Something that's amusing to think about: Gerard Way hated when MCR were called emo. Older people would often be livid if someone called MCR emo because they weren't real emo. Yet, MCR's debut album has everything going for it to have been an iconic as fuck emo album if it had dropped in the mid-late 80s before the commercialized evolution of the genre throughout the 90s.

Well shit. Making every companion in BG3 romanceable was a mistake. I started with Astarion in mind, accidentally got in Shadow Heart's good graces (and also I love her,) but then I started interacting with Gale more and I'm head-over-heels for him!! I sure hope the game lets you come to some polyam agreement because otherwise I'm going to need to make so many characters...

i. can’t believe people are STILL attacking jenna ortega for the whole “changing lines” thing like. a. she was ASKED For her opinion on set and she was ASKED by the interviewer. some of y’all didn’t listen to the whole thing and it really shows.

ALSO tv shows are a collaborative process. writers actors and directors are all involved and all of them have to make concessions to keep each other happy and make the best product possible. all of them should be respected and treated fairly and paid properly. BUT the final product was a global success so idk why you’re mad about jenna speaking up on the experience. y’all will actively ignore the fact that wednesday is not a character that should ever go in a CW style direction, that this was filmed and written during COVID when everyone, including jenna, was in a foreign country and being pushed to their limits. the writers would have been ripped to shreds if jenna didn’t make the changes she did but now all that y’all can talk about is how “entitled” she is. grow up

#also doesn’t escape me that a man in his 40s/50s was picking on a girl half his age. like she wasn’t particularly big before this #GIVE HER A BREAK #also. i have worked and experienced smaller scale projects in which writer actor director collab is necessary #i’ve had to sacrifice aspects of the characters i’ve written or clunky dialogue for better performances. i’ve had to change dialogue #and action for my version of the character. i’ve had to say no to director decisions cuz i thought it was. dumb #like. don’t act like she’s wrong for talking about parts of acting every actor will experience. she’s young still jesus #ali speaks #jenna ortega
