai da tempo il terreno della contesa tra i vari operatori, che propongono pacchetti con canoni medi mensili sempre più bassi (fino al 8% in meno rispetto allo scorso anno) e dati a profusione per connettersi in mobilità. Il nuovo studio dell’Osservatorio SOStariffe.it analizza le variazioni, in termini di composizione e costi, dei pacchetti all inclusive di telefonia mobile rispetto allo scorso anno. MNO e MVNO: i Giga inclusi aumentano del 43,9% L'indagine realizzata con l'ausilio del comparatore offerte telefonia mobile, mette a confronto le offerte rilevate nel marzo del 2021 con quelle di disponibili a maggio 2022. La ricerca analizza il costo periodico e la dotazione (in termini di minuti, SMS e Giga inclusi) delle tariffe ricaricabili di operatori sia tradizionali che virtuali da un lato (MNO e MVNO). Le offerte ora in commercio presentano il 43,9% dei Giga in più ogni mese. Così se a marzo dello scorso anno si poteva contare su una media di 66 GB mensili ora sono disponibili circa 95 GB al mese. Una pioggia di dati per convincere i nuovi clienti a cambiare operatore ma anche più minuti inclusi (+2,1%), che da una media di 2612 arrivano a 2666. Gli SMS invece accennano, seppur di poco, a diminuire (-7%), ormai ‘mandati in soffitta’ dall'avanzata dei dati. I messaggi di testo tradizionali scendono da 1697 a 1578 al mese. Allo stesso tempo il costo periodico delle promozioni continua a calare (- 8,8%). In media, infatti, le offerte disponibili sul mercato presentano un costo medio di 10 euro al mese con un risparmio ulteriore rispetto a quanto rilevato nel corso dell’indagine del 2021 (10,96 euro al mese). Complessivamente, quindi, le tariffe presenti sul mercato di telefonia mobile includono ora più Giga e presentano un canone mensile inferiore. Operatori tradizionali: più di 100 GB al mese a prezzo ridotto Se si guarda, invece, ai pacchetti proposti dagli operatori MNO, le compagnie telefoniche che dispongono di una rete di proprietà (TIM, Vodafone, WINDTRE e Iliad), notiamo una tendenza per molti versi simile. Anche in questo caso la riduzione del costo periodico va di pari passo all'incremento dei Giga inclusi. A fronte di una somma mensile da sborsare sempre più bassa (-8,8%) che da 14,79 si è ridotta a 13,49 euro al mese, i GB compresi si sono moltiplicati (+42,3%), passando da 71 GB a 101 GB al mese. Si registra però un fenomeno in parte diverso rispetto al mercato telefonico complessivo. Gli operatori tradizionali nel corso degli ultimi mesi hanno lievemente ridotto i minuti inclusi (-4,3%), che calano da una media di 2841 a circa 2720 ogni mese. Gli MNO, inoltre, incrementano gli SMS offerti (+23,7%) che salgono da 1655 a 2048, dimostrando di resistere all’avanzata dei dati, con un’inaspettata inversione di tendenza e tante offerte che includono SMS illimitati. Operatori virtuali: aumentano i Giga, stabile il prezzo Gli MVNO (operatori virtuali che utilizzano l’infrastruttura di rete di un provider MVNO) fanno registrare la stessa tendenza dell’intero mercato per quanto riguarda l’aumento del numero di Giga inclusi nelle offerte. Restano stabili, invece, i prezzi, già nettamente inferiore rispetto a quelli proposti dalle offerte degli operatori MNO. In media, infatti, le offerte degli MVNO includono 92 GB al mese (+46%) al costo di 8,32 euro (-1%). Rispetto allo scorso anno, quindi, la tariffa media proposta dagli operatori virtuali include praticamente lo stesso prezzo ma con quasi 30 GB in più al mese. Per quanto riguarda minuti ed SMS, invece, il pacchetto medio proposto dagli operatori MVNO si compone di 2725 minuti (+10,8%) e 1489 SMS (-13,7%).
